Nice quaint and local boardwalk for an evening or midday stroll. There's not a ton of things to do around here, but there's a handful of restaurants, two ice cream shops, and a few other shops. Overall, it's a nice place to visit for a few hours and enjoy the ocean views. Great for a day or two visit!Playground: No playground!Restrooms: There's a public bathroomDog-friendliness: Great for dogsPicnic area: Not necessarily - but there's a few benches to sit on, and restaurants. Not really for picnicing.

Great views. Free parking. Clean and organized area. Lots of restaurants around within walking distance. Lots of places to walk and things to see. Good place to spend some time. Plenty of shops around also.Dog-friendliness: Leshed dogs are welcome on the board walk.

We have been here many times. It is more of a nice waterside walkway than a boardwalk. There is a restaurant with a couple other businesses included in the building, but most of the businesses are on the other side of the street. But for a beautiful scenic walk, with great parking, this a very nice. Plus there are plenty of places to see, or stop in for drinks or dinner just across the street.

A great nice place to have a short walk with a great sunset. Nice broad walk with some good ice cream, trust me the price of this mind melting ice creams are so inexpensive and must try.

Beautiful view of Patuxent River from Solomon Island. There is also a playground, which my children enjoyed.

Small playground for 2 to 12 year olds adjacent to a nice boardwalk about half a mile long. There is a restaurant on a pier in the middle.

Beautiful evening for a walk on the boardwalk. Lots of boats were out fishing setting an idyllic tone.Playground: Nice little playground at one end that is very kid friendly and rarely without a kid!Restrooms: Typical public restrooms ... not the best but they work just fine.Dog-friendliness: So many well behaved dogs were out and about tonight!

Beautiful views. Plenty of easy-access free parking. Seasonal paddle boat rentals available. Boardwalk is long and wide with intermittent park benches for casual viewing of the water and the bridge

Great place to stroll along the bay. There are benches along this short boardwalk and restaurants and bars across the street. You can walk along the road that loops to the point to add some distance. There's a small kids park. You can rent boats and jet skis. There are a few stores that sell clothing and souvenirs as well as an ice cream shop and a public restroom.Playground: There's a little playground for younger children.Restrooms: There are public restrooms that are fairly well maintained.

Solomons Island is a great place to just walk along the water. Not as many touristy shops as you'll find in other locations. Stopped at a shop to get some ice cream -- just was Hershey's and it was fine. For those on larger vacations, no need to spend a whole lot of time here, but it is a good place to relax.

It's so peaceful and serene. The views are beautiful and the people are nice. I never pass a person who doesn't say hello. My silly dog loves this walk as well.

If there was a choice to leave 0 stars, I would. I can call this place a waste of a day off. There is absolutely NOTHING to look at, to enjoy, to experience. No beach, no entertainment, nowhere to relax. Straight disappointment!!!

Very wonderful place for a date. I love walking up and down the boardwalk. It feels safe and has amazing views, especially at sunset. If you play Pokemon Go, there are LOADS of pokestops and wild Pokemon.

Plenty of boardwalk space to walk and enjoy the scenery. Plenty of parking spaces though it does get crowded. My kid enjoyed the playground, though it is small. And there's Ice Cream!!

Very nice boardwalk. Plenty of seating and restaurant options. Wheelchair accessible boardwalk. Water rentals and fishing. A playground is near the ice cream place, but temporarily closed during the pandemic.

Great place to spend the day, right on the water. Several restaurants are within walking distance, which is nice. The playground is amazing! My son loves to go to the playground. And if you're a Pokemon Go-er then it's a great place for you and your kids to play, with 5 pokestops right there.During the summer months there is an ice cream shop that shares the are with the playground. Great way to end a hot summer day!!! Dont take my word for it. You need to check it out!!!
