Andrea does a great job on my Labradoodle Coco. We have been coming here for about two years now. We have had tried other groomers before at the local pet store and the kennel but she never looks as pretty in the face as with Andrea. She also never puts our dog down or claims she is difficult to do as others have. We are lucky to have this salon.

We took our 2 year old Golden retriever to Cathy's (first time at the groomer) and he looked stunning when we picked him up. He looked like a show dog! Nails trimmed, ears cleaned, paws and ears trimmed, fur washed and smelling amazing and more!! So impressed with the quality of work she does and the price is such a great value in my opinion! We will definitely be back!

Today was my dogs first visit to Cathy’s, but not my first experience here. I tell everyone I can about Caitlin and have sent client dogs to her before she was there. But since she has been at Cathy’s it has been wonderful to watch her love for all things grooming grow as well as her talent. She’s a true dog girl! She has found a great team to help her grow and I would not dream of taking my dog to any where else or to anyone else. Choose Caitlin and you will never be disappointed!

I love the grooming of my furbaby. I also took my 2 chihuahuas to have there nails done. They would not let me trim them so I did not want to stress them out. Brenda could hold them up to her chess and do thier nails they just laid against her and no growling. They have since passed away but lived a long and happy life. I will always take Teddy to Cathy's.

I’ve learned so much about the care of my English Bulldogs over the years. Christi is an amazing groomer, but also very knowledgeable about the care and keeping of healthy dogs. We just moved to this area and were referred to Cathy's a neighbor. I am glad we went. My pup needed a serious grooming as his hair grows very quickly. Cathy's had an opening the day after I called and was able to fit us in. She did a wonderful job! Tank looks and feels so much better. Thanks Christi for your time! We will be back.

Our dog has been going to Cathy's daycare for 2 years. She is very shy of people, but when I pull into the daycare and open my car door, Ellie literally pushes me out of the car and pulls me to the door, then starts looking for her daycare mom, who she adores, she literally jumps up and wags her tail when she see her, She follows her everywhere. I know my dog is safe and secure and I truly know Ellie is happy and loves going to daycare.

I'm the owner of Carver, who is a black lab puppy I rescued back in March of this year. I would like to take a moment and discussion the amazing facility and relationship I have with Cathy's Pet Salon and Spa. My family and I have been using their services for 12+ years and never had a bad experience. Carver is a barely 1 year old lab. Labs are one of the most rambunctious dog breeds known to man. I found Carver trying to cop with losing my golden retriever, Tangier, of 16 years of life which Cathy's also groomed, trained, and even stay over at the owner's house on dozens of occasions. After a traumatic experience I had to go through and with some road blocks after that of trying to find a dog, I was blessed enough to find Carver. The very first day I had Carver, I took him to Cathy's and had him at day care. He goes every day they are open and loves it. He rushes to the door to go in and drags his feet at the end of the day to leave. He's a happy, compassionate puppy. A lot of that has to due with Cathy's expertise on doggy training behavior. I recently discovered some allegations have been made about my dog's treatment and the treatment of other dogs at Cathy's and I would like to clear some of the preposterous nonsense. There is no metal bat, it is a wiffle ball bat which consist of plastic wrapped in foam that is used only when dogs get out of control in a situation and need to be corrected with the tap on the butt. You must use touch and voice to train dogs. Everyone that has their dogs attend day care know they use a wiffle ball bat. My dog has never come up bloody, shaken, scared, timid, latching out, being defiant, and everything else you could thing of. My dog is happy, well mannered, lovable, interacts great with people and other dogs. This all has to do with the expertise at Cathy's. My dog has spent majority of his life that I have owned him at Cathy's than in my own possession due to my work and travel. They don't choke out dogs, or anything to that matter. I would love to see this supposed "graphic video" and the several incidents of Carver being "beaten repeatedly". I really would because I know it doesn't exist. If anyone would like to contact me, please do so. I would high recommend this facility. I would not go anywhere else.

My dog was stripped down in the parking lot, scared & writhing with a rope lead around his neck. I picked him up & did hand him off. His bath took 5 minutes & the nail trim had hang nails. $48 plus tip. Never again.

