This is my first time leaving a review and what can I say..this is the only CVS branch that treated me correctly so far and that’s thanks to Ms. Anna and the pharmacist (wasn’t able to get his name.) I live in Glen Burnie and went to two different locations to be told that they didn’t have the brand of my medication. On top of them not having my prescription, I was treated in a way where it seemed like I was BOTHERING both workers for each brand. I transferred it to the Towson location and was assisted by Ms. Anna. They apologized that I drove all the way to this location and that the branches could have prescribed me a different type of brand as the dosages/ingredients were the same anyway, but unfortunately the workers didn’t seem to bother to even try. Thanks for your help to the Towson location!

The absolute worse , they have messed up my prescription more than once . They do not read , how is it that the insurance understands the script but you don't. They have done this on more than one occasion. Causing me to have to pay more money because it wasn't filled properly. They will blame the doctor , the insurance anyone but themselves. They don't answer phones or they will pick up and leave you on hold . They are horrible. If I could leave a negative 0 I would but google will not allow . Go to any other location besides this one .

I am currently waiting on a prescription. I stood in line for 25 minutes to be told they do not have my medicine. I asked could they transfer it to another pharmacy. Then they said they had the medicine, it would be 20 minutes. I walked around and came back to another line. I have been waiting 15 additional minutes and counting. 50 minutes in, I'm not leaving. I'm sitting on top of two boxes of goodnites. Will I get my prescription tonight...victory!!!! 1 hour and 10 minutes later. Pharmacy tech was lovely. Wait time could use some improvement.

This pharmacy used to be the best but in the last few months it’s honestly horrendous. They do not pick up the phone even after waiting on hold for 45 minutes (yes 45!). If you’re somehow lucky enough to get them to pick up they can never find your prescriptions even though 2 different doctors have sent them there 2 separate times ( and have been sending them for years- it was never a problem until recently). Not sure what the issue is (understaffed I guess?) but if you really need your medication find another place to fill it because you won’t be able to get it here.

I visited this pharmacy to get my toddler’s medicine and was told that they were out of the medicine and the next closest pharmacy with the medicine in stock was the Park Heights location… which is a 30 minute drive from that location. I asked the associate if she checked the one on Loch Raven and Taylor Ave. She said yes and told me they were also out of stock. I asked if they could transfer my prescription to the Park Heights location and was told no. I asked if they could call to be sure before I made the trip and was told no and gave me their number to call myself. I called and was on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up. So before I traveled to Park Heights I just stopped in the Taylor Ave location which is a 3 minute drive from Target. They had the medicine in stock and had to call the prescribing doctor and ask for a new prescription because they were unable to pull the prescription from the system because Target CVS wouldn’t forward it.

I've been using this pharmacy for years. I'm talking before the new team/management took over. It used to be effecient but ever since the current team/management took over its been downhill ever since.Apparently they can't update their automated system (that calls you to tell you your non existent prescription is ready for pickup). They can't go into your patient profile to make a note that you want prescriptions you take TOGETHER to be filled TOGETHER to avoid making 2 seperate trips just a week or 2 apart. If you show up when they said your prescription will be ready, you may still have to wait an additional 20+ minutes for them to fill it. And lastly, as everyone said, you're better off talking to yourself than trying to reach them by phone. Speaking as a pharm tech myself, I'm thinking they're short staffed, overworked and annoyed with the phone which is why theres a slim chance you'll get an answer. Everytime I'm there, I see a pharmacist and maybe 2 to 3 techs. One evening I only saw one tech back there fighting for his tech life. Techs aren't even supposed to be in the pharmacy without a pharmacist.Before this managment took over there used to be maybe 1 to 2 pharmacists plus 3 to 5 techs some nights/days. They worked like a well oiled machine. But now...they stall like dial up. Go somewhere else.

I sat on hold for over 25 minutes before anyone even picked up the phone, then was immediately put back on hold for another 5. Just to fill a prescription!!!!!! If you cant answer the phone for over 30 minutes...there is something wrong.EDIT! Still the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I called and refilled my prescription over the phone with the automated guy. I was informed it would b ready by Monday. I come to pick it up Monday and they filled the wrong prescription! How could you possibly do that when I entered the rx number! Then when I ask about the prescription I actually needed they tell me I'm out of refills. Dont you think that's something you should have called and told me?!?!? Changing pharmacy's ASAP.DO NOT COME HERE!!!!

The service here is hit or miss. When it's a hit I don't have to wait and can pick up my prescription immediately. But sometimes...I had a credit card that would not work in their machine. They said they could not manually enter the card number from their end on the register. The cashier did have me try the other machine to see if that would work but I could tell from her face that she really just did not care. Additionally, I have had a run around on the same prescription twice in a row. They say my prescription is being filled and will be ready by a certain time. When I go to pick it up they tell me they don't have the meds in stock and I have to go to another CVS a couple of miles to pick it up. It's not a huge hassle but it's a hassle and it's poor communication. It's sad that pharmacies don't have more of an imperative to provide excellent customer service but the reality that I have found is that most pharmacies have little to no CS.

Can’t give any less than 1 star, because google reviews doesn’t allow LOWER! Tried calling multiple times and got placed on hold 3 times and each time it takes 6 minutes. How about you wait for the caller to say yes “I’ll hold’’ or ‘’OK’’ or ‘’that’s fine’’!!!Was just trying to ask a question to see if my medicine is in stock before I have my doctor call in my prescription all cvs locations! And keep getting told location closed, or they don’t have the medicine in stock, or ( pharmacy didn’t have anyone working today, so they didn’t open! )CVS corporate: poor service overall! Not sure why my insurance made this deal with cvs but it’s definitely a lost deal, I’d rather pay out of pocket than this humiliation!!

