The store is a nice location is it parking lot in the mall strip area. Walking in the store it smells nice, is brightly lit, and fairly organized. The bathrooms are clean. The fitting room was neat, the lady at the desk was very kind and helpful. The clothes and merchandise pricing along with quality name brand clothes is extremely affordable and their clearance racks are clearly marked. I do recommend this location they also have men's wear and children. Lots of good deals.

I usually love this store and like the selection but I had a terrible, TERRIBLE return experience. I was purchasing gifts for a family based on a wish list spreadsheet that a charity had provided for donors. I was looking at the wrong list and accidentally purchased the wrong items. When I went to return the incorrect items, “T” (the sales person or manager) ridiculed me the entire time. First he claimed to not speak English and kept the joke running for a solid minute. Then gave me grief about having the wrong list. It was an honest mistake. Then joked that my total refund was $3 when it was more. Sir, read the room and stop making people feel bad for returning items. I’ve worked in retail before, and I know getting returns SUCKS. But don’t take it out on the customer with passive aggressive behavior. It’s not funny and you just made someone feel shame and embarrassment during the holiday season. Gross.

I don't usually give any business 5 stars but I'm a big fan of TJMAXX. I shop this location a couple times a month. I collect socks and they always have some new ones for $3.99 a pair. I also discovered a great brand of workout gear called Skora.. so comfortable and priced around $15

For the most part this is a good location. The stock is very versatile and plentiful. The employees are always friendly and attentive to my requests and needs. It’s only missing one star because the location is not ideal. There’s high traffic and it’s always very busy. This is not their fault, but I don’t enjoy that.

They have a great men's selection. And everything is always clean and orderly. Like any discount store you'll need to shop and stop back from time to time do you find the best deals.I took off a star for a couple reasons. The children's department is really lacking. And it gets extremely busy - not their problem - but they don't staff enough cashiers to move the checkout along. I've attached a picture of the checkout line on a Saturday afternoon.But overall, this location is better than most!

This is my absolute fav place to shop! It's not like other locations. It's very clean, organized, and the staff is very friendly and courteous. And they have some of the best jewelry, makeup, and storage containers! For awesome prices! I get excited every time I'm headed to Eldersburg because I know I'll have to stop here.

Great customer service all done with a smile! Quality of merchandise all depends on what your needing and looking for. You have to go through and examine everything you may want to purchase to make sure it isn't broken or isn't falling apart!!! But that's not the employees fault!!! This just isn't at this location it's pretty much all locations, that I have visited all up and down the east coast and west coast!!I'm not crazy about the fact that they are allowed to carry, have and sell professional hair care product's in this big box store!!!It would be like me buying professional plumbing supplies from a restaurant!!!!!

Good shoe selection for the ladies, including a good number of slippers. Clothing changes with the season, so if you see something you like it's best to buy the day you're there. It might not be there tomorrow. Selections and inventory change all the time, so if you don't find what you're looking for, check back in a few weeks to set what has changed.

I'm pretty bothered at this point with how many times I've left this store with a purchase, only to have the item rip/tear/ruined after a matter of only 1-3 washes! I have a pair of joggers, athletic leggings (2), and overalls that have all fallen apart at the seams. I don't know what the deal is, but I'm questioning the actual quality of the clothing here. Don't get me wrong, great prices all around usually, but I didn't appreciate not being able to get ANY money back for it. I don't know why I even bother getting stuff from here--who knows if it'll even make it through the week!I'd like some kind of reimbursement.

Good store - not as large as the one near my home but I always find something to buy. The staff is very friendly here, moreso than the one near my home. So, overall, no complaints. I enjoy going to this store. I could do without the pressure to use my TJ Maxx card as I just dont want to use it anymore and the cashiers really push this allegedly bc of the rewards. I wish they would just let it go after asking once - that's my only issue - but I'm sure it's something that management and/or corporate requires them to do. Anyway, I'll continue to shop here nonetheless bc of the good prices & merchandise, and friendly people. I do like the store overall.

This store is ran by AWFUL people! The greeters refuse to greet African Americans. And the sales associate and manager aren’t friendly either. Very hostile environment. I do not think it’s safe for African Americans to shop here.

So i went in thr 2 times and both times i found good stuff but the service and atmosphere is horrible on a thousand.to reiterate what i mean is they clearly dont like colored folk in thr each time i spent over 100 dollars and i was followed around the store constantly....that erks me because im a huge can of tjmax and once worked in a tjmax in nyc.my thoughts on spending money there as follows,you will find things in there if you look around for a while but you will feel uncomfortable because the customer service sucks.i doubt i will go in there a third time.

I understand loss prevention and being in an area where the tweakers are REAL... but don’t follow me around the store and report my every movement through your headset and then pass me off to the next associate and have them do the same like you’re on some sort of recon mission all because I really loved the jacket I was about to buy and didn’t want to take it off just yet. And to make matters worse... as soon as I took the jacket off, placed it on the counter, and PAID for it I didn’t even get my shit together or let Dontae pay for his stuff before the cashier was reporting into her headset “CRISIS AVERTED” — who the hell taught y’all customer service or how to be decent human beings! I fully understand that this is not a reflection on TJMaxx but I’ve had better shopping experiences I worse places. Shame on you.

Maybe it's just me. I attempted to make a jewelry purchase again tonight at an unstaffed jewelry counter. After circling the counter a few times and milling around for about ten minutes, I didn't get a single "Can I help you, sir?" The same thing happened last year around the holidays, but for some reason, I went back to try my luck again tonight. I definitely won't be wasting my time in there again. There's a Kohls just up the way, and they're a bit more attentive to potential customers. It's a damn shame that I walked out knowing that I always get treated better at AMAZON.
