The next time you are on the island - check out Solomons Boat Rental! I promise you will be happy with your experience. We rented a boat from this establishment for two hours and were just blown away by the experience. Extremely helpful and great conversation with the entire staff. Being able to experience the area on the water was a highlight of our stay for the holiday weekend and we were so happy that we decided to rent the boat and go out on the water. The day was perfect and the staff helped to make us feel comfortable with our first time driving a boat! Thanks again. We will be back :)

We had a blast and the owner was friendly, helpful and patient with us as we had not driven a boat in a bit:-) Being on the river was lovely! We had a late afternoon trip and felt confident about the weather, as the owner was clear he would not let us go out in inclement weather or if a storm looked too close.

We rented the 19ft bow rider for 4 hours. The folks at the rental place are very friendly and help you get setup on the boat quickly. The boats are good but are old and don't have any amenities. Overall the rental price is decent but it would be nice if the boats were newer and offered better features. The river is great! We cruised up the river and went off to one of the inlets where we anchored and got in the water. The water is warm in August and great to be in. The river can get a little choppy if the winds pick up but for the most part it's a pretty calm river.

Rented a pontoon boat and loved it. We were able to seat 9 adults, some of them smaller people, comfortably. Enjoyed tubing! Sadly, they forgot that we had a reservation so we waited an hour for someone to show up, but once they got us signed in, everything went smoothly. Just call the day before to confirm. They gave us a discount for the inconvenience.

Boats are old but seem to be well kept. Got us out on the water fairly quickly. Only real complaint is that the boat didn't have any bumpers or docking lines which meant we had to get creative with the anchor line to tie up at the restaurant.

Cons-- The guy said it needs "extensive experience" to rent a boat. But when we we are about to leave, he agreed to rent to us. He did not say any thanks or have any pleasant words during the whole process. Asked twice if we can "read English". I think this is clearly off the limit. I respect the fact that people have different political opinions, but they should not put that and their prejudice ahead of the service, which is not professional at best.Pros- Price is competitive. Condition of the boat is OK.

Owners/staff are amazing and easy to work with. Called ahead and made reservation, boat was exactly what we were looking for and at a good price. Family had a blast and will rent again when we are back in the area.

We had a terrible experience. They did not allow us to rent a boat with a tube, because of some fabricated excuse. They assumed we didnt have enough experience. He just didnt want to rent it to us for a totally different reason. From the moment we arrived he acted very cold to us and started asking all different questions to find a reason why he's not comfortable with us renting a boat with a tube! We called in advance to find out if they rent tubes and he didn't mention anything about experience. We traveled all the way from baltimore for this rentel soley because they have a tube! I'm extremely frustrated, upset, annoyed and even hurt by the way he treated us!

Great time boating around the river. The rental place has bounds that you have to keep the boats in. They provide a map. No need for a boating license, they will give you a briefing and temporary permit. If you have your boating permit, then bring it.

A little dissatisfied. We were looking for a beach area where we could swim, lay out and take our dog to swim. Beach area was about the size of a "pea" compared to what we had in mind

Not responsive. Left voice messages and emails to business owner on the contact info listed on their site. No response, and their voice mail states it is full and cannot accept messages. Has been over a month. Poor management.
