Went to the Argentine appetizer eventSorry to say it was extremely disappointingThis was after the wine tasting last Wednesday which was above parThe announcement for the appetizer event stated An Argentine Happy Hour: Appetizers, Cocktails, & Wine. Which I thought indicated the drinks were included I feel like it should have stated Argentine Happy Hour, bar available for fee or simply Argentine Happy Hour and the menu The wine was overpriced at $12.00 a glass. The wine tasting was $9.00 a glass at the barThe food was not as pictured and unappetizingSorry, but this event was not what I expected from NTTC and certainly not priced correctly at $75.00 a person plus fee

Last evening at No Thyme to Cook was French/German cuisine from the Alsace-Lorraine region of France and Germany. I loved the fact that the chef used two French recipes and one German. The menu was:Quiche Lorraine (ham, swiss, bacon & tomatoes)Warmer Kartoffel Salad mit Speck (hot potato-bacon salad)Vol au Vent with Ham& Mushrooms in a Bechamel sauceTarte aux Myrtilles (blueberry tart)What a wonderful dinner and experience last night! The chef was amazing! He is so knowledgeable, friendly, and has a great sense of humor. I always take away something I didn’t know before. Last night it was how to cook the best-tasting mushrooms, make a better German potato salad, and a delicious bechamel sauce. Meghan was his assistant and she was just as fantastic!

Wow, this was quite the experience! The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. My wife and I had a wonderful date night, and learned some new recipes we can make at home. I'd recommend this to anyone in the area. Beautiful view to look at while you're cooking and eating too!

For Mother’s Day, I order a Celebration in a Box from No Thyme to Cook. Beef Wellington with side salad, crab dip appetizer, baguette, and creme brûlée dessert. The food was delivered EXACTLY on time, and came perfect temperature and packed neatly which I especially appreciated. The baguette was soft and warm. Crab dip was fantastic. Creme brûlée was top notch. The star was the Wellington... steak was fork cut tender but the pastry totally made it.Could not be happier with the meal we just feasted on. Straight up delicious.

I signed up for this class about a month in advanced. I was so excited about it. It was going to be my little Eat, love, pray weekend trip for my birthday but I came down sick the week before. I thought I’d be better by the weekend but my sore throat came back that night. The policy is you have to make the transfer to another day 48 hours before the class. I technically emailed them 46 hours. I also called the next day but no one returned my call. I went to the doctor. I had a sinus infection and even got a doctors note. When they finally got back to me they said absolutely no exceptions even though I explained to them what happened. Horrible customer service with absolutely no compassion. I understand if you want to have a rigid policy but I have a group of 8 girlfriends who love doing stuff like this. I had already suggested we do a girls day trip out to this place cause a cooking class was on their bucket list. That’s $150 x 8 = $1,200. But they’d rather keep my $150 than provide an exception that would win them new business. I won’t be rebooking my trip to this place. The way they treated me just left a bad taste in my mouth. No pun intended. I’d rather patron someplace that cares about building relationships with their customers and isn’t focus solely on taking peoples money.

I attended a wine tasting. Everyone received four tastings and a small charcuterie board. Definitely not a social event And instead an educational one. I’ll be back.

This isn't a restaurant but kind of a cooking school that will demonstrate how to make breads and pastas and a whole bunch of other cuisine. Plus the drinks are amazing

I decided to propose my girlfriend at No Thyme To Cook and it was the best decision I could’ve made! They had “heated igloos” on the water that were so awesome and unique! Donna the Event Manager is the best! She made sure the place looked perfect for us. The food and service was amazing. I could go on and on about how amazing my experience was. I highly recommend this place to everyone and I can’t wait to come back!

I wasn't sure what to expect with a private birthday party here. I was surprised how nice and enjoyable the experience was overall. A wife and husband duo works great together and adds to the experience. As Gwyn cooks, she's teaches the art of good, healthy cooking and provided tips and tricks for beginning cooks. Gwyn's husband helps to add to the experience by providing some laughs. The food was outstanding and the quality was amazing. I highly recommend. You should know that this is a private house at the end of a long driveway. It's hard to notice the driveway from the main street and its a little of an adventure to find. In the end, it's worth the effort.

