I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Gull Cottage located in Spring Cove Marina. We spent 4 nights and explored the marina and surrounding area. The home is very clean, beautifully decorated and tons of space to spread out. There are a lot of large windows to enjoy the views. The marina grounds are very well kept. There is a large swimming pool and bar that has entertainment. They have a cute store with souvenirs, food and necessities. Everyone we met were so courteous and helpful. The surrounding area has museums, shops and great restaurants. We hope to go back very soon!

I found a wonderful marina and then bought a great boat! Spring Cove Marina is my home away from home. From the beauty of the location, to the entire staff, members and crew- it is all the best in class. I am a novice boater and everyone has been fantastic at helping me "learn the ropes" C.J. and his team in the boatyard are amazing. Always helpful and so nice. The Richards family runs a "tight ship" and Liz, Trevor, Will and Jess make sure all feel welcome- even dogs and teenagers!! Cannot imagine docking my boat anywhere else.

Good communication during our haul out. This is my only experience at this boat yard (haven't been to the marina). The property (buildings, facilities, vehicles, equipment) all seemed older, but very well kept.

Under the old ownership this marina use to be such a good family place. Sad to say we went back a few times and it’s gone down hill hugely with the new owners. It seems like he just wants it to be a frat party place where all you do is drink and pay for over priced drinks at the bar. Not the Spring cove we fell in love with years ago. Not to mention the dock are some of the worst I’ve seen and power is 50/50. Would not recommend for family’s anymore.

Just left the marina. We had a great time this weekend with friends. We had 2 boats on B dock. The employees and owner were very helpful and quick to accommodate our requests for shuttle/ golf cart rides, bikes usage and docking and gas help. The pool and bar, grilling areas and bathroom are very well maintained and very relaxing with cool music playing in background. Only think I would say needs some improvement is the food quality and delivery of food. This is our 2nd year visiting and will definitely come again. Promise and Michelle outstanding employees!!!

Just in for gas and a pump out.was met at the dock and it was quick and professional. Again this time for diesel and pump out. We were met by Nate and he was very helpful

My family had an amazing time here. We so thoroughly enjoyed the pool, bar, staff, proximity to restaurants, shuttle service, a great local concert within walking distance, really nice private facilities with showers, and of course, gorgeous views everywhere. Spring Cove Marina is a hidden gem on the Chesapeake! We were only there for one night, but hoping they have room for us this fall on our return trip to Florida! The dockhands were great and still smiling after helping us in during a t-storm. The marina is in a gorgeous, clean park setting with a beautiful pool and outside bar. The ship store was amazing, and Cindy in the office was so helpful and friendly. Great stop!

I found Spring Cove Marina in 1985 when I bought my first boat. It was a fantastic find. 39 years later and it has only gotten better. Evey year there are new amenities. From an awesome pool and pool bar to the picnic grounds with grills, it's hard to imagine a cleaner, more beautiful Marina on the bay. The staff treat you like family. The individual restrooms, and washer/dryers are great. Bicycles to borrow, boat rentals and a local shuttle help make it a destination on the Chesapeake Bay.

Marina was absolutely amazing. The amenities are best by far, the hospitality of the owners was wonderful, they go well above and beyond to make sure everyone has a smile on their face and is pleased. Overall experience I would give it 10 stars.

Nice marina to spend time. Poolside bar and large pool for your enjoyment. Short list of available food, but sufficient.Good experience. Stationary docks... if that's a problem for you then you may look elsewhere. I hear they are working on that too.

Unfortunately, Spring Cove has changed hands in the last year and it's not the place it used to be. Almost all the previous staff was let go or quit and it feels completely different. Some of the new staff was incredibly rude to our guests, bar prices are way up along with everything else, and the docks need repair.It's still a pretty spot with decent facilities. Hopefully the new owners will bring it back to the amazing friendly place it used to be.

Clean facilities. Friendly staff! Quiet and safe place to spend a couple nights. There were bikes available so it was nice to have little evening bike ride or to ride up to West Marine and get some needed supplies. The little museum is within walking distance too. We will definitely stop back here again on our way back through Solomons! Highly recommend!!

Wow! What a great marina! We have been to our fair share of marinas and this is far and away the best run operation on the East Cost. Super friendly staff and management. Immaculate facilities. The pool view is breathtaking and the atmosphere so relaxing, you lose time as the stress just floats away. Our highest recommendation!!

Rented a pontoon boat for a half day and was pleasantly surprised! The boat was as pictured and very well maintained. The Bluetooth connection to the sound system was a nice plus! We also rented a tube that they mentioned was newly purchased this season. All the staff was friendly and so helpful. We had a few questions (we are new to the area) and they happily answered all of them and provided some great local suggestions that we loved! Everything was reasonably priced and we will definitely be repeat customers. Thank you for making a birthday weekend even better than expected! Highly recommend Spring Cove Marina!

Amazing place.. The owners are amazing people. This is my absolute favorite place to be. Brad and Jose the owners are awesome people. The bar tender crystal is simply the very best. Nathan is great at helping you get into a slip. The entire staff here are wonderful folks. I love boating , grilling , movies on the lawn, hanging out at the bar.. you can do it all here. Dreams come true at spring cove Marina.. the very best in all of Maryland.

We limped in to Spring Cove Marina four years ago quite by chance as we had some prop damage. Immediately we were treated by the staff with respect, efficiency and a smile. We are still here! We love it. The park-like grounds are relaxing, well-maintained and as attractive in the Fall as they are in the high Summer with floral colour dotted throughout the gardens. The pool and bar area is a great place to hang out on a hot summer's day and the standard of the bathroom and laundry facilities is second to none. They are constantly being cleaned by the Spring Cove team who are all easily identifiable in their uniforms. We have had a number of mechanical jobs done on the boat - all of which have been more than satisfactory and cost-effective. It is with huge regret that we will leave this marina at the end of this season as we are selling our boat. It's been an absolute pleasure to be here and we would certainly highly recommend Spring Cove Marina as a stopover or even better, a home base.

The Seafarers YC of Annapolis had the opportunity to go to the Spring Cove Marina located in Solomons Island Maryland this past Memorial Day Weekend. Marina Manager Jim Pickett and his staff were most accommodating and friendly. We are looking forward to our return cruise there, we had a great time! Oh yes, the coctails at the bar were exceptional!!

Large full service marina, boatyard, dockage, tree covered shady areas, pool, marina store with large variety of offerings. One of the best marina's I've stayed at. Clean facilities with public grill cooking areas. Close ride by bike to downtown. Easy walk to maritime museum.

Spring Cove Marina has been Quetzal's home away from home for many years. It's certainly one of, if not the best marina on the Bay. The facilities, from the beautiful pool, to the cleanest heads around, to shaded picnic areas, are excellent. I have had the yard do several serious refit and repair projects, from re-powering, to removing the teak decks, to a complete paint job.. The work has been superb, and the crew always professional. Without hesitation I recommend the yard at Spring Cove to sailors looking for top quality work at a fair price in a beautiful setting.

To my fellow boaters - if you haven’t yet stayed at this marina - or had work done here, you are doing a disservice to yourself & your boat. I took my boat here to have the bottom painted in 2017 & wound up staying a week. During that time, the marina members welcomed us at the pool & tiki bar. I was so delighted with the ambience & quality of work, that I returned this past October to have the boat waxed & stabilizer winglets replaced. Both jobs were done to perfection. I never fail to get compliments on how great the boat looks. Holly will schedule your work and CJ will oversee every aspect of work done. You won’t be disappointed!
