Big Lots is alright. It’s almost exactly like Walmart. Except for the prices being a little less to high prices. We went there for job Seeking as part of my outing LSE ( Lower Shore Enterprises) to look for some neat things that they do for work that I might be interested in. But So far Big Lots is an Ok store.

Family friendly atmosphere. Prices are reasonable especially if your a Rewards Member. Friends and Family day you get an extra 20% off. They even have furniture on site and you can use Progressive to pay in installments. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Unique and well appointed store with items for everyday needs or the large type purchase. Definitely would return. Great prices and inventory selection on living room furniture as well as many other areas of need.

This store is very nice. It's neat and organized and at the moment quickly shuffling through holiday merchandise. Friendly staff too! That's unheard of.

Great sales and super helpful staff. I'm not sure what his name is but a young African-American gentleman helped us with a mattress purchase a few days ago and he was fantastic! Polite, helpful and best of all, patient with 2 old farts. Lol Give that man a raise!

Big lots. Big parking lot. Can accommodate a large rv. Easy on and off at a light. Clean store. Fully stocked. Bathrooms were a 5 out 10. Bring your own bag or you will be paying for theirs. Customer service could use alittle tlc.

Not much of a selection on much of anything. But the one good thing is is the staff. It's so refreshing to enter a store and not feel as though you've just entered the lower levels of h3ll. Most places you go into employees act as though they hate their jobs. Not here. Everyone is always busy but they also stop what they're doing to help you if you ask them.That's an A+ in my book every day.

I was totally impressed with the excellent service that I received from Mel at the Fruitland big lot. He took care of me while the furniture manager was doing the truck. His customer care was indeed something to be recognized. He certainly will increase sales if he takes care of all customers the way he took care of me. We need more like him in sales positions. Thanks Mel.

I have said same thing over and over they need to price the merchandise. Employeewas nice . Absolutely is you do not have your Big Lots credit card there has been several times I ended up paying with other card embarrassed greatly when state declined ( for what ) pay two payments a month and I had a license and other I.D. So decision to pay them off and not ever use their cardagain. I have good credit. I bought a chair from them 9 months ago and my husband has fixed it twice having to replace wood frame parts and put nuts on bolts they were not even there. Quality control is pathetic.

I bought a sofa from big lots.com and picked it up at my local store (Fruitland). When we picked it up it was in a box and it looked intact. Once we got it put together we realized that parts are missing (the side wings). I emailed the company and never heard anything back. I finally called the customer service line today and was told that I had to call the local office. After being on hold or never being answered, I decided to place this review. If you are considering buying furniture from big lots, stop now!! The customer service is terrible!!!! And I am really wondering if I will ever be able to get my parts. Maybe I will just return it and go elsewhere.

In general I love BIG LOTS but like most of the economy their prices have gone up and so I’m not sure it’s worth it anymore to shop here because the bargains aren’t as good. And I know it does vary by store, but the selections aren’t as varied as it used to be.

Employees want nothing to do with the customers. We stood in line while they gossiped to each other about another employee. The shopping selection is nice, and their couches and stuff looked like good quality.

Love them they always have some new and different in stock at great prices. I bought a tablet from there about 9 or 10 years ago and it was the best tablet ever I wish you guys would bring electronics back near the registers again.

Refeshingly great customer service! Kind staff introduced themselves and greeted everyone that came in the door even though they were busy with other things. I was asked several times during my shopping if I was okay or if they could help me in any way.

I LOVE Big Lots. I go in there to find unusual things. The prices are so reasonable as well. So why 3 stars? The staff. I went in there to buy a cabinet for my kitchen. I watched the salesman approach several other customers. And then he went and sat back behind the desk. So I didn't buy any furniture that day. I went home and ordered it online.

Brought some items that we're on sale. Clerk said to spend $8 more dollars for a total of $50 and you get $10 off. So of course we did. In the end sale items came up more than regular price but wet didn't know it until we were almost gone. Check your prices and check receipt.
