So impressed by this dollar tree location. I have been looking for a reliable dollar tree and the ones around Maryland city laurel area are always hit or miss, I've tried them all. This location was organized, stocked, TWO registers open!! Nice size store not too big like some locations. At least 6 associates working & stocking, all very friendly. This was worth the longer drive from laurel. I will probably only come to this location.

The Ethiopians are soooooooooo nasty. They don't need to be collecting checks from US shoppers!!! Worst is, they don't even OWN the store to be so unwelcoming. They are deterring your customers. Also the Spanish lady with the weird eyebrows (every once in a while, when she draws them badly) is horrendous. She is very mean spirited and disrespectful. She will try to exercise control and intimidation and THAT NEEDS TO STOP COMPLETELY. she needs to keep that energy at home. The African man is just a sponge and soaks up her attitude when she begins her tirade. He is so confused and always looks to her for direction on how to do simple tasks. There was a light skinned young man, she used to order around that worked there, but I can bet he quit because of her. The black woman (I've only encountered her in the morning) is an angel and the last hope for (my) returning to this location to patron and spend money here. Your GM and regionals need to take these honest reviews into consideration before further action is taken to report these witches. We have lived in this community far too long to be experiencing this type of service from laborers who are profiting off of our contributions to your establishment. It's a shame that your establishment will hire such people when there's plenty others that can do better and treat people better because at the end of the day, we are people like them. By the way, I am 45years old. I'm not a child writing this so I've been around the block a few times to know that sales and service are hand in hand. They might meet a disgruntled customer in the parking lot, after shift one day with that type of attitude and just because police are around the corner doesn't mean they'll come fast enough. They need to leave their frustrations and disgusting attitudes at home. Unemployment may straighten them out. They don't belong in any establishment profiting a check with their nastiness.This is my community before it was theirs. They had better assimilate or stay home.

This Dollar Tree is pretty small compared to ones I'm used to going to. I was able to find some things I needed, though, like a broom and some chip bag clips. My main complaint would be that the frozen and refrigerated sections were almost empty. Not sure when their trucks bring that stuff to restock? I was there on a Thurs evening. Also, the mini fridge by the cash registers had sodas, but I bought the last bottle of water.

Hi There All,This is the Dollar Tree (store #1680) located on Outlook Dr in Silver Spring Maryland.I frequent this Dollar Tree quite often at least 3 times a week. I love to do DIY projects. I notice they have changed management and the store is a lot neater and organized, BUTthe customer service needs to improve greatly.I purchased a couple of items, 2 were defectived and the others were unopen. I wanted to do an exchange as I stated above,I come to this location quite frequently. The manager (Jerry) was called over and she tried to make every excuse to explain to me why she could not do a simple exchange I understand the policy is with no receipt no exchange but as I stated I frequent this store a lot and I had 2 items that were clearly defective. Now I could have gotten over not being able to exchange because I did not have my receipt but the way she handled the conversation was very aggressive even to the point I said OK ma'am no problem and walled away. I went and purchased the other items I wanted to get and as I was checking out I asked the cashier could she confirm the store number 1680 (the Receipt was not showing it clearly) so I could write a review . The manager (Jerry) overheard this conversation and as I was leaving approached me aggressively again and said do you want my last name and I said no ma'am I have your 1st name that's fine. She then stated well you are upset with me and you're mad at me and I said ma'am I'm not mad at you I just wanted to do an exchange and your approach is very aggressive she them went on and on until I just said have a good day and walked out the store. I have lived in this area for 4 years so I understand this location has changed and she may get a lot of young teenagers and others coming in to harassing but I am a 51 year old woman that comes in infrequently and spends a lot of money to do my DIY projects there. I feel her approach did not have to be so aggressive, and good customer service definitely still matters to some of us. At this point, I am unsure if I want to return to this location because of her nasty attitude.Thank you abd have a blessed dayLB

As dollar and a quarter trees go, this one is fairly clean and neat and orderly and has most of what you would expect to find there. Parking is OK and the fact it is located near other useful stores is a plus. We went on a Sunday later afternoon so as expected some shelves were bare but overall it was stocked well enough and staff was efficient and knew enough regular customers

This is a nice store, well stocked. Friendly cashier. Attendants so professional, I had so many things to carry, the sales associate (Andy) offered and helped me carry them to my car. I gave a tip he refused. Stated “I am just glad to help”. This review is the only way I can show appreciation. Truly grateful.

Disrespectful Cashier. Minus 5 stars.I left 1 star because I couldn’t give -5 stars.This afternoon 2/20/2022 around 3pm , I was in the store, looking for something good to buy for my projects, because I sell crafts online. Only one item caught my attention. Usually I buy a few and if I like the result I get more. And I consider myself a very good costumer. This time , I approached the cashier to pay for the sole item. When she saw the only one item, she turned to the other cashier behind her and she made a comment aloud saying “ look that woman got the whole cart to buy just one item” and LAUGHED AT ME!!!!!!! I got really mad !! This is the first time someone mocked me IN MY FACE!!!! I asked her why was she doing that, and I left not buying anything. I will definitely NEVER EVER go there again!!!Somebody urgently has to train her in costumer service.

