Took our new puppy here. Staff was friendly and kind to our new family member. Was caught a bit off guard that they took him in the back to examine so we couldn't be with him. It was a long wait as well, but they were apologetic. The doctor was nice and answered all our questions. We are happy to return with our growing baby boy!

This place cares about dogs! My dog got a fishing hook in his nose and the staff here were so generous and kind and swift with care. They are fair and gentle. Don’t go ANYWHERE else but here. ❤️ thank you so much . An answered prayer.

I really wanted to like this place. The front desk staff was great. Even the tech was pretty decent. The worst part of my experience was Dr. Schroen. I provided all this information regarding issues with the tech only for her to take my dog back to Dr Schroen for literally 5 mins and bring my dog back. Dr Schroen comes in and only address one issue. I had to remind her of the other issues for her to say “oh yeah” and proceeded to answer me with generic answers i could’ve googled. To me, she just treated my visit nonchalantly, like i was just another person or my dog was just another dog. $75 for a visit is cheaper than most but still a great deal of money to simply get google answers and only for you to see my dog for five minutes. I’m sure maybe this clinic is better when dealing with emergencies, but i honestly don’t see me investing anymore money with them for preventative care or check ups. Which really sucks cuz i really wanted to like them. Again, staff was great especially the woman at the front desk. Lord i just want a vet that cares about my dogs issues big or small no matter how many pets they see a day. That’s it, that’s all. Pet insurance is too much money, procedures are too much money, even medications are too much money for veterinarians to not care like they should. The same goes for any doctor honestly. Y’all are paid way too much money to not care for every patient that walks through the door.

I highly recommend this place. I had an unexpected emergency with my cat and they took him right away. They genuinely care and were not focused on the money but focused on my babies well being. All staff are friendly and very welcoming.

First time at this Vet. Very good experience. It was a little odd to me that the exam was done in a back room out of my sight and not in the room we were brought too, but I suppose every clinic is different. Or maybe they had some special instrument in the back to check his skin issue he has going on... idk... it just struck me as weird coming from my old vet experiences.But everything was smooth sailing. No issues with the service or medications provided. Not to costly either. Very kind staff and clean facility.

My cat Harry had to be rushed to Pets ER at 3am due to a uti, and he was blocked (unable to pee). Because he had a catheter in and couldn't stay at the er during the day he spent his days at Winter Place Animal Hospital. They are a great vet and I totally would take my pets there for anything. The staff and vet were inviting and extremely friendly.

I had to make the difficult decision to put my dog Buttons down last night - this entire staff were so caring, professional, offered to stay with Buttons and myself when they sedated her. We had an emergency with a dog we were pet-sitting and no one else would squeeze us in. They cut their lunch hour short and gave Sarge excellent care. Really was impressed with their caring attitudes.

We have been taking our dogs to winter place for several years. You cannot beat the friendly and knowledgeable staff. They refill our 1800PetMeds prescription every time within like 24 hours and we place an order once every two months. I hope I never have to go anywhere else because they are the best in town.

Have been going to Winterplace animal hospital for over a decade. Dr. Raynes has correctly diagnosed my animals when other vets did not. She has magical abilities and seems like she almost can talk to the animals. Has always taking loving an amazing care of my pets! Highly recommend!

I called them as a non customer because my cat poisoned himself and my vet was not in town. They got me in immediately and they went above and beyond to make him comfortable and to care for him. They worked with me to get his symptoms under control and they all legitimately cared about him getting better. It is because of their quick response and loving care that he is absolutely fine with no lasting effects!

My rescue dog is reactive - meaning he "freaks out" when he sees strangers or other dogs. So you can imagine going to the vet is an ordeal for us. We are so lucky to have found Winter Place Animal Hospital. They are patient, understanding, nonjudgmental, and such an amazing group of people. They work with me to schedule visits for slow times in their day, make sure Atlas has as calm an environment as possible, and treat him with care and understanding. I can't say enough great things about them!

Dr. Rayne and Dr. Bissman are wonderful! They are both pet and owner friendly. They are open and honest when it comes to your pet's care. Our dog had to be hospitalized there after having surgery at the PetER. The vets and vet techs are so loving and gave her personalized attention when she was very ill. We live about 45 minutes away but bring all of our pets here after having this experience with them. ❤

Took my cat there, staffed were nice but I was estimated 300 for him to be treated..the bill came to almost 700. Wasn't told till I picked him up that he may be right back in the same health and it's recurring! Got him home seemed better by morning he was in the same state. Called them while I was at work they told me if I couldn't have him there within an hour ,he couldn't be seen. ( Are you serious ) Decided to take him some where else altogether and that vet asked if they sent him home on meds..I said only pain med. She was surprised and told me we could try the meds she would have sent him home on. At this point he's be suffering for days and now is squirting blood everywhere. I couldn't afford any more treatments, I had to put him down. This whole experience was horrible.. I don't feel he got the care he should have. The vet made it sound like they'd flush his bladder and he'd be fine. I learned one thing..ask every question possible..do not assume they will tell you. I keep thinking if he had been sent home with the right medications..would he still be here.
