Very pleased with service. Got lot different lunch meat. The young gentleman that waited on me was extra nice. Usually when I get lot different lunch meat other's don't seem to want slice more than 2 without acting like I'm bothering them. Want to say again how pleased I was.

Super clean grocery store with a wide variety of everyday items and hard to find items. Store is well laid out and stocked. Easy to navigate the aisles and find what you are looking for.The produce is beautiful and very fresh. The deli and meat departments are awesome and have great prices.The staff is super friendly and very helpful.

Went to get essentials for my family and was shocked at the price gouging. 1gallon of whole milk for $4.80 when I can get it at several other stores the next town over for a range of $2.76- $3.39 per gallon. Other essential foods were priced much higher as well. Sale prices on canned veggies were $1 per can when the next town over I can get the same size canned veggies for their regular price at $0.63 per can. Kennies is doing extreme price gouging in my opinion.

This place is awesome. Some of the prices are a bit high. But the service, the respect, the friendliness n the music are fabulous. They had just packed up the salad bar. That's my main reason for driving all that way. The guy brought out the racks n even held the stuff for me. Also, the young guy with the pretty hair that was behind the service desk, you're fab.

What a great store you have. The workers definitely go above and beyond. There were no more premade Italian cold cuts left. I asked at the lunchmeat counter if they were putting more out. The young man said I'll be happy to make one for you. WOW. He did and it was delicious.Then as I was heading out I stopped at the customer service desk to ask a question and that young man was also very accommodating.Thank you for a great experience.

This is a good store good product lots of very fresh produce, seafood, meat even a great salad bar and hot bar but there prices are higher than other places in the are offering the same items. But still is a good store for some things that can't be found other places

Today was my first visit. I live 30 minutes away but made the trip because the folks at Kennie's were gracious enough to place a special order for an item they don't normally carry. I can't thank them enough.The store is clean, brightly lit and everything looks so fresh!The staff is friendly and helped me locate items and answered all my questions. I want to thank Lisa especially. Also the woman in the Bakery was incredibly helpful!I worked retail grocery for 8 years in Front End management as well as Frozen and Health and Beauty so I know the rigors of the job.I will definitely be shopping here! The Deli, Meat Department all looked great! Can't wait to go back!

Hot Food Bar is Ok but fried chicken is great, But it does seem like maybe it’s somebody different making the chicken some days, then they put too much salt in it or make it differently so it’s not always the same.And I’m very upset because I always drove 30 minutes there to get the vanilla dirt pudding, sometimes the chocolate or peanut butter dirt pudding, that they had in the deli case along with several other things.And they just stopped making Dirt Pudding out of nowhere and when I called they said they don’t know when they’re going to have it again, if they’re even going to have it again. I’m very upset, because it was really really good! Also I’ve noticed that a lot of deli case items are only temporary, I made several trips there to get it and now all of a sudden it’s gone, so if you go to the deli case to get certain things just know that it may not be there again!If it’s something you really like, you may not be able to have it again.

Nicer than the Littlestown branch. Cleaner, better stocked and more variety of products. Helpful staff that asked if I need help locating what I needed. Update: 5/25/2023. Staff incredibly friendly and the store is cleaner than most others.

Not buying any more hot bar food from Kennies. More than once the deli employees empty out / have given us old fries and chicken so they can make room for fresh. This time it made us sick. Tastes great when fresh but not chancing it any more.

While it seems like a decent shopping establishment. Prices are higher, quality of products are equal to other stores so there is no need to gouche the pocket book of your customers. Overall the store is clean and the employees are kind, but; there is just an over all unwelcoming vibe you get. Maybe it's the lighting, maybe it's the layout of the store, who can say for sure. This is just my experience.

Use to love going to shopping for grocery here. But the prices have gotten extremely high. So we have to do our shopping elsewhere despite living in town. Would come back if prices come down.

This is our main market. Clean, well stocked, very good quality meats and seafood. We judge a grocery store by their produce department! Kennie's produce department may not have a huge variety, but they keep it very tidy and clean. Recently they have introduced new items like Sumo oranges and fresh Oyster Mushrooms! We love to try new fruit and vegetables and it's a treat to see new items every week.Cons...The Kennie's Card is an annoyance. I understand the company needs the info to track buying trends within it's customer base. But when there are 2 sets of prices, with and without your Kennies card? Annoying.Also, the parking lot in Taneytown was designed by an idiot. The steep slope guarantees runaway shopping carts crashing into parked cars. You need to be careful unloading your cart as no matter how hard you try, your cart wants to roll away. I've seen so many people go running after their carts! Nothing to be done about it now, though. Just need to be aware.

The staff there are great and are super friendly. They are pricey on some things. Rated them four stars because the prepared foods look delicious BUT every single time I have purchased them they are dry and overcooked. Even the chicken- both rotisserie and fried.

Love their steamed crabs. Small and Mediums were big and filled with meat. Got half a bushel and not a bad one. Better than some restaurants in the area. Will definitely buy from again!!

8 out of 10 times when I go to Kennies, they are out of sanitizing wipes (to use on the grocery cart handles) at the front entrance. Yesterday, I brought it to the attention of a cashier and bagger, and got met with blank expressions. The cashier then asks me, "Okay, so WHERE are they located?" She is an employee and is not even aware they have these! Who TRAINS these people? So, she sent the bagger to a customer service rep, who also looked bewildered at the request. After looking half-heartedly in some nearby boxes near her, she sent the bagger to the back to check on them. I gave up waiting for them and just shopped, but I wasn't happy. As I was leaving the store 25 minutes later, I noticed that the wipes had STILL not been replenished.This is a health issue. COVID is still very much out there, and it would be appreciated if these sanitizing wipes were always available.

Always clean and the staff is friendly. A good selection on the hot bar at lunch and always a sub/sandwich special as well. Good alternative to the limited local selection for a quick meal. And the groceries specials are good as well.

Great for quick shopping trips. Sumptuous looking deli delicacies all made in store, fresh. Lots of specials on different food items each week. Friendly attendants. Conveniently has a pharmacy attached. Really cool community experience. Lots of free parking space.

I used to give this store a 5 star, until the last few visits (11/17- 4/30/2018 a total of 8 visits)... poor customer service in the deli, fried chicken dried out, employees in the way in cold food isles like I ( the customer) is in there way!!! Employees are just rude on average! Most seem stoned on something, I think they need to enforce drug testing..... I think this was the last straw, moving on to food lion or even driving to Westminster for better service.

Meat display case definitely needs a good cleaning, I watched the chicken drip into the other meats and when I said something to somebody it was just kind of like no big deal. I don't like food poisoning or contamination won't be going back there
