I recently moved to the area and was in need of a new dental office. A neighbor referred me to Friendly Smiles of Solomon, a newer dental practice owned by Dr. Ashleigh Friend.From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the reception staff, who were efficient and attentive. The waiting area was clean, comfortable, and had a calming atmosphere, and was complete with bottled water and snacks. (thank you!). Once called in, I was greeted by Dr. Friend and her assistant. I was in need of X-rays and a cleaning, and was thoroughly impressed with their attention to detail and their insurance of my comfort. I was also introduced to Ginger, their little Support Dog, who is beyond adorable and kind. Overall, I cannot recommend Friendly Smiles of Solomon’s enough. Thanks to their entire office for a truly exceptional dental experience. From start to finish, Dr. Friend and her staff exceeded my expectations, and I left feeling better about the world, in general (which is awesome!).PS. I should also say that they made the transfer process from my prior dental office to theirs completely painless.

Highly recommend!! The front desk staff, dental assistant, and Dr. Friend are so knowledgeable and friendly. They made me feel right at home, and like I was in great hands. The paw-some furry support staff helped with my comfort level as well! The findings from my exam and x-rays were explained to me thoroughly, and they were able to schedule me for a filling the day after my cleaning. I look forward to coming back for my next visit!

I can't express enough how wonderful my experience has been. From the moment you step into the office, you're greeted with warmth and kindness. Plus, the emotional support dogs in the office create such a calming atmosphere, which is especially helpful for nervous patients like myself.Dr. Friend goes above and beyond to ensure that appointments run smoothly, even offering cleanings to avoid 6 month appointment wait times. They truly prioritize their patients' time and comfort, which is something I greatly appreciate. I'm impressed by their focus on essential services in treatment planning. They take the time to explain everything thoroughly and never pressure you into unnecessary treatments or products.

My daughter and I have tried several other dental service providers in the tri-county area and none compare to Friendly Smiles. They are a top-notch dental office in every way! The staff are knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. Dr. Friend is a very competent, and yes friendly dentist. She is a master of the digital work-flow. I had a new crown in no time and left there smiling again. I definitely recommend this provider over all others in the southern Maryland area.

We love this dental office! I am a patient, and so is my teenage son who happens to be on the spectrum. The front desk staff is so nice and welcoming. Dr Friend and the dental assistants are professional, kind...and gentle. My son didn't even need me to be in the room with him today. First time ever! Which is a really big deal for us.The least stressful experience I think either of us have ever had at the dentist...and the sweet office puppers Ginger-Vitis and Winston are the icing on the cake 🐶Highly recommend!

There is a wonderful team at Friendly Smiles. IMy first contact with Devin won me over when he said "we are happy to have you join our family. Dr Friend & Jessie work so well together. Amanda makes the finances so clear. It is a very relaxing environment and I would recommend it highly.

Dr. Friend is super friendly and knowledgeable. I have horrible dental anxiety and between her and the therapy dogs she has I was put at ease! Having my crown done was a breeze!! I also had a cleaning done by Kristen- very gentle and thorough. Can not recommend this office enough!!

I came in for a cleaning. I told them about my sensitive gums and my need to have them completely numbed prior to cleaning because feeling pain triggers my PTSD. But instead of actually listening to me, they went to work without using any numbing agent on me at all. Obviously, I jumped up out of my seat and stormed out of their office, swearing to never come back again. But I wrote it off as, "hey my case is complicated... I'll just chalk it up to miscommunication" and proceeded to go on with my life. Then months later I get a text message from them out of the blue wishing me a happy birthday, as if I wanted to be reminded of the traumatizing experience I had in their office on my birthday of all days. So I reminded them that I was no longer their patient and to please forward me the x-rays so I can skip that process at my next dentist. They replied with a convoluted and outdated process for releasing my records that was too much of a hassle to fill out. So I said, screw it... I'll just cut my losses and move on, thinking my saga with this stupid place was over. Until nearly a month later, they're sending me a certified letter that cost them five dollars just to tell me that I need to find another dentist because there's been a breakdown in trust. Are you effing kidding me?! How can anyone be so obtuse, tone deaf, inconsiderate, and completely lacking in any semblance of self awareness? And her last name is Friend? That's rich!

The dental assistant is very nice, making you feel right at home. If you have trouble with your dental insurance, Amanda is right there fighting for your rights. Devin is there to brighten your day along with his adorable dog. Good place to have your dental work done. ❤️❤️❤️

I've been to several dentists in the area some of the bigger franchises as well. Never once that I think I would get this much care here. All the way from the front desk to the doctor excellent service. Had a couple crowns done just like magic they had a made on site and placed. Perfect fit no problems whatsoever. I was worried about pain, I don't know why but they handled that perfectly. Compared to the other ones please gives us establishment a try. I highly recommend you won't be disappointed.

Dr. Friend is an excellent dentist and her staff are also excellent. Her practice is a modern one with great equipment—and it is very clean. Most of all, Dr. Friend and her staff are caring and competent, and they are also very careful to provide a safe experience—being careful to minimize the chance of spreading any airborne illnesses. I sincerely and objectively give Dr. Friend the highest possible recommendation.

my favorite dental office ever!! they had water, coffee, and snacks outs for people! they had toys and stuff for my little one to draw with! they were quick with my debridement and with my toddlers check up. all of the staff was so friendly AND they had the cutest little therapy dog 😊

My dental appt at this dental facility was outstanding. The staff was awesome at making me feel comfortable being at a place that i normally try to avoid. The facility was very clean and calming. I would definitely recommend them for future dental care.
