Scenic View market has been my favorite fruit & veg stand for many years. The fruit is always perfectly ripe, the veg are always fresh, and everyone is neighborly. It's my one-stop shop for produce, local honey and terrific fresh bread on the weekend. The seasonal flower arrangements are GORGEOUS, and my mom looks forward to them all Summer long. The plants are well-cared for and healthy. The selection of local snacks and beverages, like carmel corn puffs, cheese, soda and cider is delicious. There is a large selection of local canned goods and other specialties. Best wishes to Scenic View for many, many more years in business!

I usually like to come to the Tuesday market at the Frederick YMCA because the sweet corn is so good, but this last time was a major, major turnoff. I've never found the people who work the market to be particularly friendly, but this time one of the older men working there shoved my child's hand away from the produce when my boy had the audacity just to pick it up and look at it. My son is three. That's what they do. And no one has the right to touch him. When I confronted the guy, he got a bad attitude, saying he didn't do anything to him, no apology forthcoming. "Not doing anything" to my son is not the point. My son didn't do anything to your precious produce, either. Touch my son without permission again and I'm bringing a lawyer into it. That's if I come back at all. Selling produce doesn't require your employees to be jerks.

It's a beautiful mountain drive to their store. Store is stocked with a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetable , jellies, juices, eggs and even fresh cut flowers! My family has been going here for decades. Check them out.The Nectarine/ Peach lady

I bought the most delicious heirloom tomatoes and peppers from this farm sold at Frederick’s farmers market. I brought the produce home, not expecting much, after my extensive experience with mediocre produce in the US. However, once I tried the salad I made with the tomatoes, the explosion of flavor was phenomenal! They tasted just like the tomatoes my dad grows back home in Eastern Europe. Eating such tasty tomatoes for the first time since I came to the US really made my day! I hope this farm continues to grow this variety. It’s totally worth driving there for their produce!

I think this is my favorite local farm market in the area so far. Their pricing was super reasonable and the person working was incredibly sweet. It's a little off the beaten path, but is 100% worth the visit.

We have been buying our fresh produce from Scenic View Orchards for many years. We have never been disappointed with anything we bought there. We love the beautiful drive up 550 to the main market. For convenience there are several markets closer. We love the spinach, strawberries, cherries, cucumbers, spring onions, tomatoes, melons, ..peaches are to die for ...and the potatoes and apples are wonderful. Last year we discovered the applesauce. It is great. There is just no comparison to what you buy in the store..I give five stars hands down... They are the Cream of the Crop

Don't bother with the 2nd white peaches! Not worth it. Nine out ten are unsweat and tasteless. The beefstake tomoatos are ok.

Great place to get local fruit and vegetables. Mainly a fruit market from their own orchard. Very clean with friendly and helpful counter people. Only place I know that has pear cider as well as apple cider. Also, an assortment of eggs, chicken, turkey, duck and goose. Many McCutcheon's products are available. Scenic drive to get there off of the highway.

My sisters family and I, are now eating the Green beans we canned and the Sweet corn we froze that we bought during the 2016 summer from Scenic. I have NEVER tasted anything better than these!!! So tender and the Flavor OMGosh. The Corn is so sweet and held it's flavor extremely well.This year we will double our order, We recommend Scenic View to anyone You Can't go wrong We will always return, you guys do a great job Thanks...........Pete Knill and Julie Hildebrand

They set up a stand here in Rockville Town Square every Wednesday around lunch time. Their fruit and veggies is the best I've found. Today I bought peaches, brussel sprouts, apples and pears. They never disappoint - love their stuff!
