CAT OWNERS REJOICE!! I have found THE pet spa with an amazing, wonderful, talented cat groomer and she is located at the Sudsy Puppy!! Victoria is not only all those things I listed above but she is just extremely kind and courteous and makes me feel extremely comfy every time I drop my babies off. I take them every few months for a little refresh bath and one of my cats gets a few of her (what I call) tuffs cleaned out of her fur. They come home smelling super clean and fur so shiny. It’s not easy to find a cat groomer, especially one that won’t automatically shave your entire cat when they have some matting but Victoria works with my girl and has helped her hair grow back even better!

I’ve been taking my standard poodle and cocker spaniel to Sudsy Puppy for the past 2 years. Kate and Rebecca are wonderful! They always look like show dogs when finished. I have recommended these groomers to others. Front desk people have always been polite and professional.

After two years of visiting Sudsy Puppy with mixed results and fine/above average service, they told us we needed to sedate our dog for grooming. We were hesitant at first because our 7 y/o Wheaton terrier has never had issues like this. I get it though. Things change and some older dogs become sensitive to things.We did sedate our dog at 2x the recommended dose for his last visit. Not only could the staff not handle a sedated dog, they refused service when we tried to re-book his next visit.We took him to another local groomer with no issues at all and spoiler alert, we didn’t have to sedate him.So, beware of the overly sensitive and scared staff here.

I wish I could give The Sudsy Puppy all the stars in the world. I am so happy with how they groomed my dog. These ladies are doodle hair whisperers. My doodle has been turned away from many other groomers due to how easily she matts between appointments. It has been such a long hard process to find a place that meets her needs. It had gotten to the point that I myself tried to start grooming her, but it was a nightmare for both her and I. I would accidentally nick her a lot and I would feel so bad. The Sudsy Puppy is our official groomer now and we will be on the doodle program . We are never going anywhere else. She looks great and has no nicks! (Which is important to me) Thanks Sudsy Puppy!!!

We’ve had our 2 large goldendoodles getting cuts the past 3 years here & they always do a great job (see Cooper’s picture)!Bedsides the dogs looking great, SP really touched our hearts when we got a package in the mail to express their condolences for the loss of our Maggie. The handwritten note was very touching & the healing hearts candle smells great too. Words don’t do justice the warm feeling we got when opening the package to know that someone else cares & feels the hurt too.Definitely a company we want to do business with …. Excellent in their pet care & went above & beyond for compassion!

Had a wonderful experience with Sudsy Puppy and their groomer Jennifer. It was my kitty's first professional groom and they made it a wonderful experience. He came home so soft and clean with a fantastic deshedding too. Made it so my semi-allergic husband wasn't having so much trouble with him. Will definitely keep coming back for his 12 week visits!

Sudsy puppy has been the most wonderful and helpful groomer I have ever come across! We take our sweet Teddy there ever 8-12 weeks and have never had any issues. The staff is super helpful and friendly and they answer all my questions when I have them. If you're looking for a great cat or dog groomer I would highly recommend them!

They did great job. My dog looks great. He is 15 years old and they are so caring. They are quick so he's not stuck in a cage for hours. I recommend Sudsy Puppy to everyone I meet.

We just adopted a small dog who was matted, is anxious and had a few bite incidents at the shelter and the vet. We were a little anxious about getting him groomed. but he did wonderful at sudsy puppy!! They did great with him, we didn’t end up using the meds the vet prescribed and he turned out so cute!

Such a great salon for my pup. Emily is amazing! Staff is so friendly and my dog always looks great after I pick him up from his appointments. Staff even calls me with plenty of time to pick him up. It's a bit far from my house but I won't take my dog anywhere else.

I had my two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels groomed at The Sudsy Puppy. They did a wonderful job. My fur babies were fresh and clean and clipped to perfection. The staff was courteous and helpful. Would highly recommend them.

I took my mom dog to get groom and the lady at the desk with the ring in her nose is very nasty I walked in and spoke and the other lady at the desk spoke but the lady with the nose ring didn’t I have no problem with the groomer she is new there her name is Amanda she does a great job when you bring your fur baby to have a spa day you want to feel comfortable with leaving them I called to make an appointment and on the Internet it says that they open at 8 o’clock but the voicemail says it open at 8:30. I think they need to fix that.

My dog got a perfect haircut!!! Olivia asked lots of questions, to find out the exact cut I wanted. My pup was nervous when we arrived, but she was happy as can be when I picked her up. I can tell they were very sweet to her throughout her haircut.I’ve been to several groomers because we’ve lived in multiple states. This is definitely the best haircut she has had! The staff is also super friendly!

They did a wonderful job with our almost 5 month old newfie-poo. He went in with uneven and random length fur and came out looking like a whole new dog. The groomer discussed goals for him beforehand and made sure our pup was comfortable before she took him back. They even found him a bandana that matched his name! I love this place! Olivia is amazing and my dog Jake loves her and everyone here. He’s always so excited when we pull up and he sees where we are. Highly recommend! And they are open weekends so that is an added bonus!

Reading the review about them sedating a dog for grooming was a HUGE red flag to me. I've literally never heard of that outside of a vet's office. I was debating giving them a try just to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, their customer service wasn't the best which was another red flag so we are going elsewhere.

My previous dog had clear nails but our current boy has black nails and fought me like a gator after I accidentally nicked his quick during a home nail trim 😢 The monthly nail club membership is great to keep on top of his nails and prevent them from getting too long. The staff at the Severna Park location is so nice, and very responsive regarding appointments. I never hear Howie howling like he does if I try to clip his nails, and he comes out wagging his tail. A win for everyone!

Toby had a wonderful experience at the Sudsy Puppy! My partner's family dogs have always gone there so when it came time to get Toby groomed for the first time (with us, we just adopted him 3 months ago) I wanted to go somewhere that was at least familiar. Went here to get my Chow Chow groomed and have his first general upkeep done and I was very happy with the cut, his nails and the smell was amazing as well. Olivia did an amazing job and will 100% be going back to her to keep up with his grooming.

Our Golden Doodle Bosley was terrified of grooming. We were at our wit's end until we tried Sudsy Puppy. They were able to bathe, clip and style this scared 18 month old goofball and he looks amazing. We are taking both of our Doodles there from now on! I love Sudsy Puppy!

Just used The Sudsy Puppy for the first time and it was great. The communication, from initial contact to payment for services rendered, was impressive and done via multiple channels. My shih tzus had never been professionally groomed and, having had bad experiences elsewhere with my previous dog, I was very nervous at drop off. Katrina and Olivia came out to greet us, asked questions to be clear about what I wanted, and did a fabulous groom. Start to finish my dogs were home in less than three hours. We will definitely be back.

NOT IMPRESSIVE & UNPROFESSIONAL. NOT A GOOD FIT FOR WORKING DOG BREEDS. I usually leave good reviews and try a place a second time to give the benefit of the doubt -- not coming back.I own a Belgian Malinois & scheduled a nail trim and self-wash for my dog awhile back. WORKING DOG BREEDS ARE NOT A GOOD FIT HERE and I say this because the nail trim technician did not know how to approach my dog. She put her face in front of my dog without letting my dog acclimate to her & naturally my dog growled. She called my dog "aggressive" and refused to do the nail trim service. I would think that for a pet groomer that staff would be trained in handling all dog breeds. This was the first and last time I brought my dog here. Lastly, because this was the first time we went here, my dog was unfamiliar with the process and was a bit anxious for the self wash. I overheard the staff TALKING ABOUT how my dog was being difficult during the process AFTER I had closed the door for the self-wash. UNPROFESSIONAL.