They do not pick up the phone. At all. Never. I understand that they are understaffed & are probably over whelmed, but please at least answer the phone. Whenever I have an issue with a prescription or a question, I have to drive to the pharmacy and ask in person since they do not answer the phone.

This is the most annoying pharmacy I have ever encountered. No one answers the phone. I can be in line and hear the intercom phone announce how many calls are waiting and no one behind the counter picks up the phone. The prescriptions are never ready when you need them. Always an issue. Wish my mother’s insurance covered another pharmacy. Awful service 😡😡😡😡

I understand about the pandemic, and employee shortages, but avoid this CVS at all costs, unless you like long wait times and being really frustrated. They never answer their phone (no exaggeration). They take way too long to fill prescriptions. The automated text prescription renewal does not work. It is a complete fustercluck.

Go at your own risk.They do not pick up the phone and they’re always behind! They’re always “still working on it”… even days later.. The pharmacy itself looks disorganized and mismanaged. With the way they claim to be so busy, I wouldn’t be surprised if there has been medication mix ups or one soon to happen. Shut this place down or hire more staff.

Don't go here. Just go literally anywhere else.They only fill prescriptions if you physically drop them off. If your doctor sends a prescription over, they won't fill it until you physically show up to the counter, then it takes them a half an hour. Also, they don't answer the phone, so don't bother trying to call them.

The customer service is slow even though there's always multiple people back there. It's disorganized and there's a much longer wait IF you get your prescription at all. It's a week after my prescription was put in and all I've been able to get is a partial of five pills out of thirty. I had to ask my doctor to change the pick-up location. Definitely miss the old pharmacy.

Going to this pharmacy is a test to my patience, which I don't have much. I was in line for 1 hour to get told that it wasn't ready even though it was supposed to. They opened about 3 different accounts on my name making it even harder to figure out where my prescriptions were. Never going back. Walmart around the corner is WAY more efficient.

We switched all our family scrips to this CVS/Target pharmacy because we had so many problems with a particular pharmacist at Safeway pharmacy. We have found the staff to be courteous, efficient, and thorough. There can be longer lines at busy times but they are efficient and tends to move quickly!

Worst pharmacy ever. The girl that picked up the phone is beyond rude and placed me on hold for 50 minutes. This is PATIENT MEDICATION AND TREATMENT THEY ARE LITERALLY PLAYING WITH HERE. I have YET to get in touch over my prescription, and am immediately placed on hold. This place needs to be shut down immediately!!!!!! It is no use to patients!!!

This is an absolutely horrible pharmacy. We pick up my dog's phenobarbital here. We have it on automatic refill, which should have been yesterday. To make things worse, I actually asked for it to be refilled on Friday (manually made the request over the phone). So, at the earliest, it should've been ready Friday at 6pm. At the latest, yesterday morning. Today, it was not ready when I presented to pick it up.This is completely unacceptable. I don't know what the cause was. It does appear to be grossly understaffed.I would love to provide formal, direct feedback, but there is no clear way to do so.

Something has really gone wrong here in the past few months. They are wildly inefficient and take FOREVER to fill prescriptions now. Moreover, as some else said in their review, they literally do not answer the phone. I've been on hold numerous times, including 42 minutes today, with no answer. I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere.

I have been dealing with a asian girl at the pharamacy who has been losing my asthmatic childs prescriptions. This is the 6th time in the past six months. My daughter is 3 and has servere asthma and pnemonia and lost her paper prescription I dropped off earlier that day and admitted to losing it and called the hospital my daughter was at asking them to send a new one. They said they cannot reopen a chart and refill the same thing once a charts closed. Watching my daughter cough herself into a asthma attack and she started started staring at the walls saying she was looking for her prescription. What is looking at a wall of pill bottles going to do? I had to have my daughters doctor call them and give them the prescription number and now my daughter has to go without a nebulizer treatment until it gets filled later tonight when the doctor is done doing its rounds and can go into a new chart and resend her prescriptions. I told them to look at the cameras to see if they could see where they lost my daughters paper prescription. Well their manager wasnt their and they arent allowed to look at the camera without the manager. I will never use this pharmacy again. 6 months in a row having monthly issues with the same pharmacy tech? No thank you.

Why isn't there an option for zero stars?? We went in for some OTC medications last night. We grabbed a few microwave dinners and a broom as well. We went to the pharmacy counter to check out and the technician refused to ring us up even though there wasn't anyone in line. He said we had too much stuff. We had 6 items! He said he would only ring up 5 so my husband to one of the microwave dinners back to the freezer. He rung up the bottle zquil and it rung up 7.99. I politely told him that the sign said 5.99. He told me "oh well, that's a Target item. It is what it is." I could not understand why he was being so rude and reluctant to help us.

The people at this CVS/Target have always been very helpful. They go out of there way to help me as I have a diabetic dog, it’s expensive and they always help in finding coupons and supplies, at the lowest possible price. Plus they are always nice. It’s hard when you get purchased by a rival company and you get a new employer thrusted in you. Give them a little space the are great people.

CVS pharmacy sucks, bring back Target pharmacy! I went to pick up my medication like every month, when I get there for pick up they tell me my medication is $570?! I said no its $1.. They argued with me until I got a manager to run my insurance again and wouldnt ya know it, i owe $1 like I told them over and over again... Never had this problem with Target pharmacy EVERRRRR
