Absolutely stellar experience at The Bagelry in Silver Springs, thanks to the owner, Steven! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by Steven himself. The bagels are truly exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and baked to perfection. The wide variety of toppings and spreads made it hard to choose just one!Service was prompt and friendly, thanks in large part to Steven's attention to detail and passion for his craft. Five stars without a doubt, I'll definitely be back for more, thanks to Steven and his wonderful team!

1 cheese and 3 everything bagels: $8.84 with a 10% tip. Lots of melted cheese and lots of toppings on the everythings.The store is clean. Neat to watch the bagels being made.There is no seating in the restaurant.There were bags of six day old bagels available on Friday at 8am.

Update 2023: still the best place to get a bagel in the silver spring area. Best to get here early on Sunday or the line could be a bit long. The selection is quite generous on the bagels and sandwiches and the prices are reasonable. Big selection of fresh tasty bagels. The Nova on the run is a little pricy but very good. I must try if you like lox. The chocolate chip bagels and the cinnamon bagels are the kids favorite.

Bagels were great, lots of unique flavors and I loved the salami as a meat option. Bagels were small though and lox cream cheese was light on lox.However- you cannot have tables for customers to stand and eat at and not have a bathroom for your customers. They have a bathroom for staff only- really put a bad mark on my experience

We love the bagelry (as an ex NYer married to an ex NJer that says a lot) and it's always amazing and fast. I love the lox on a bagel but swap to scallion cream cheese and if they have the old bay, choose that (if not, go bially or everything bagel) and nix the salad 🥗. The kids get choc chip w plain cream cheese. They don't have a wild wait and the workers are great. I love the contactless google/apple pay and they brought the food out as my lox takes a bit and I had my kid in the car. Great bagels. Great people!

Customer service was really fast and you can tell that the bagels are really fresh! They're also selling "yesterday bagels" for cheap which further confirms that the bagels are freshly made. Probably top 3 bagel franchise of the best bagels I've ever had.

$8.00 bacon, egg, and cheese on bagel was average for the price. maybe it is just inflation. same cheap ingredients and high prices. oh the muffins are garbage; dont waste your $3.50.

Bagels are great, schmears is good....the problem I have is the process for a bagel with cream cheese on it costing almost $5 when I could actually get a breakfast bagel for close to that. Cream cheese should not cost 3.50 to add onMy bagel with cream cheese total was 4.49...too pricey and the size of the bagels are not huge.

Wife and I made a small detour while I’m Washington DC to try the Old Bay Bagel. We ended up trying 4 different ones and everyone was amazing! If I lived in this area, this would be my morning stop nearly everyday. Must check out if you’re anywhere near here. The Old Bay, Banana Nut and Everything Bagel were best we ever had.

This bagel store has by far the most amazing bagels in the area, worth the drive. They have been producing high quality bagels for years. They’re hard to describe, but I will try. They are soft and chewy inside but not too chewy, and crusty outside, not too large, and they use authentic flavor-able toppings and ingredients, and these are the kind of bagels that satisfy cravings, and fill tummies. They offer incredible cream cheese, and lox.

Very annoyed, love this place, but I wanted bagels for my husband birthday (memorial day) and their website says it's only closed on 3 holidays (not including memorial day). But no, they were closed. They could have at least posted something on google updates! 3 other people walked up right as I was leaving disappointed as well.So frustrating.

Bagels are good but if you don’t get there by noon on a weekend you can assume that the selection will either not be good or they might close early because they ran out of bagels. Go early AND order ahead and also don’t expect the people who work there to be friendly after you’ve driven there and find they are out of bagels. We had the door slammed in our face and locked when we said we hadn’t ordered ahead.

The Bagelry in Colesville, MD., is a grand community favorite. The bagels are wonderful, even though they are not NY bagels. This New Yorker hasn’t found a better bagel in Maryland. The cream cheese is heavenly! As for the staff, well, they are kind, courteous, and efficient. We love to have the Bagelry in our community!!! Give it a try! 😋😋😋

The bagel is solid buuuuut They charge 2.69 to add an extra egg that tastes like rubber and their tomatoes they charge you .75 cents for are 2small slices of not fresh tomatoes that don’t cover the bagel. Didn’t enjoy my breakfast as much as I wanted to. Definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone else.

This has been my go to bagel place for decades! It is the best!! I have tried tired bagels all over the country and this is always the most fluffy and delicious one. You can tell they care about quality!My go to is the blueberry or banana but bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Their cream cheese has pieces of strawberries in it! No artificial flavors. Another great one the the “nova on the run”. Service is always warm and helpful. I’m so happy this place is close to my home!

First time there. The staff are patient and friendly. I tried their plain bagel with plain cream cheese and another with bacon and herb cheese, both were good. Tried their roast beef sandwich which is good as well. For a first timer, I enjoyed and would recommend. I think the difference between their new York style bagel and other bagels is the amount of cream cheese used.
