OMG, I don't typically go to Food Lion anyway however I stopped in yesterday with my D.I.L and I won't be going to that one again. They are changing the layout of the store. I didn't like it at all. The meat department looked better before now it looks like a regular grocery store👎🏽

I ordered a cake from food Lion bakery and let me just tell you it was out of this world. It was better than what I could have imagined. My twins were turning 14. I have a boy and a girl. The colors were yellow and black. The lady took so much care in preparation for this beautiful cake! Thank you so very much! My twins were so happy

I shop here a lot. Today I interacted with 2 gentleman that were exceptional. The cashier was patient kind and helpful to the woman in front of me and another man stocking and putting things away found a $20 bull I dropped without knowing and returned it. What integrity! THANK YOU

This is the closest grocery store to my home and the store I use most.Since the remodel during Covid, it feels like there is more space. Aisles are wide, shelves, freezers, and coolers are stocked with a good variety. Store brand items are good quality and the staff is always super helpful. I can always find someone to assist when needed. There's plenty of parking in the well lit lot, with clearly marked spaces and enough cart corrals to keep carts out of parking areas.

I was doing some food shopping. My son was throwing a fit. I was getting beyond overwhelmed and anxious to the point that I was ready to break down and cry. The lady at my Foodlion was the sweetest soul ever, another young girl came up with these flower's trying to get rid of the Valentines Day flower's they had left for free, when I used to work at food lion, it's what they did. Out of all the people in the store. She came right up to me. I was overwhelmed, so I said no, thank you, I don't have the extra money for them today. She put them right in my cart an said no they are free." At this point, My son was still going nuts. She stood and my cashier was doing all they could in trying to play and keep him calm for me, while I finished getting my items rung up and pay for them. These women didn't have to do that. It meant the world to me, when I actually needed someone even for a second to be there for me they were and had no absolute idea. These two women I have never seen nor met in my life went out of their way to help me out more than they will ever know, mentally and emotionally. This is what great customer service is all about. We need more people in the world with a great attitude and a little compassion. You never know what someone may be going threw, mentally, physically or emotionally. I wish I cought both of their name's. I will be calling that store to give them praise!! I then went outside to load up everything, My son still throwing a fit, a sweet lady maybe my mother's age if not a little bit older walked up and said please let me help you. I see you have your hands full today, she said it reminded her of when her boys were that little. Just this all at one store happening to me. Has my heart filled with so much warmth today 💛 so heart Warming knowing their are still good people with good intentions out here. This whole post may seem so little but this was a huge thing in my eyes. This world needs more of these kind hearted souls, customer service is everything to me and they nailed it, just being themselves. I will never be able to thank them bith enough.The lady who wrong me up was on register one cashier 0135 Thank you and the other girl so much from the bottom of my heart ❤️ wish I cought her name as well as the other lady's name.

The location on Nanticoke rd in Salisbury has amazing customer service. The other day I thought I was back in 2005. Multiple check lines open, an associate bagged up my groceries very efficiently. I walked out with a smile on my face. Best grocery store trip I've had in the last 5 years.

This location has like 20 employees stocking with only 3 cashiers with 1 as the 12 items or less cashier. I'm standing in line writing this review, been in line for 10mins and i still have 3 other people in front of me.its gonna be 30mins before I get checked out !!! Like seriously put more cashiers up !!!

This is my close to home go to grocery store. Good variety, good prices, friendly staff, clean. For the husbands out there, they have one(1) dozen roses for $9.99! Great quality too. Grab some on the way home from work for the Mrs.(or Mr.?).

It seems like no matter which Food Lion location you go to they're all the same. They always seem to have what the big box store stores don't. They all seem to be very well managed. They're all clean well-stocked and the employees always seem polite not to mention the MVP card will save you tons of money. I really like Food Lion. The only problem is if you leave this area you just don't see Food Lion stores.

Worst food lion I've ever been to. Almost nothing on the shelves. It's like a year ago in here. Shantrice is the most unbelievably ignorant cashier I've ever seen. A woman in front of us got out of line. Shantrice rang us up, then the woman strolled back up, at which point the cashier canceled our order out as we were about to pay, and went back to waiting on this other lady! Never seen anything like it. Must be nice to have your friends working at the store...I'd give minus stars if I could.

This has got to be the worst supermarket in Salisbury, Maryland. The management is, basically, non-existent; most of the staff is rude. There is never enough cashiers to handle the amount of customers they have. The ONLY reason I go there is because it's convenient to where I live. All the other Food Lion stores in the area are clean, friendly and well staffed. I avoid this store as much as possible!

Not good at all. Cashier was very unfriendly. Not use to that at this location. Put some of my grocery in bags then laid a bag on top of the things she didn't want to take time to bag. She needs to go or be trained to represent this location. I guess there's a first time for everything.

They really do it correct at this franchise!!!! You may pay a little more,BUT what price do you pay for a well stocked store friendly employees, and help when you ask!!!! I have even had offers to help me with my groceries at more than one of these locations!!!!!
