We stayed a few days in early January 2023 on our way south. The facilities were nice and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The use of their loaner car made doing chores ashore very easy.The surrounding neighborhood was very quiet and provided a nice area to walk.Our slip provided a nice view of the harbor and it was nice to finally see other recreational boats.

The yacht center has a pool (not open yet) and appears busy with spring boat prep. The bar has some food and has a good lineup of live music.

Great marina and awesome staff (Kelsey & Nick) to work with. Very understanding and accommodating since we had to extend our stay twice - first due to an emergency dental appointment and second due to Tropical Storm Ophelia. The facilities are clean, having a friendly pub on site is nice, and easy walk to town and many restaurants.

Staff could not have been nicer. Very helpful in meeting at the dock and made inquiries on their own on my behalf on my maintenance issue. A mechanic diagnosed the problem and when I asked what I owe him he said nothing. Great people in every way.

My review is for anyone who may want to potentially work here . I interviewed with Ashley for about 45 mins was told I had the bartending position and would be text a time to come in she had to make sure her head bartender would be in to train me . So I had declined to interview with other employers because I was told I had the job . Then upon checking in with Ashley she tells me there was a misunderstanding and she had enough trainees . Super unprofessional especially at a time like this because we are in a recession the few people that do want to work actually NEED THAT MONEY . I understand why there is only one long term employee . BAD MANAGEMENT and poor judgement on behalf of management.

Unfortunately, the previous review is unfair. It is unnecessary to falsely bash a business because your contract was terminated upon arrival due to your behavior (threatening slip holders).Also,*Candice Richardson- this is why you don't work here.

Great little DOC for the day a little bit on the high end but in a high-end community. Close to a lot of services! Seem like there was a couple of strange people on the docks and of course as with all communities today politics is something that we should probably leave out of our discussions! Sometimes you just got to let people believe what they want to believe

In working with the staff. Weekend coverage Saturday and Sunday was simply amazing . The yard guys super nice. Even up sold $60 for some fuel treatment when filling up. On the other hand being informed of transient fees while requesting repairs by the same facility is a bit much. In addition charging a credit card prior to authorization is ill practice. Communication from the office to the yard was not clear. Also asked for the owner to call me and was met with the mechanic calling me instead. Unfortunately due to miscommunication I had to move my vessel to another servicer on the river. Needless to say I’d happily do business with SYC again but would be sure to shake hands and speak with in person. Facilities are good. Not super updated but nice. Dock I was on appeared to be wood floating. Water is rough and fenders are needed for sure. Bathrooms are private and attached to a bar which is great. Beer and such sold in the fuel house is a plus as well. All in all good experience. Prices are high. Cheers

First time visiting Solomons Island on our boat. Of course with a boat anything can go wrong at anytime. As we approached port engine started blowing lots of gray smoke. The girls here have gone above and beyond to help. There service has been top notch. Never experienced this level of service at any other marina. Thanks Ladies!

Extremely good service. Meet and greet, pull you in, and find a mechanic if you need one. So lucky we found this marina to stay at on our trip. They just make you feel at home and like you have somebody there looking out for you. Really good place to be.

We have a boat stored at Corinthian Yacht Club..you probably never hear of it...great club in Ridge, Maryland. Our boat has been stored there since last June. We have been trying to find someone to come out and give her a good wash and wax...for over six months!!! One guy came out...well it didn’t work out! Fellow member recommended SYC. I texted...amazing he responded and this week they came out and cleaned up our gal! We are in Michigan so doing everything long distance (with a friend a slip away). Got pictures yesterday...she looks beautiful! Clean and shiny! These guys worked hard without ownership watching. Best cleanup we have had in years. Thank you SYC. We will be doing business again. Also would recommend them to anyone!

Excellent boating destination because of the very family orientated, pet friendly environment.Convenient location for land based amenities as well as protection from inclimate seas.Top notch polite, professional management and staff that can accommodate the needs of each boater.A destination point that must be put into your charts!

I stopped here for diesel fuel. I was competently assisted in docking and provided a high speed fuel nozzle. Within a few minutes I was on my way with an additional 150 gallons of fuel at a great price.

Not recommended, for transients I will advise to avoid this marina. Depending on the wind the marina gets relatively rough, at least enough to make it tough to rest. Marina claims wifi at every slip, didn't work once out of four days, told the staff, no change. Bathrooms went three days without cleaning. Marina is in okay shape, not well kept.

Found this marina NOT to be as advertised on their website. Observed poor customer service, dirty bath/showers which were also used by drunken, loud bar/restaurant customers. The pool was also used by the drunken bar customers which did not observe safe and mandatory health COVID parameters during the summer of 2020. Lots of loud and foul language and very limited dusty parking. Picnic areas are right behind parked vehicles and dusty also. Poor internet too. I could continue however, please be aware that this is not a high caliber marina and children may be subject to lewd drunken behaviors in an unhealthy environment.

Wonderful boat yard if you need something in a pinch. Town is easy access from here and bikes are provided. Dock power is Good and the floating docks are Awesome. Hot showers are all individually set up and feel homey. Pool deck is set up with tables and chairs ready for a gathering of your friends. Propane Grills are available on the deck. Food At the bar is simple but tasty. Music is always good on weekends. Drinks are cheap and leave ya wobbling back to your boat :)Solomons is the best port on the Chesapeake. Grocery stores, hardware, and marine supply stores are easy walking distance for mariners, travelers, and visitors by sea.While you are here. 3 stops you have to make:1) island hideaway for a meal. Miss lori makes deserts by hand every morning at 3am. One of her 1 sons cuts the fish and the other makes the pasta each morning fresh. The meals never disappoint!2) Calvert marine museum. Well worth the trip. One of the only screw pile lighthouses you can tour. Incredible marine aquarium and awesome boat building display.3) tiki bar. Not the same owners as back in the day. Slightly tamer now but still pretty fun. Its a famous spot with orange crushes, the mind numbing mai tais and always live music on the weekends.

Best Yachting center around! They will fix anything wrong with you're boat. You can even eat and drink up at the pub, swim, or ride bikes around solomons while they fix it.
