I had a really great experience here even starting with the initial call to make an appointment. Everyone was very friendly but most of all, I cannot say enough great things about Dr. DeLozier. She was so kind and helpful. She was extremely thorough and informative. She spent a lot of time examining and treating my rabbit who had multiple issues that needed to be addressed. She took such great care of him and I only wish I had found her sooner!

Bayside Animal Medical Center has been truly a blessing throughout the years for Lilo ( Bunny Holland Lop). Unfortunately my bunny gotten sick ( Stomach Cancer) Bayside truly gave us the best options for care til the very end. Dr Delozier throughout the years has been so good to Lilo and my family. Bayside has been excellent in caring for my bunny for the past 2 years. He had some depression and anxiety when his brother passed away and Dr Buchanan knew exactly what he needed. Everyone one at Bayside are always cordial and friendly and my cat doesn't seem to mind going there for her nail clipping . The receptionists and doctors are friendly and very accommodating with scheduling appointments around your schedule. I am very happy with them and will recommend them to everyone !!

I love Bayside. The vets that have cared for my animals have been kind, attentive and very personable. (Dr. Oliver and Dr. Delozier.) All the others that have helped (like a Saturday emergency appt. -- Dr Begael, and Dr Sims are so awesome.) My friends see Dr. Buchanan, and love her. And Dr Steinberg did my dog's spaying and removal of dewclaws. This is a wonderful place to care for your amimals. And may I say that the front desk is so responsible and kind, as are the techs.

I’m extremely happy with Bayside and especially Dr Steinberg. The ladies upfront are always super sweet and on top of their game with questions about medications, appointments, billing/payments, or really anything that you can think of. All of the doctors are great, but Dr. Steinberg is really awesome. He takes the time to listen to the issue that your pet is having and then takes the time to ask you questions to really get to the bottom of the problem. He’s never rushed or in a hurry and will follow up with a personal phone call to see how everything is going. I really do feel like he genuinely cares and that’s a good feeling to have.

Today I went to take my mouse to her appointment, unfortunately she’s no longer with us as she was suffering from cancer. The women who helped me today were absolutely amazing and very considerate throughout the entire process. The only issue I have is that I paid $160 for my mouse to be euthanized and be brought home for burial/cremation and the box was a UPS box that looks to be used since the address is crossed out. I understand that it’s not the fault of the Vets that helped me today but I would have assumed the company or higher ups would have boxes prepared for such smaller animals and not use boxes that were used for packages sent to them.

I just wanted to give a review my daughter and I brought her snake Sal who wasn’t doing well and after a few days he is eating and is very active .The doctor took her time and gave us suggestions to help Sal and she didn’t give unnecessary X-rays she tried to save us money and help with medication and other methods I can’t thank the staff and doctor enough we really appreciate all of your help!

I brought my panther chameleon in for a fecal and exam. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I work with chameleons and have seen many vet horror stories due to vet ignorance- So glad my experience here was different. I was extremely fearful and ended up crying during the exam, staff was very kind and reassuring. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Sims is the most thorough Vet my husband and I have encountered in our 44 yrs of marriage. We have had 4 dogs, and at least 5-6 different Vets during the past four decades. Dr. Sims style and approach in understanding all the possibilities of what is occurring and what may be unfolding "down the road" with our 3.5 yr Goldendoodle is second to none. It is as if she has a set of binoculars around her neck. She has coached us through his IBD. We now have "toppings" that she recommended to add to his prescription food. That has brought incredible peace of mind to us, since our Doodle is a VERY PICKY eater and often would go on a food strike. Sadly, he was recently diagnosed with a mast cell cancerous tumor. She referred us to two different oncologists. Fortunately, it is a low grade and Dr. Sims is by our side helping us on this journey. Trust Dr. Sims. In our opinion, you will not be disappointed.

Bayside has been an integral part of our pet's health for many years. They have been there for us through multiple pet emergencies, as well as our healthy check-ups. Each doctor has offered compassion, expertise, and patience, no matter the type of visit. We have trusted them with our exotic scales and furry tails and will continue to keep coming back. I have only seen dr Buchanan at bayside but she is the best vet ever. My dog developed 4 heart conditions last year. She has been very helpful and does what’s best for my dog’s quality of life. Doesn’t try to run up a huge vet bill. If you have an anxious doggo that needs some meds beforehand. Dr B is really awesome at not stressing them out.I had an appointment on Tuesday but my dogs cough was getting bad. I really appreciate how the front desk made time to squeeze us in on Monday. I can only say good things about bayside. If Tater could talk he would agree.

After 20 or so years of caring for two dogs, it's time to move on. Their doctors have been wonderful with my dogs, but a recent very bad experience has made me realize that common sense customer service is not their strong suit. The quality of an organization's customer service is determined not when everything is going as expected, but when an issue or problem arises. It's at these times when their true customer service orientation is exposed. I had one of those issues arise recently at Bayside, and how it was handled left me feeling very uncomfortable continuing this relationship. Do they at least get 2 or 3 stars for all of the good years? No! Their disregard of our long relationship is exactly why they have earned just one sad star: the Google review equivalent of The Cone of Shame. :)

Dr. Buchanan and the staff at Bayside are amazing! They allow me to call and/or email with questions and pictures when my puppy gets in trouble and Dr. B is ALWAYS quick to respond with detailed and thorough answers. They calm my fears and provide solutions for all situations!Also, the medical center is clean and organized. The front desk staff, techs and vets are so kind and helpful. The vets immediately get on the floor to love on my pup! They love and care so deeply for the humans and animals! I’m so grateful to know my dog is in amazing hands at Bayside!

