One of the best dinners we have had in a long time! We got our meals to-go. Ordered the crab cake dinner that came with sun-dried tomato risotto and asparagus. Everything was cooked perfectly! The crab cake is AWESOME!!! Hands down, the best crab cake we’ve eaten. We had side chopped salads that came with this delicious blue cheese dressing and a side order of cheddar mashed potatoes that were also divine. The entire dinner was perfect!

On Tuesday when Ben Connelly sings the locals all know and pack the place so go early or you may not have a seat. Food is first class and the menu changes from week to week. The walls are decorated with beautiful artwork. The waitress remembers what you drink and brings you one.This place is a model of how a classy restaurant should operate and the locals are friendly and charming.

Stopped in for lunch with my friend yesterday. We were seated right away, even though they were quite busy. We both ordered their curry chicken salad sandwich. I had the potato salad side. Both were delicious, and the service was great. I didn't get dessert but I have had some of their Creme Brulee in the past, and it's fantastic. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! The corn and crab hush puppies were so unusually unique and delicious! The goat cheese cheesecake with roasted red peppers was yummy! I had shrimp fettuccine and the flavors were outstanding. I can’t wait to come back to visit with my family and stop here again! Thank you for the delicious meal!!! Side note…the cosmopolitan was equally wonderful! Also last but certainly not least…the service was perfect. Oh dessert! We enjoyed 3 offerings and left so full that I could barely move. Definitely worth the prices and trip!

Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to begin. Love the atmosphere small and comfortable. The service was perfect always kept our drinks full, removed the dirty dishes immediately and was very helpful. Now to get to the food... Trying to put the pictures in order with what it was but it doesn't want to work out. So here you go this is the list of food that we had.Napoleon,Savory Walnut Crust Cheesecake,Jumbo Lump Crab Risotto,Chopped Salad,CD Chicken,Flourless Chocolate Lava Cake. So as you can see we had quite a bit. It was a perfect way to sample so many items. Three of them were appetizers then got a salad so we could have the amazing lava cake. It's really hard to pick a favorite. My suggestion is try a little bit of it all You can't go wrong. I cannot brag about this place enough. Definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to.

Business brings us to the area several times a year, so we have eaten in a number of the local restaurants. Be forewarned, I'am a harsh critic. This is our first time at CD because we believed the menu is rather limited after reviewing it on our previous trips.  It was a late sunday evening and the restaurant choices were approaching zero. So we ended up here, I had the shrimp fettuccine, which I will most likely not order next time, but it actually had real flavor, it was not boring, it was not "spicy", but you knew you were eating a dish that the chef wanted you to enjoy. We all sampled each others dishes and all of them had real flavor.  It is as if the chef actually tasted their dishes and made adjustments to insure their guests really enjoy eating.  Both the service and prices were typical for the area, but the experience of eating was anything but typical. Everytime we are back in the area, I assure you, we will be dinning at CD.  I truly hope our experience this time is their routine, not just a one off that the stars aligned, etc.

Really good food (the soup of the day was amazing) and friendly staff. They have a decently good gluten free selection (better selection for dinner than lunch). The mixed drinks are always good. Small and intimate setting. I've never had a bad experience there!Dietary restrictions: Ingredients clearly labeled, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc. all labeled on menu.

OBSESSED doesn’t even begin to describe it, we went to the CD cafe for dinner and were so blown away that we returned the next day! This is now our favorite restaurant! Look no further, this is it! We are huge foodies and we found some of the most delicious dishes we have ever tried here. The cuisine is out of this world creative and elevated! The blend of ingredients, spices, and flavors is total excellence! We commend the chef for his passion and dedication, it definitely shows and translates to the food! One of our favorites appetizers was the savory cheesecake, so unexpected, hearty and delicious - a must try!. We also tried the scallops BBT and the crab risotto, both excellent! We also loved the Bangkok Scallops Entree which has the most delicious coconut curry sauce with shrimp stir fry and jasmine rice, could not get enough. We also had the chef’s special Mahi mahi and have to say that it is amongst one of the best fish dishes we have ever tried! I wish the chef could bottle the sauces used on that dish because I need them in my life stat!! 🤣. To the Chef, Owner, and the staff thank you for such amazing food and service!!! We will be back soon!

The food here was really great! The service was amazing! We were lucky and managed to get seats right away after arriving - it clearly was a happening spot bc the place was booming and as quick as tables were cleaned and cleared there were new people being sat. I ordered a burger that was amazing they partied and seasoned it excellent and my spouse ordered a seafood dish which was also incredible!

