Rarely busy and nice staff. Parking out back is hard to get to (construction) but handy for those of us who live outside of walking distance. The high velocity dryer is not working and the tubs weren't very clean but ... it's a dog wash. My Maggie was NOT pleased.

I love this place. MId size unleashed. They have the self wash baths for your dogs. They carry plenty of the popular products for most popular animals. Staff is friendly and knowledge. They offer training for dogs too but have not done it there. Parking in the rear.

Wow, this is a great Petco at a great location. They have a wonderful variety of treats and well just everything. It's small but that's what I love about it too. I went in for a sweater for my Cocker Spaniel, Molly, and the selection was great. Just the right amount to choose from. I bought a wonderful fleece lined knit sweater and Molly loves it. The service was spectacular and personal. I definitely recommend this location of Petco. Happy shopping for your babies.

Go there to use the dog shower station which is very useful. They charge $15 for I believe 20 minutes use the station, I have a Great Pyrenees, so I unfortunately ended up using it over the allowed time, but they didn't charge me extra and were very understanding saying "we saw that you were trying to be within time but he is a big boy" I appreciated the gesture very much and ended up buying couple things more as a thank you to them. Def recommend.

Staff is helpful & friendly. Unleashed locations specialize in dog & cat items so are smaller than the typical Petco store; Good for a quick stop. Also they have an inexpensive DIY dog washing facility, but be aware that last call is about an hour before the store closes, so you can finish & staff has time to clean-up. This location has some parking in rear, accessed from alley.

I showed up to this location with dog and 4yo old in hand, after 2 blocks of walking (not to the fault of the employees) to use the self wash. Just to be told they're gonna close the self wash at 530pm. I walked in 528. I responded well looks like i made it just in time and she said "no, I'm actually walking over to close it". Rather than go back forth in front my 4yo as to why i could not do our business, the ladies' body language was more than enough indication to tell me customer service or pride was non existent, so I just left quietly. My question is what would be the harm to let me bathe my dog 15-20 min tops if the store closes at 7 pm? Could someone reach out to me and explain why this was not possible.

I come here mainly for the staff. They're all very kind and the one lady there is very well versed in animal care. They love hearing about my cats and I'm more than willing to blab about my boys.I would say sometimes certain food products for older cats aren't there. I usually have to go else where for that but I expect that seeing that this store is pretty small, and it seems to cater more towards dogs and younger cats. But everything else regarding cat care (like litter, toys, health and beauty products) is well stocked.

The staff is great! The loss of one star is because of the higher price for some of their products. This, however, is not a reflection of their management and staff there who are all very caring and accommodating people, but still is something that shoppers may want to take into consideration.

I happen to live right next door, so I go there constantly. The employees there are always very welcoming, and whenever we run into them, they give my dog some treats, and treat her like she's royalty. I've always been able to find whatever I'm looking for, since they have a variety of products and different brands.

This unleashed is great. They have parking in the back and it is a great location, metro accessible. The prices are outrageous but the same you would find at all unleashed stores. They have 3 dog wash tubs in the back and self washes cost ten bucks. Includes soap, towels, and professional blow dryers. Plus they clean up all the mess.

I visited the store 5 minutes before closing to get food for my dog who was completely out of food. When I got to the store, the doors were locked. I waited in front of the store for about 5 minutes until an employee finally showed up 1 minute before closing. When I explained to the employee named Kylie who apparently was the manager on duty, that I had been to the store 5 minutes early, she was unempathetic and nonchalant. she said she shut down her registers early, even thou I had seen a customer walk out the store as soon as I arrived. This type of poor customer service is unacceptable, especially coming from someone who is the manager. I hope management can address this.

This store has been very helpful as we adjust to having an older dog with various issues related to aging. The staff are helpful and every visit we have found what we need. There is free parking in back off of an alley.

I love the employees here. They are always SUPER friendly to all the dogs and very helpful. My doggy and I also took training classes here with Miriam, and it was well worth it. Miriam is an excellent trainer!

It's a nice store but it's small and a good half of it is just dog/cat food. Another like quarter of it are cutsy little dog harnesses and clothing and leashes. One tiny section of a wall is for dog toys. Very few things for big dogs but it'll work in a pinch.

Love this place. We've shopped here as well as used the dog wash area. The prices are a little higher than other stores, but they have stuff other places don't, and big points for the dog wash area. That is very very affordable.

Customer service is not good at the Aspen Hills Maryland location , the kids they have working there do not know much about their products. The refrigerator they store the cold dog food the dog food I bought was too soft not good . I had to returned it at another Petco in Rockville .

Small place but loaded with pet care products. They have a self wash area for dogs which I think I'd appreciate it I had a dog. Quiet place where you can simply look and if you need help the staff seemed knowledgeable. A tiny PETCO.

We walked up from our house with our dog and was surprised that there are no bowls of water for thirsty pets. When we asked the cashier for water we got a bit of attitude and something about they have no bowls to put water in. There were about 6 dogs in the store and bowls out with treats. This is after we spent $60 in the store . Weird.

I used the self wash for my small dog. They have shampoo, conditioner, brush, towels and dryer. Very convenient and friendly staff.

Unleashed by Petco this pet store is fantastic place to bring your dog and cat the employees are friendly and helpful your dogie will love it they have Hills Science Diet pet food this store has a lot of refrigerator boxes to keep pet food they even have classes for your dog and puppy play time too you can shampoo your pet at the self wash this store is located at 8412 Georgia Ave Silver spring MD it use to be a post office.

Today was the 1st time I had to give Taffy a bath. She has a standing monthly appointment with a groomer. I was horrified she that she ended up with fleas.... I walked in clueless and Giggles (on her name tag) helped with the right products and instructions with the wash. Thank you thank you a million times. We will be back.

This actually had a good selection for what is usually a downsized version of a Petco. Due to being in the city, there isn't much parking though. The vet Co clinics there are also really convenient.

Went there to grab litter box for my girlfriend kitty. We walked there with my dog, very friendly stuff and very convenient for downtown silver spring since we don’t have that many choices around here.