Absolutely recommend. I found this location through google. Only reptile VET near by. I have a bearded dragon and wanted to get him seen for a check up ever. Everyone was so friendly, kind and loving. The dr took so much time to talk with me. She didn’t rush me at all. She was full of knowledge and helped me write a list of things I need for my dragon. Highly recommend bayside!!

Dr. Buchanan is single handedly the best doctor. Ever. I brought in my 2 girls, both were spayed AND had multiple teeth removed. 2 days later they're both back to being themselves, happy and not in pain. She does an incredible job and not to mention she can work on exotic animals too! There were photos of her working on flamingos and elephants and like jungle animals in her office. I was very impressed. The prices were amazing, and no guilt tripping (like the other nearby place that begins with H). I have found my girls' forever doctor here!

They do their best not only to care for their patients but the parents of the patients. They never appeared rushed in taking care of our very, unexpected need for both our dogs the very day my wife needed to leave for an overseas work trip. Add to the context, that my wife had last minute snagged their last Saturday appointment on an absolutely perfect weather Labor Day Saturday. They chose to serve others over self down to and beyond the regular clinic hours.

I am not one to write reviews but I feel this place deserves a great one. Around a month ago my husband and I had to put down our precious guinea pig Stella. She was actively passing and I was beside myself trying to call around to see if anyone could squeeze her in. From the moment they answered the phone to the moment we left, the Staff and Dr. Buchanan treated us with nothing but love and respect. Today I was going through my mail and the staff sent us a letter with their condolences for losing our girl. It brought tears to my eyes when I read it. I will not be taking my fur babies anywhere else besides this office again. They genuinely care about their “patients” and their parents and not just about the profit they make off of them. I am so grateful for all the staff at this place. I couldn’t recommend a better Veterinary office.

Have been a customer of Bayside for over 20 years. Recently had an experience with an outside source for cremation services and my dogs remains were delivered to Bayside and was very surprised to learn that when that happens it’s the responsibility of the outside source to contact me, even though I’ve been a customer for so many years. Not once did they simply say Sorry. One email and one phone call seems too much. They just want to point fingers at everyone else. When I spoke with the gentleman he had an attitude immediately with me, the one time I called. Absolutely no compassion whatsoever.I believe Bayside has gotten too big now and unfortunately has come down to no customer service anymore. I will be looking for a new vet for my other dog.

This was my first visit here for my bearded dragon and we loved it! The staff is very helpful and friendly, wasn't a long wait before we were seen. You can tell they care about your pets just as much as we do and on top of all that they werent to pricey either. I will definitely be coming back again and again for all my pets needs! New Year New Review....As a pet owner since the age of 7...my first pup! I can assure you that one of the. Best gifts given to me in my youth was the love and respect for animals.My dogs have always been like a family member more so than a pet.They effect us just like the humans we so love in our lives.And that's why my wife and I trust our two pups to Bayside.You see we are there twice weekly to maintain our two senior pups who have Kidney disease.And I can tell you first hand that what I witness weekly beyond the waiting room is why Bayside is the only choice in Anne Arundel county for Veterinary care.The professional staff who I would trust either of my pups to ...daily treat not only our pets but us also...As I have witnessed many happy and sad days.... I've watched the loving care of a tech waking a cat after surgery. Not knowing that she was being observed, just doing what she does...so well !When hard choices needed to be made... and the doctors as well staff share's the loss.Yet manage to be professional checking their emotions as you see ...they too have built a relationship with your pet....As well you... and their concerns are genuine.So thank you Bayside for the care you provided my two pups...as well as the open door view to your daily routines.* Many Thanks to each staff member it's truly a pleasure seeing each of you weekly....and witness first hand the amazing jobs you do! *That's is Why Bayside is #1 in Anne Arundel county.♡

I live in a different state but we used to bring our dogs here before we moved. I brought my rabbit here last year because Dr. DeLozier was the only one who truly cared about my rabbit’s well being and helped her through the numerous problems that she had and was so sweet and respectful when the time had come to put my poor bunny to sleep. They were always available for any questions I had, took the time to explain everything to me and explain my best options for every aspect of her care. I came to Bayside because I knew in the past they were always good to my pets and in the state I live in, I visited 4 different vets that couldn’t tell me what was wrong with my rabbit or would tell me that she was just going to have to live with her issues without telling me exactly what was wrong and really weren’t giving her the time of day to fully look into her. I’m so thankful I went to Bayside and Dr. DeLozier was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be taking my other rabbit to her if I ever need to take him. I drove a few hours to come see her because she is the best vet I’ve ever been to. Hands down. Thank you to all of the staff as everyone I spoke to was always so sweet and helpful.

I left Annapolis Animal Hospital almost two years ago and I'm so happy I did. I cannot say enough good things about Bayside Animal Medical Center. Their beautiful new facility is just awesome and it allows them to treat more patients at a time and accommodates the large staff of extremely accomplished veterinarians. Their pricing is also fair, especially compared to some of their competitors in Anne Arundel County. I don't feel nickel and dimed and everything is fully disclosed to me; there is no guessing what the bill is going to be.My Maine Coons are treated primarily by Dr. Oliver. I am very impressed with her - she is always very thorough and knowledgeable, and I've never had all three cats so comfortable with anyone before. She is very pleasant and professional and I never feel rushed. It is very clear that Dr. Oliver cares deeply for her patients and loves what she is doing. All the treatments she has suggested have worked. My senior cat also works with one of the practice owners, Dr. Bray for acupuncture. I am extremely happy with the results; he is like a new, younger version of himself. Since the treatment began, he has gained weight, he is much more active, and he doesn't appear to be in any discomfort like he was previously. This week we also confirmed that the acupuncture has had a profound impact on his kidney values. It makes me very happy that his quality of life is so much higher now.Again, I'm very happy I made the change to Bayside and I would encourage anyone thinking about a change to choose them!
