This time a few months ago it was amazing but this time (new crew...cool but NOT the same) and we were greatly disappointed...we stayed in one spot the entire time, the capt. barely communicated with us and all we were able to catch were a ton of tiny spots that no one really wanted 😒...we've been booking with this company for years...but I doubt we'll book again after this trip...😔

Had a great time fishing on here fish were small but still a good time I'm not used to doing evening fishing but it was okay the captain did everything he could to help us catch fish which was much appreciated we'll be returning to go night fishing again.

Absolutely amazing bachelorette party charter fishing trip! We nearly hit our limit fishing for rock fish within the first three hours. Uncle Gary made the trip even more memorable, he has an excellent taste in music and great stories...we had such a blast. Captain Ricky was incredible, got us out and back safely, knew the hot fishing spots and can filet fish like no other. The way they set the rods ups is amazing, everyone on our charter was able to fish and things got wild when we had four big fish coming in at once. We are already talking about our next trip!

Awesome!!! All of us onbroad had a wonderful time, we all caught our desire limit of fish. I will definitely go again. They also help you if you are disabled. Great for group fishing.

This place is temporarily closed. Go figure! The owner didn’t know how to run a business. I remember going into this place 6months ago the owner was very rude!

I really enjoyed my trip on bunkies. It was very good and we caught plenty of fish even though we were there on I believe was November 30th the day before the last big storm. I would recommend it as reasonable and it is quite comfortable. One thing with this charter. Be sure and have everything you need. They don't give you any hooks. No bait, no nothing. You have to bring all that you need.

This was my first time fishing. The captain and mate were awesome! I was reluctant to touch the fish :-) so the mate helped me out throughout the entire trip. He provided instructions on how to use the rod and hook the bait. I'd definitely book with them again.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!Some of the most incompetent staffing I have ever seen. My wife and I rented two kayaks for two hours. Standard procedure was for staff to be present at the dock to assist with getting back upon dock.When we returned, nobody was present. We called their front desk three times and nobody picked up. Finally my wife tried to get out on her own and got stuck under the dock. Had to call 911 and get fire and rescue to come.No offer of a refund, no apology; management simply didn't care.DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!

Not a fan of wasting $600 on a charter only to target one fish!!! We had a quick briefing about three different species that we were targeting before we left the dock. Sadly, we only concentrated on one fish which was cobia. We were very disappointed in mary lou. I should have went hunting instead of driving 2 hrs for nothing!!!!

By far, the best charter fishing experience I have ever had. I highly recommend Bunky's over the other charters in Solomon's. Fun and friendly staff. They take great care of everyone on board especially new comers.This trip is a MUST every summer!

I’m giving 5 stars to Bunky’s right now purely on their customer service. I am renting a jet ski for a party in August and had so many questions. I started in the store where a nice young lady got the rental started and tried to answer my questions. After I got home I thought more about the folks who would be at my party and other issues came to mind. I called the store with addt’l questions and was told that it would be best to speak with Sheila (sp?). I left my name and phone number and I was told that Sheila would contact me. She did and she was so helpful in clarifying things for me. I made a trip to Bunky’s to sign the contract, but I needed to amend the contract language to meet my specific needs (for example, none of my guests would operate Bunky’s jet ski - I didn’t want to keep track of how many drinks Uncle John or Aunt Betty had!). I needed to make sure that the change was OK with management so I needed to bother Sheila again. Unfortunately Sheila was out and wouldn’t be back for a week. The young lady gave me the email of the owner (?) and said that it would be best for me to contact him directly. I sent what turned out to be a rather long email with about 6 questions!To make a long story short, Brian responded in less than a day to my email. His responses followed each question and were highlighted to make the clarifications and responses a breeze to follow. His responses were complete, friendly and very cooperative and accommodating! So far making the arrangements for the jet ski rental has been an example of how customer service should be done!

My Group had a Blast!!! On our charter trip aboard the Boat Red Osprey with Captain Rick and first mate Uncle Gary! They put us on the fish where everybody on trip had coolers full of fish that's what you look for on a trip Awesome job!!! Thanks

It was first time on this vessel. Very reasonable price for headboat fishing and very friendly clerk at the tackle shop, only minor problem was dozen bloodworms comes in 9 but overall five star.will go back again

When my daughter was young I would take her on a fishing trip every year out of Bunky's. We always had a great time. I'd like to think it had something to do with the fact that she's now a Wildlife Biologist!

Tried to call twice during their posted hours. Wanted to rent their jet ski. No response. Showed up in person just in case they were busy, no one there. Sign says to enter but it's locked. 1 pm on a Wednesday... Sign also says they are open 6am-6pm seasonally.

Great local tackle shop. The employees really know their stuff and can point you to the fish or help you find exactly what you need. They also rent small boats, as well as run private charters and headboats for both bottom fishing and rockfish. I also just found out that the run a summer fishing camp for kids. Stop in and check it out for yourself. You wont be disappointed.

Great experience. Though they guys there told us, "go ahead and out you phone and wallet in the compartment of the jetski! Itll be fine!" It flipped... phone underwater for 30 seconds and ruined.

The guys were great. But not my kind of fishing. They fished with 21 lines placed in by staff in water and you might get a chance to touch a rod if they catch a fish.

We had fun on a brief outing but it seems like they don't care about the place anymore. It just looks run down and old. The employees were friendly but the manager or owner just seemed like he was going through the motions and had given up.

Bunky' s is good. The capt. and mate were very fine young men. We had a great day catching fish on the Patuxent River.
