It’s our second year going to mountains edge for our tree. Both years they’ve had a great selection, friendly staff and always shake it to get needles off and bugs out. They have 4 kinds of trees. We pre tagged this year which is a good walk/hike up hill if you go to the far field like us, but once they open for cutting they run tractors to carry the trees up and have a wagon for carrying people up. Definitely go check them out!

What a great place! Such a nice ride down the back roads and then easy main roads back to 70...The farm itself is so picturesque and the people are very friendly and helpful. It to mention the price is almost too low. They bail and drill the tree for you too. Bring your own straps to tie it down so you can come home with your tree still attached to your vehicle. You can buy straps at home depot. Also bring your dog!

We just finished getting our tree here for the eighth year in a row. We found the farm when we lived in Hagerstown but have since moved about 40 minutes away and refuse to go anywhere else! The family and staff are so friendly and helpful. The trees are great quality and you cannot beat the price! We love mountains edge tree farm!!

Great selection of beautiful trees! The owners were extremely friendly and chatted with us for a while when we got back from finding our beauty. Very reasonably priced also. Make sure you enjoy a cup of the hot cocoa!! Best I've ever had!! Definitely making this a tradition to get our tree from here from now on!

Great experience for our fam! Recommended by one of our friends. Called before we came to ask a few questions about pricing and tools required. Any tree for $55 and they will provide a saw and free rope. Extremely friendly staff and awesome experience. Will definitely return!

It was our first time here and we had a great experience. Everyone was so helpful and nice. We also got to meet Santa and see the elf cat. We have decided we will be coming back next year for our family tradition. Thank you for the great experience

We love it here. Beautiful property with huge selection of "cut your own" Christmas trees. We have done this for five years now as part of our post Thanksgiving day family tradition. The kids enjoy it just as much as my wife and I and is greatly satisfying. There is a little barn that has hot chocolate and cookies among other holiday novelties. I definitely recommend Mountains Edge Tree Farms.

First I want to say that the family running this tree farm was absolutely so kind and nice--I hate leaving a poor review.That being said, the trees at this farm are covered in vines and some have poison ivy growing on them (the owner very kindly gave us gloves). Also, the trees seemed like they faced a tough year (lots of dead branches) and there were not a lot of tall trees. We were looking for two 6-8 feet trees and couldn't find one in all of their selection that didn't have a ton of vines or dead areas.I'm only leaving this poor review because we drove 45+ minutes to visit this tree farm and it was really disappointing to leave without a tree. But, again, the family was so so kind and friendly. However, before you make the drive you should know what to expect.

Always beautiful, always friendly and accommodating, and we always find the MOST perfect tree! When we first moved here 7 years ago my children loved it for the adventure, now tradition, of tromping on the sunlit mountainside, picking out and sawing down their favorite tree, then heading to the barn for cookies, hot cider, hot chocolate, and happy smiles. All of that remains except today the hot chocolate and cookies are at home. The distance is minimal, the quality is superior, and the cost, above all, is always beyond reasonable. LOVE THIS PLACE💖

What a great experience for my children and me. They have a great selection of trees including some special trees like my favorite Concolors. Their service was great and a home town feel to it. We were going to another tree farm for many years but they closed down and now we know where we will be going for many more years! The view is worth going to get your tree there. We were there near sunset time and the view was incredible! Love South Mountain!

Great selection of trees, and a very friendly, helpful staff! They had samples of all the trees so you can better identify the ones out in the fields (super helpful!) and had very reasonable prices. Wish I could add an extra star for the adorable barn cat wearing a sweater who greeted us outside the gift shop!

Beautiful tree farm! They have many different sizes and trees to walk through. It is so pretty. We just moved to the area and can not wait to hopefully make this our yearly tradition. We found a tree just right for us. Thank you!

Very nice staff, a pretty good selection of trees, and the prices are not bad. They did not have any hot chocolate or other refreshments this year though.

This is a beautiful place to bring the family and cut down a tree. A very sweet couple runs the farm. They also sell beautiful wreaths and centerpieces and gave us hot cocoa and cookies.

First visit, the only douglas firs had tree growing in them . I guess 2 for 1 deal. Hot chocolate was good and staff was nice. They also dont shake the tree before bailing
