This was a great find along the Washington County Ice Cream Trail. It was my first time at the creamery, although many friends had recommended it before. It did not disappoint. The ice cream was delicious and there were quite a few flavors to pick from. It was a treat to see the animals on-site, explore the sunflower maze, and see the growing monarch butterflies. There was also playground equipment, so I could definitely see stopping by for a longer visit in the future!

My wife and I made a visit after hiking High Rock recentlyA wonderful setup. They have multiple farm animals to see up close, as well as a beautiful and active butterfly gardenIce cream is top notch! As are the waffle cones. I had the Granny's Cumbs, which is a favorite there, and my wife had the lemon cookie (also delicious- some similarities to a key lime).Highly recommend

Fantastic ice cream and much more. They have a very nice petting zoo with a variety of animals. There are some different mazes. The scenery is beautiful. You have all that with friendly service. It is all free, except the ice cream.

Ice cream made right there. Local owned, clean and friendly staff. Plenty for children to do, small animal farm, bikes, scooters, and bridge. Beautiful foliage to look at. Also in the late summer they have sunflower field. Many photo opportunities as well. Ice cream is amazing. Also sell products that they make there too.

First timers and we will definitely be going back. Food was delicious, animals were the sweetest, lots of things for Littles to do, plenty of room to run around, and cutting our own sunflowers was the icing on the cake!

This is everything you want in a country ice cream shop. The ice cream is tasty and smooth, the servers are friendly and accomadating, and there are fun free things for the kids. Plus they can view animals. This was a great find.

My children absolutely loved Misty Meadows we got them each a cone with a single scoop it was $4 for both of them so pretty cheap and we left with a quart of ice cream because the girls thought it was very good they had a lot of fun playing with a different items that they had their to play with and they absolutely love the animal that will be included in the pictures remember like my post so I can bring you more

My kids love to visit here for ice cream. Not only are the treats tasty but there are fun play features and farm animals to visit. They also enjoy playing on the bikes in the gravel area. If we lived a little closer we'd go more regularly.

Best ice cream I’ve ever had. Came here after a camping trip in 2008 and always remembered how good it was. I happened to pass by again after a day hike on the AT and was happy to find it is still delicious. They have expanded their building and outside there are activities for kids, and a playground. Go get some ice cream!

Went here as part of the Maryland ice cream trail, an effort by the Maryland department of agriculture to give exposure to local creameries. Out of the 8 ice cream places we tried over the past few weeks, Misty Meadow Farm was definitively the best. The ice cream was rich and flavorful, the atmosphere was homey and relaxing, and the service was excellent. They also gave you the option to pick from the sunflower fields they have in the back. Definitely worth the drive.

Why bother coming to a creamery and paying a premium price for ice cream that has all of the chemicals and stabilizers that grocery store ice cream has? Don't waste your time and money

Great place to go for a treat, for some time out in the fresh air, and to just be in one very beautiful location with the kids’ enjoying time outside in all but the coldest weather 😉fun animals, great views and wonderful treatsKid-friendliness: Animals and ice cream need I say more 🤣

Enjoyed the day and the ice cream but found that there was very little service to let you know about the other attractions. Was also advertised as a pumpkin patch and we found no patch just a few small pumpkins.

Soooo in love with this little baby cow at Misty Meadows Farm/Creamery. We enjoy stopping here year round, for icecream in the summer, flowers in the fall, pumpkins at Halloween.. there is always something going on. Always get the best photos of my girls here. Great kids place and the staff are super kid friendly. Awesome place for kids to grow up, and I thank the owners and their family for sharing it with us :)

It’s all low-tech, recalling a slower, happier time. Nearby, you can visit orchards.The ice cream is excellent and priced for indulgence: $4 for one scoop, $5 for two scoops, $6 for 3 scoops. Other ice cream treats include sundaes, milkshakes and more.If you want lunch in addition to ice cream, the chili is very good.

It's a little run down but the kids didn't mind and it's free but a lot of stuff is broken on the playset and the tractor bikes you can ride, though the Ice cream is delicious!

Awesome ice cream with great flavors and unique choices. The s5aff loves what they do and it shows! They also have a great playground area for the kids and a nice animal petting zoo type area. A bit out of the way but worth it for sure!

Delicious ice cream! Fun playground and activities, especially the tricycles. Nice to see and pet animals as well. A lovely picnic space and outdoor seating as well. And of course, beautiful flowers (although thy sunflower patch was smaller than I expected). We look forward to coming again!