OMG! Every time we eat dinner here it's amazing! Every last bite! You get full and keep eating just because you want to keep enjoying the wonderful flavor! It's so good I wanted to lick the plate, but remembered that we were in public!!! Ugh. All that goodness to be left for the sink drain.

Cozy atmosphere, although I did not get to see the entire restaurant, i am told there are 2 dining areas. I'm not sure it can handle more than 4 in a group comfortably. The food was delightful and fresh. I ordered the Seafood Nachos. The chips in the nachos are house made, and there was plenty of shrimp and crab. This was an appetizer and was $18. I would definitely order this again.

From out of town.....been here twice now. First time was good and cheaper(still not "WOW GOOD!") Just went tonight, awkward from the start. Overall, strange combinations, or extremely outdated. I had the shrimp fettuccine, I'd say almost half quart of sauce.....swimming. I respect the no salt and pepper on the tables, unfortunately, you need it. Won't go back. Save your money and choose elsewhere.

There was a small piece of plastic in the appetizer, yuck. Otherwise, the food was delicious. It seems like they may be understaffed because the food took ages to come out and waitstaff/bartenders had too many tables to make it a good dining experience. Also, they don’t seem to follow the “specials” advertised next to the bar in terms of pricing. In my opinion, the experience was not worth the price.

The CD CAFE, where do I begin.From the best food and drinks to Kara and staff who are so professional, friendly and serve up excellent customer service, I love this place. The Pad Thai was so filling, I couldn’t eat it all. The black bean soup was rich and delicious. The curry chicken salad and potato salad was more enjoyable the next day. I tied everything together with my Bourbon Bramblin libation and by the time dessert of lemon raspberry cake and bourbon creme brûlée was served, I just smiled. I strongly recommend going and wear comfortable loose clothes. You’ll be happy you did.

My absolute favorite place to dine on Solomons Island! Their food, service, and hospitality is top notch. Chefs will come out on occasion and speak...I love that interaction. My wife and I attend their monthly sample menu every third Monday. I highly recommend getting on that waiting list. Pleanty of spacious parking. I would give more than 5 stars if possible.

I’ve driven by this restaurant a few times and they always seem to be busy. The menu looked appealing and I finally chose a rainy winter night to try them out. I can not express how amazing their food is. Flavor profiles must be coming from heaven because I thought I would cry a few times while chewing…the food is so good. My fiancé and I split the Napoleon as an appetizer, swapped entrees (monkfish special and the Panko encrusted salmon) mid-meal and we were impressed with both. We wrapped our meal up with the flourless chocolate lava cake. Did I already say their food is amazing? Later in the week I had a bit of chocolate cake I was ashamed of tasting because it was not on the level as the CD Cafe’s lava cake. To ease my pain my fiancé suggested I order take out and I happily obliged. This time I ordered the Pan Seared Beef Tenderloin Filet and Center Cut Frenched Pork Ribeye and again more delicious tears courtesy of my taste buds. I went on a long walk so I could reward myself with my lava cake. I will continue to visit this restaurant until I’ve tasted the entire menu and I’m sure I’ll have that covered in the next few months.

We experienced delays in receiving our butterscotch soup, which arrived lukewarm and tasted like pumpkin pie. Despite specifying no pork and requesting a chopped salad without onions, the initial salad had chopped pork and onions. Although hungry, we hesitated to request another change. My daughter's chicken dish featured undercooked rice and overly seasoned chicken, with only the asparagus being enjoyable. Despite our dissatisfaction and the uneaten chicken, we were charged and denied a waiver when we sought resolution. Feeling extremely disappointed, I won't be returning to CD Caffe.

Probably the most consistently wonderful dining experiences in Solomons. Their go-to items, especially the Mediterranean pasta, are always top notch and their specials are always delicious and creative. Your taste buds are definitely not bored here. This is also a place you definitely want to leave room for dessert. They have some recurring desserts like key lime pie, chocolate lava cake, and their creme brulees which are spectacular. The best 2 creme brulee I've ever had have come from this place, a petite blueberry and an Oreo version. If there's one place in the island you can grab dinner, this is the best place to go.

Very European vibe. Small venu with great food and wine. Bar "Next Door " with same menu but more bar centric.Great menu, not overdone or over "saucy"Salmon was superb. Scallops appetizer was terrific. Wine selection was good.Split our entree on separate plates... ample portions.Superb service... owner was on the floor serving, which really makes things happen.Highly recommend!