This is a professional, well taken care of business that focuses on dog care and does a wonderful job with just about any personality and size of dog. My springer loves going to daycare she wags going in the door and wags on way out. Grooming is excellent and the people are friendly. I know my dog is well cared for and loves it!

Christy is an excellent dog groomer! My Shih Tzu loves going there and he looks precious every time. I have learned more about his fungal skin infections and how to treat them from Christy , than I have from my veterinarian. She speaks to me in layman’s terms about his yeast problem and her own experiences with it, and because of that, I’ve been able to do enough research to almost CURE him on my own! No more $300 vet visits!

We had our lab and golden retriever groomed today and they came out so happy after spending time at Cathy’s.The lab is anxious and fearful and they handled him perfectly!!!The Golden had such an overgrown coat and they were thorough and really patient with him.He looks so nice and is so happy.The hydrotherapy bath is a special treat for our dogs.We’ve tried other places and Cathy’s is by FARabove and beyond in service, knowledge, professionalism and cost.Hershey and Bleu’ Have a new safe place to be groomed and get spoiled!!Suzanne Overton OHara

My dog had a terrible experience here! Andrea was dragging my dog, choking her with the slip on leash that they provide while my dog is screaming. I explained she has terrible anxiety and that I would like to be in the room with her but they refused to let me and forced me outside to wait. I went against my best judgement and allowed them to continue to take her to cut her nails. Shortly after, I see the door open and, again, she drags my dog outside while the leash is choking her and my dog is trying to scream for help. I got her in the car and she was shaking uncontrollably and crying. All of quicks were cut so there is blood covering the interior of my new car and when she got out of the car, I noticed she was limping. When I drove back to the salon to advise of the condition of my dog, Andrea and the manager were ridiculously rude and had no remorse for anything. I was told that the condition of dog and the interior of my car is not their problem and they would not refund me or even look at the interior of my car. Nobody in that salon cared about what had happened and the manager said that “these things happen all of the time.” The language and choice of wording from the manager and employees was completely unacceptable and very offensive. Please do not take your dog there! My dog keeps wincing every time I approach her to pet her and I’ve never put my hands on her to correct her in her whole life. I’m not trying to say that she got hit while under their care for 10 minutes but she’s never winced before today. You cannot trust your pets with them. They are wreckless and do not care about the dogs well being at all, or the wishes of the owner. I have pictures of the damage as well as my dogs nails if anyone doesn’t believe me. I will never ever go back there and I sincerely hope you don’t either.

I am a animal rescue who first seen that this place dyed some dogs different colors. Would first not recommend this. I would RECOMMEND any one going here to read All the reviews and not just the ones on top . Next thing I do is look at reviews and I was shocked to learn that the owner beat a dog with a bat. Seems like a lot of hate towards animals to me. I see many people cover this up by adding good reviews but it does not take away the fact that you inflicted pain on a dog via animal abuse. I remember this story when it came out about a dog being beaten but assumed you would have been jailed. Our system is broken and here you are still working with dogs

My mom took her little Shizuto be groomed last week. When she picked her up her breathing was not good. Two days later she passed away. She was fine before her grooming visit. This dog was my mom's world, she is devastated 😢

We called and left a message on their machine on a Wed. early afternoon...looking for more information since we were considering them for grooming our 3 Yorkies. Their website is rather vague with their pricing and is not well laid out. Nobody returned our call Wed. or Thurs. morning. So, we called back and talked to Christi. We were told they had been closed Wed., yet their hours include Wednesdays. Christi is not a people person. The way she talked to us had us concerned about how our Yorkies would be treated. We decided to see if there were any reviews about "Cathy's Pet Salon". Apparently this is the same place that was on South Salisbury Blvd. but is now on Mount Hermon Rd. We found some reviews where others also had concerns regarding the treatment of their fur-babies. We took our Golden Retriever to Cathy's many years ago & were very pleased, but that was when Cathy was working out of a house in Fruitland. After today's conversation with Christi, my Yorkies will not be going there. We certainly hope her daughter treats dogs better than people, but from what we’ve read, we think not. They lost a 3 dog regular customer.
