The grocery store always is in stock for what you need, the staff are nice and knowledgeable, and the store is clean and not to busy. If you get a chance, try their carrot cake. You won't be dissapointed. I always enjoy their selection as well as how fast I can get in and out. Truely a small gem in the area.

Store is fairly well laid out, signs above aisles tell you what you need to know. The vegetables were very fresh, and the prices are always fair. I got lucky that all the ingredients I needed for the stew I'm making were on sale! The meat is well priced but tastes like steakhouse quality. The fruits are plump, sweet and ripe.

Very clean and well organized supermarket. Very good prices. Excellent produce, deli, meat and fish departments. Kind helpful employees.My only criticism is their Asian and Latino sections are limited but still ShopRite in Silver Spring is a wonderful supermarket. And they play the best music which makes the marketing experience joyful. :-)Unlike a few other reviewers, I've never experienced long check-out nor found past expiration date food items on the shelves.Highly recommend for quality groceries and good value. They double coupon value up to $1.00 which is awesome.

Update to 4 stars from 3 stars one year ago. I was very impressed. Very organized. Signage all over regarding safety and limits due to virus. Clearly labeled floors to promote social distancing. Plenty of cash registers available. Hardly any lines. Only store of in my area that I’ve heard of that has been organized and well stocked. App helped a lot also.

UPDATE - MARCH 2023 - ShopRite is now a GIANT FOOD...Decent prices on produce, many things on sale. (I buy mostly produce). Lots of weekly specials AND they double coupons up to $1 (to $2 off! Most stores don't allow the $1 doubling!)Just look for the large sales banners above the food section you are in, and you'll find a great deal somewhere if you are flexible. The computers often don't scan items correctly, so check the receipt before you leave. Side Note: Tuesday is 5% off for people over 55 y.o.

Huge and well stocked. You could practically get everything you needed from the store. It bubbled and had good staffing with fresh foods (fruits and vegetables included).Unfortunately, they closed down in the wake of the COVID pandemic. Giant has since taken over the facility.I am certainly one of those who miss this ShopRite store.

I always have a pleasant experience. I love everybody who works at the pharmacy. They are very friendly and call you by your name, which makes it more personable. Never a long wait and they will have your order, if fax in, by the time you arrive. :)

I like this pharmacy. I like the store too, but I usually travel the 20 minutes for the pharmacy. For some reason they usually have what the pharmacies close to me are don't have in stock.The ladies that work there are all very nice and helpful.The service is usually always 15-20 minutes while they prepare it. Which is enough time to go an aisle over into fruits/veggies and prepared foods.One stop shopping!

Very nice grocery store. Produce is fresh with a decent variety. Salad & soup bar are exceptional.They also have a food bar which looks adequate. Big and spacious isles. Checkout could be larger but overall I'm definitely making it a usual grocery shopping store for my family.

My first time there, and though their stock was favorable, their staff was not up to my standards. Brian was our cashier, and he was rude; lacked customer service skills across the board. A simple greet and/or "Have A good/great day" would've sufficed even a little. Because it was our first visit, I asked him was I to get the Shoprite rewards card from him. He replies no you were supposed to have brought your own, sounding real snooty though. I said, well this is my first time here so no I would not have one. It must have been something personal he had against me, for whatever reason I do not know, but the gentleman after us, Brian greeted with no problem; spoke with him with pleasantries.Next I went to customer service to address a possible savings issue. Tracie was the associate assisting me. She was slightly better than Brian in her role of customer service, but if it wasn't her speaking up/clearly, then it was her sarcasm. I work in customer service, so I know how first time impressions can have a dramatic effect on any company/business. I would gently suggest honing in on staff to always make good practice to be pleasant with every customer they encounter. I will take my business elsewhere, as I'm sure neither of these associates considered their demeanor. First and last ✌🏽

Shop here all the time now. The food is fresh and well stocked. Clean and well lit. Deli section has a good variety of meats and cheeses. Cashiers are friendly and courteous. Prices are fair. Location is good.

'First timer' here. Loved it! Parking was a cinch and the store is beautiful and the lay-out is seamless. Great selection and prices. Best customer service ever! Very professional, courteous and helpful. I think I just found my new food store!!

Great prices. Frequently don't have the items advertised. Watch the expiration dates especially on dairy. Past due and still on shelf. Employees not very helpful. Checkout counters need to be cleaned.They could be a 5 star store with the right management.

This is one of the few ShopRite supermarkets in this area. I used to go to the ShopRite on Long island all the time especially when they had their " can-can sale"this supermarket was nicely upgraded The prices seem fair and they had a salad bar where I grabbed the bite to eat.They're handicapped accessible, they were lots of shopping carts and they had enough checkout options that I could use the self checkout for one or two items and get on my way pretty quick.Not bad for what used to be the old Atlantic and Pacific tea company!

This grocery store has ideal prices. The manager and cashiers and workers in general are pretty nice and helpful. The store is well stocked and a clean establishment. I shop here every other week, the Z6 metro is close if you do not have a car.

Shop Rite is by far my favorite local grocery store. Great quality cold cuts, good bakery section. Stopped in today to get a cake, and they immediately personalized it for me. Produce isn't the cheapest but over all very reasonable grocery bill.

Huge selection on almost all products, from lotion to chips. It is not a "pick this or that" place. You have many options, sizes, brands and i love their prices! Defiantly worth a visit to pick up your household needs. Plently of carts and free parking. They also have self-check out, a plus!

Great prices on shrimp and seafood, and special deals on roast beef for the holidays. On the negative side, they are higher priced on bacon, hot dogs, and meat in general. Also, customer service is almost non-existant. It is a big store with lots of choices as long as you are willing to pay higher prices.

Great.. basically was a alternate since Safeway is gone in Briggs Chaney outlet.... positive was that it really gave me a chance to check out shop rite and it has been a pretty good visit every time .. have found products at Shop Rite that is never seen at Safeway! Happy shopping!

I love shoprite!! I love the prices and the variety of items that they carry. The prices are great and the quality of the produce department is exceptional. Make sure you sign up for their rewards card. You can add up points and redem them in store. Last year I earned a Turkey from all the points I had added up.

Love the store, they have a wide variety of items in every department, except lemon pudding. I would've given them 5 stars but i always wait more than 15 minutes in the deli. They need to be more speedy in the deli

This store us always clean, has a much wider variety than any other store around, has fresh produce, and the employees are usually helpful and curious. The only problem I have with it is the layout. Things are not arranged like every other grocery store and a lot of items are in multiple locations. I spend twice as long here just because I have to search for everything.

Pretty straightforward grocery store, bigger wider aisles in most of their stores, which is really nice! Their selection of natural and organic products is growing by the month, and most items seem to be in stock. Lot of good sales, definitely worth joining there Shopper's Club.

Coupons used to double up to $1.00 as long as you spend a minimum of $25 which was very reasonable. April 2017 the coupon policy was updated to the golden standard, doubles up to $.99. Try their fried chicken is usually good.

New to the area and a disabled veteran I have a list of medications that must be refilled without pause. Rarely must I wait for refills and if I do it's no more than a day. The staff is always friendly and professional. I am fortunate to have them as my primary pharmacy and they accept many insurance plans.

I freaking love this place. Talk about a big bang for your bucks. There prices are very doable. The meats are priced low & you can get a good amount of food for less than $ 100. I know, I've been there. The struggle is real 🙄. I will go out my way to shop at this store.

I like the vegetable section. Cashiers clean their space often which is great. Social distancing and mask enforced. The cashier that served me was very professional and friendly. Liked her great attitude.
