They don't take into consideration that insurance companies and doctors are the actual hold up in these matters.

This is the worst place to manage prescriptions. They never have the medications on time, and when is time to picking up a medication they always have the excuse that they don't have anything on record or system. The staff has a lot to learn about customer service, it seems they hate their job in that place.

I should have read reviews before I came here for my prescriptions. I’ve used cvs for years in other states and in eldersburg/Sykesville before moving to Tanneytown. This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Thank goodness I checked online and had the information ready to go before I got to the drive through. They had my prescription ready but this cvs had also sent it to another pharmacy?? My dr had put my prescription in to this cvs before I had even left the office so I know it was submitted correctly. I gave them my name and dob several times and they just stared at the screen like they had no idea how to find it. They shuffled around and told me they didn’t have it. I had to hand them my phone showing it was filled and magically 3 seconds later they had it in hand. But then it took forever for the pharmacist to come over and said “you DO know how to take this?” And after I said I did they grunted and walked off. This was an easy grab and go prescription pick up that took over 20 minutes. I’ll be looking for a new pharmacy next time I need a refill. Usually I would give a place another chance as everyone had bad days, but based on other reviews this is a constant problem and with a newborn I need places that I can trust for easy transactions. Please send help to to this location.

Wanted to give a shout-out to the employees of the Photo Department. I am working on a collage project that required over 2k photos printed (not all at once but multiple orders and visits) and wanted to thank the Photo team for their excellent service! Photo orders were quickly printed and not one issue with all the photos. Kudos to you all! 👍

There’s honestly no reason why the pharmacy staff has to be so hateful towards the customers. I really hope something changes with the management on disciplining the employees. No other cvs, or pharmacy, I’ve been to has been this horrible.

I dropped of a prescription at 11:30 AM I told them my doctor wanted me to take it six times that day so I needed it quickly if that was going to be possible. They said okay, we'll get you put on the wait list to make it faster and that i would be notified as soon as it was ready. When I hadn’t heard from them two hours later I checked online and saw that it was ready and it was also expensive. I called to see if they had a generic and they said they’d contact my doctor. I said okay great and reminded them about the six doses I was supposed to take that day. They said they’d call the doctor. An hour later I called my doctor who hadn’t heard from them but said he’d call them right away and get a different prescription ordered. An hour later I called CVS because I didn’t see the new prescription on my account online. They said they had heard from my doctor and they’d have it ready in an hour. Two hours later I had to call back and ask them where my prescription is. Magically it was finally ready for pick up. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with this CVS not notifying me that my prescriptions were ready for pick up and taking all day to fill something. I’ll be going to Walgreens in Westminster from now on

Everytime my meds are due to be refilled they say they have to order them keep in mind my meds are due every 3 months have been for years but this last year it's never available

I called to make sure my prescription was ready and of course it wasn’t so he said give them 10-20 minutes. I drove up from about 15 minutes away after waiting 15 minutes and they had not even started it. After waiting another 55minutes I went up to see where it was. They then tell me they still haven’t started it yet. I or course almost lost my cool but politely said “I’ve been here for an hour!” He stupidly just looks at me like I’m nothing.

The cashier at the front counter named, Casey, needs to take a hospitality course. Very nasty and snippy. For instance, she would say, " Well, if you would give me your CVS card, I can give you your discounts!". I hadn't even got it out of my pocket yet to show it to her. While she was standing there puffing and stomping her feet. Even before I got to the checkout counter, she yelled, "You ready yet? Or not!". I've been a customer of this CVS and it's really gotten bad. I may end up going to Westminsters Walgreens.

If I could, I'd give this place a -5 star. My doctor ordered a 9 month supply, 3 months ago. So, I called in at 11, for them to get ?my refill ready, and came in at 4:30, they said my doctor just called?! Umm that's a big lie!! The pharmacist just makes excuses and is SO RUDE!! I'm NEVER coming back.

By far one of the worst cvs's im not a fan of any of them. But they tell me they can't fill a prescription to come pick up the paper and then when i get there to pick it up im told they can't find it ummm. Really

The associates in the pharmacy department are very rude and extremely unprofessional. The girl Katelyn is the rudest associate. Made jokes about me and my child while we are sitting in our car thinking we can’t hear her. Refused to tell us when we can pick up our prescription and got mad when we had to pick up a paper for my child’s doctor. Not someone who should be working with the public.

I was visiting from out of town and ordered a prescription on Thursday morning transferred from my primary pharmacy in Vermont. I was then told that they didn’t have the medication but it would be in Friday morning’s order and ready by Friday evening. With no word from the pharmacy by then, my mom stopped to ask them about it, and they said it was backordered and would be in on Saturday. Called on Saturday to be told it would be ready Monday. Leaving to go back to VT tomorrow without my prescription. Very disappointed in the service and the lack of communication. I could’ve had the opportunity to get it from another pharmacy had I know. 0 stars.

I just waited in line to pick up a prescription for 15 minutes. I got to the window at exactly 6pm only to be told that the pharmacy closes at 6 and I’ll need to come back tomorrow.

I stood in the drop off line for nearly 10 minutes. Is it because I'm woman of color? One of the employees looked my way twice and still proceeded to help someone else. I had to say "HELLO,,can I get some service" Then to be told "I didn't see you"... Soo out of the 4 of the employees that was working, not one off yall didnt expect anyone to be standing there to drop off a prescription??🤔

I have never had a problem at the Taneytown CVS. In fact, I hated CVS until I moved to Taneytown. This is the first location that I've liked. I have lived here for 15 years and won't go anywhere else for my prescriptions, and I love that they have a drive-thru!

4 hours to fill 3 perscriptions, they need someone with knowledge, of filling meds, also the only person there for a covid shot, but yet i still need a appointment, this place is the lamest pharmacy, i have ever been to

Horrible customer service and possibly a pill mill. The night pharmacist literally won’t fill prescriptions if insurance doesn’t cover them. Or if you don’t have insurance. Totally illegal
