My dog gets her nails clipped here since she is afraid of the vet. They are great with my dog! She gets a big bone and fancy neckerchief and perfume as well. She behaves well for them. Highly recommend!

My basset hound had been to two previous groomers and just always seemed depressed and mortified when he left. One groomer refused to dry him because he gave a little bit of resistance.Not KELLY, though. My boy feigns fear so she'll pick all 60 pounds of him up and carry him to the back to have his work done. He gives me a little smirk over her shoulder every time. If he's not feigning fear he's trying to break down the gate to get to the back to see everyone. Kelly took her time working with my boy to the point where he can let her mostly dry him with no issues.I also have another basset that is very skittish and has only had the pleasure of experiencing Kelly as her groomer and she has no issues with Kelly. She takes her time to love on my babe so she is completely comfortable. She has only been a couple times (mostly for nail trims) and it doesnt take any coercion from under their bench when she sees Kelly come in.They both adore her and I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff I've been around. Everyone is super friendly and I have no doubt anyone who goes here will be satisfied with the level of service they receive.AFFORDABLE TOO!10/10 will ALWAYS recommend!

We've been taking our Shih Tzu to Amy for over a decade. Michelle has a fabulous group of groomers. Stands are right out in the open so you can sew They're gentle approach. I wouldn't take my baby anywhere else!

To start, I loved taking my dogs here. The groomer they had been seeing was Dora. She did a fantastic job, I’ll give her that. But the last time we picked them up, she consistently complained about them having so much fur and it kept getting in her eyes. Then made us look at the floor to see how much fur came off of them, like we should be ashamed. Yes, they are Pomskies (half Pom, half Siberian Husky) they’re going to be fluffy & it was still winter weather…then after tipping her graciously, the lady taking my money told her that we gave her a really nice tip, to which she stated, “well it was a lot of work”. Insanely ungrateful and annoyed. that attitude absolutely turned me off. I don’t understand where this came from, as this was the third time we brought them back to her. She knew them! I tried to look past it, giving her the benefit of the doubt that she was just having a bad day. But I’ve tried to call back to schedule them twice now and they keep saying she’s not there and they can’t help me. I assume since they were “too much work”. I will take my babies and money elsewhere.

This was my first visit after a very nasty experience at PetSmart that left my girl terrified of being groomed. I was apprehensive leaving my baby at a new place but my groomer Eldora was very patient and willing to work with my fearful girl. My dog pranced out with a smile and great cut. I will continue coming back for the continuity of care!

Michelle's is such a great place! We take both our dogs there monthly and have been for almost a year now and ha e never had any sort of negative experience at all. Marie takes care of our pups and she does an awesome job! Even sent them home with Christmas gifts yesterday. The other staff are extremely friendly and always helpful and the prices are certainly fair enough. I highly recommend Michelle's Pretty Paws!

Marie was amazing! She took excellent care of our doggo, Miles. He got a bath, brush, ears, and nails done. We were nervous bc Miles had never had a grooming appt before and she said he did great. Our expectations were exceeded. He looks and smells great! Even got a cute bandana! Highly recommend Michelle's Pretty Paws particularly Marie. Thank you guys so much!

I take my puppy there to be groomed. He's a large dog and a bit rambunctious. They are always patient with him and do a wonderful job. Midweek is the best time to go, they aren't as busy and rushed. The Groomer usually gives me a report as to how he handled the experience and anything out of the ordinary they might have noticed (i.e. a bump or lump). I started taking him when he was 6 months old. He seem to be enjoying it more and more. He's aways overjoyed to see me when I pick him up and the most handsome guy!

Well first time for my boxer of 8yoa that I recently rescued and I was a bit nervous but got Maria as groomer and my dog did fantastic. She did a great job with him and put us both at ease. They even gave him a bandana and a treat bag. He looked and smelled so clean and good. All the staff was so nice. Highly recommend.

From start to finish, Everyone was so friendly. Our little fur baby was happy when I left her there and was very happy when I picked her up. Kelly was our Tech and she treated our little girl great. Thank you all there at the shop. We will be back. So worth it. Very happy clients!

I called to find out pricing and the girl who answered acted as if they were accepting new clients. She asked me the breed of my fur baby and I told her it was a Maltese and the girl immediately said we’re not accepting. New animals. First off my fur babies are not animals they are apart of my family. Second if you weren’t accepting new clients then why were you interested in the breed that I have. That is terrible service and not a great first interaction experience. Perception is everything.

These are by far the best groomers in Salisbury. Knowledgeable, conscious, and caring they take great care of your pet. I've been taking mine there 7 months now after a terrible experience at Petsmart. They renewed my belief in professionals and the difference is amazing. Thank you 😊

Super nervous first timer and Kellye was a blessing. I felt at ease as soon as I left Rota (100 lb German Shepherd) in her care. I received a call 10 minutes before he was done so I had a sufficient amount of time to getthere. Check in and out was very fast. They even gave him a treat bag and a very festive scarf! It’s been almost 2 weeks and he still smells so good. He looks absolutely incredible and this has already helped us so much with maintaining his shedding. Cleaned his ears and trimmed his nails as well. All for only $40! I couldn’t believe it. Will be back every month.Update: moved 2 hours away and I’m still coming back. Kellye has gone above and beyond for our Rota. I expressed how Rota had a terrible grooming experience when we moved and she came and sat in the car with him to calm him. When I came to pick him up she also put him in the car with a fresh bandana, many treats and a rope toy. I don’t know of any other place that would do that. Michelle’s pretty paws deserves 10 stars!

Kelly is our dogs spa girl. She does a great job and she is wonderful with our Kya. I love them all. They are all nice and professional and wonderful with the animals. I think they are very reasonable price too. I take my dog every couple months. I personally have a German shepherd and Kelly gives Kya a wonderful spa day. Bath, ears, nails, ect always gets a different neck tie everytime. I would highly recommend them to any one who wants a good and caring person to care for their fur kids.

For the price of $100 for a cut for my 25-30 pound dog - the cut was very uneven and her tail had three cuts down its length. I definitely will not be returning.

I was very happy with my first experience at Michelle's. Sam was my dog's groomer and even though I felt I wasn't exactly clear on the length and style I was hoping for, she seemed to read my thoughts and gave him the perfect cut. I will definitely return to Michelle's and book my appointment with Sam.

This group of caring individuals is awesome to work with!! We recently took our pup not knowing what the problem was only to learn it was an insect bite... Michelle cleaned it up, gave Lucy treats and a toy and then referred us to our vet... she treated Lucy like her own, she shows compassion and consideration to those of us who think our 4 legged friends are our children.Thank you Michelle and Eldora, we appreciate you very much!!