We really enjoyed learning about the history of Maryland wine and spirits with food historian Joyce White. The atmosphere in Gwyn's giant, immaculate and stylish kitchen is always welcoming and fun. Gwyn and her crew created several delicious potions to match historic recipes. This is not my first visit to No Thyme To Cook and it won't be my last. Truly a warm and happy place!

My husband and I attended one of Chef Gwyn's "Couples In The Kitchen" classes. Gwyn has an amazing way of making you feel at home in her kitchen. She provided a broad range of insights on how to prepare and cook each course so you can easily duplicate the recipes at home and also sends all the recipes to you. I have already recommended her classes to several friends! It was a wonderful experience!

Gwyn's passion and love of cooking has rekindled my interest in preparing meals for my family. I've taken a few classes and every dish is delicious and I've learned new tips and tricks to make cooking fun. My son Andrew and I recently attended "Fin to Fork" and we loved learning different techniques to prepare fish, and I'll admit, I was not a lover of fish before taking the class. However, all of the recipes were delicious! Thanks for a great time Gwyn! We will be back!

Chef Gwyn is absolutely nothing short of amazing. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I booked a private lesson for my 11 year old daughter and myself, we had a blast. My daughter was able to come home and make pan seared chicken with a rustic mustard sauce, parmesan roasted potatoes and a strawberry summer salad with no help from me. I can not wait to take more classes with Chef Gwyn. If you have an opportunity to take any of her classes do not let it pass you by.

Our first visit was a success! We ordered from the food truck outside and sat on their beautiful deck sipping cocktails from their bar. The food (from "Steamers Seafood Shack" food truck) was tasty, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We will be back!

We went to the Sourdough 101 class and it was a great experience! We learned a lot about sourdough, got to sample different kinds, took home a starter to make our own, and got to watch how it's made for every step. Definitely would come back for another class.

Chef Gwyn and her staff make this such a fun place to visit. Either by taking classes or having a drink on the beach! Such a lovely time and I cannot wait to take more in person classes. Thank you again Chef Gwyn for accommodating celiac/gf needs. I was always very grateful ♡

I had a great time and learned a lot about roasting meat-- roast beef, pork tenderloin and chicken. The chef explained every little detailed and answered lots of questions with patience and humor. The meats were absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back again with my husband for a couple's date night.

My girls have taken a couple of Chef Gwyn's summer camps, she has done a birthday party for my youngest daughter and I have taken a few of her classes! Gwyn makes them fun with lots of hands on tasks to get everyone involved and the food is always super yummy!

Gwyn's knowledge of food alone gets her my 5 star rating. Aside from that she came to our gym and did a clean eating demonstration that was not only well attended but everyone left with more knowledge and a smile on their face. Gwyn is personable, professional, and oh so talented when it comes to all things food.

The team cooking and the bartender awesome group! As far as seating goes, the chairs at each station extremely uncomfortable. The food we were not thrilled about. Chicken milanese was bland and undercooked. Instead of getting a new piece of chicken my husband's was cooked for an additional 5 minutes and given back to him! Probably could have been handled differently. Likely wont be returning.

Most fun I've had cooking. Small classes allows for a personalized feel. The variety of classes offered allows you to learn about a variety of cooking skills and options for you and your family. Gwen is so much fun and the people I've met there were awesome. I highly recommend taking a class - or three!

No Thyme to Cook has been a go to place for my daughter's budding interest in the culinary arts. Gwyn has inspired her, taught her and been a fabulous coach for her during all the cooking classes and camps for junior chefs. Gwyn's expertise is not limited to preparation but exapands well into presentation, history and origins of food and essential palate pairing. Can't wait to go to class this Wednesday to make fresh pasta!