Compared to other Dollar Tree stores I've visited, this one is the cleanest, well stocked, and most pleasant yet. I frequent this store for party supplies, art supplies and most recently garden tools. Dollar Tree is my go to for greeting cards, balloons, and believe it or not....dishes (paper and plastic). The staff is pretty nice also. Usually smiling and chatting with customers who frequent the store. Just all around kind. Thanks Dollar Tree!!!

I love the dollar store and like that this particular location is usually well stocked with usable items! During COVID restrictions, my experience has been that I spend much more time in the store due to extremely long, slow moving lines. Although the cashiers seem nice and helpful, it doesn't make up for being held up for long waiting periods in narrow aisles and with customers who are not observing social distancing. The store is busy, but only two cashiers have been at registers on my trips there since March. Maybe that's their way of social distancing staff, even though they have a very filmsy piece of plastic newly set up as a barrier at the cash register! I do not plan to go back for now because even though people are in masks, I am a bit uncomfortable with current operations as they regard observing social distancing and longer, slower moving lines.

Store is not well maintained. Staff is less than helpful. Just the other day I was shopping with my 4 year old when all of a sudden, she needed to use the restroom. I asked one employee if there was any way she could use the restroom but the employee was busy at the counter. She called for another employee to help me. When she came to me and I asked her the same thing ( by this time my Daughter couldn't hold it) she said that unfortunately there was no way my child would use their restroom. She suggested I leave the store and go into Ross next door to use theirs, and to come back to purchase what was on my cart. She then thought maybe she could open a register to quickly check me out which is what we did. End of story, my Daughter could not hold it and had an accident in the car on the way to McDonald's to use their restroom. If we weren't in need of the toiletries and other necessities I bought that day, I would've left the store without purchasing. I felt so frustrated and sad that I let my Daughter down. My husband said to me after hearing the events that unfolded, that even in the liquor store he used to work for they had compassion for children and the elderly when it came to restroom emergencies. Unless you really need something I recommend you go to another dollar tree with better reviews.

Majority of the time this is a great Dollar Tree to shop at. It's almost always clean and well stocked. The customer service is normally on par but there have been a few associates that have now manners. Maybe they were having a bad day. Overall I return to this store because they almost always have what I'm looking for in stock.

The place is good, but the customer service is horrible. I call to order balloons and the lady first told me I couldn’t order such a small quantity and then she began filling up the wrong order. The whole entire time she was on the phone, she was laughing with her co-workers about a party. When she finally got back to me and I repeated the correct order, she was like “I thought you ordered....” and literally after that she hung up on me. I called again and she was like “just come to the store” in a very rude manner. Then she hung up on me again. The Dollar Store is pretty okay and I haven’t had a problem with them so far. But this literally just ruined my day. I’ll write another review if I’m not treated rudely again.

The word dollar tree doesn't apply to items anymore but they are still the lowest for all the items that they carry ,overall they are a penny saver in a world of inflation including after you leave the supermarket and gas station.

The solo cashier had a line backed up in to the aisle but she did very well at politely manovering people through the line fast. Clean store, reasonably well stocked. They always need more cashiers though

Always a pleasure shopping here. The employees especially Angel are what makes the store great. Angel really makes my shopping trips here nice and is not only down to earth but also genuinely helpful to the customers.

I come here for the artificial flowers. Anything I plant automatically dies, so artificial flowers deck my landscape. During the winter, I bring in the artificial flowers and my home becomes a floral landscape.Lots of other bargains here as well. Kitchen supplies, bedroom pillows, comforters and sheets. The clothing are not the best, but you can still find something that looks good.I bought a clock radio here. It is difficult to set the time, but with practice it gets easier.

So First of all most cashiers here are rude and donot mind their business. Then, talk of service without a pinch of humanity. I decide to pickup a few things here and 3yr old kid starts screaming "mama, pee pee" I beg for a bathroom and one of the clarks says there is no public restroom but sends me to her manager. The manager in grey dreadlocks says the same thing and baby is still screaming. I plead to be taken to a private area so baby will pee in my water bottle and they can come supervise if they're scared. she still says "no" I should go down to Ross. I tell her baby would have peed on self by the time I get to Ross. She still refuses. At this point I'm tempted to pull baby's clothes down so the pee can go on the floor but on second thought, what's the lesson for my child. From this incident, I rather just drive to the dollar tree at laurel which is much bigger and has more stuff than trade with Jezebels.

There is no bleach around nor disinfectant wipes but I was able to get a gallon of bleach and 2 packs of disinfectant wipes in this dollar store. And guess wha? It was still $1, no price change. There was some few left in case you need it please rush

nice stock of bath bombs with Manuka honey and everything 1$. I like the bolero line and crayons bath bombs. on Fridays I guess theres more cashiers 3. I ve never had to wait more than 10 mines

This is a great store for picking up everything from toothpaste to laundry detergent at a fraction of regular prices. Staff is polite and store is clean - priorities for me.

It’s always messy and unorganized everytime I go in. Seems like half the time they have nothing. Boxes every where most of the time. Team members look like they hate being there :(
