One of the best Local Fish Stores in Baltimore County. They have some of the healthiest inventory available as well as a decent variety. They mostly specialize in freshwater and Cichlids, however they do have a single wall of saltwater tanks filled with fish and invertebrate. Their plant and aqua hardscape selection is very decent for such a small store. On my first trip there, I purchased several pounds of dragon stone, some extra large java ferns and a driftwood centerpiece, all fairly priced. More on pricing, Go Fish have very competitive pricing and usually have quantity discounts for both fish and plants. The staff has always been extremely helpful in answering my questions and has always been more than happy to assist. Truly a Mom and Pop small business that puts the customer first!

Awesome shop, awesome staff! Her name escapes me but the woman who was there was so incredibly friendly and helpful, she even made me a drawing of a 2 stage diy co2 system and all I did was mention I was running a single bottle diy! The staff was very kind, showing us the mudskippers and explaining to us any questions we had. Great selection of hard to find products, fantastic Indian Almond Leaves! This place is now on my favorite LFS’s list!

I bought 2 snails from here and they were both perfectly healthy. The lady who was there was nice and extremely helpful. I plan to go back for more fish in the future. Highly recommend.

The older gentlemen who I assume was the owner was a bit snarky with me. I also felt like he assumed I knew nothing about fish. However the reason for this five star review was the health of the fish, as well as the assortment. I’ve been to almost every fish store in the area and go fish has them beat in both those areas. I purchased 2 flower shrimp and a yo-yo loach and they are all thriving in their new 75 gallon home. They were all eating and happy within the first hour! I can safely say this place is where I will be purchasing all of my fish in the future.

Yesterday was the first time in this store. Found this jem settled in nicely in our 150 gallon tank. Showing its colors already picture doesn't do it justice. Along I found some nice fish to add to my micro tank. Still need plants but have not found what I want yet. For a smaller store they have a nice variety. Staff was super helpful. Definitely worth the trip even if we got cought up in the storm! Love that they post updated fish on web! That's a plus in my book!

These ppl ( the lady ) was so nice & friendly...and let's not forget helpful in every way! They will make me the best grandma ever! Haven't setup a fishtank in years but now I'm doing it for my 12yr old granddaughter and she wants Eels 🙄for her 13th bday. You want Knowledge of fish...Go Fish is the place to go! We set up our first fish tank and decided to stop by this store to buy our first couple of fish. Both of the owners were super helpful and friendly. We can't thank them enough for all of their recommendations and assistance. Great selection and very knowledgeable owners.

The husband that owns this place is RUDE!! Do not buy from here. Do not support a man or business who treats people and customers this way. He refused a sale to me after I asked about a price due to me not being able to read the handwriting on the tank. He gave me attitude and a rude response. I asked if it was okay to buy a certain fish from the tank and he looked at me and said no. Dumped the water and walked away. I told my friends who joined me what happened. His wife offered to help but I said it’s okay. I just won’t get any fish. The husband then approached and started yelling at me at the top of his lungs and pointing his finger in my face. This was infront of his wife, other customers in the store, my friends and my 7 year old son. We all ended up walking out. Honestly, we ended up finding the same fish at Tom’s Tropical’s healthier, better selection and cheaper. They are a lot nice and knowledgeable there as well. Do not support Go Fish. Support a better local small business that deserves it. This man should not be working in customer service or owning a store if he has that much anger over asking a simple question about a product. Neither should his wife if she supports that kind of behavior.

Love this place for both fish and plants. Have gotten some incredible Endlers and koi guppies, as well as rarer types like habrosus Cories. All of the fish I’ve bought there have gone on to thrive, and the Amano shrimp are just huge now.

They run a really good business there and everything that you need to know about what you're doing when you comes to buying the type of fish you want how your water should be how many fish you should get at a time was great I would recommend this Place for everybody to go to. It's not typical she ia somebody that has a passion the owner cares about what she's doing and just doesn't want the money.

I had such a wonderful experience in this store. I recently got my very first aquarium, and I came here to look for decorations and see what else they carry. One of the owners helped me and she was very friendly and personable and happy to take the time to make sure I was aware of all of the essential equipment I need for my first tank, even though she wasn’t trying to sell stuff to me.They have bins of bog wood and various types of rocks sold by weight that you can take your time to pick through. I got a bunch of them and browsed the fish, too. Plenty of freshwater angelfish. Discus, electric blue acara, and african cichlids as well. They have a great selection of fish, and I will be back when my tank is ready! I forgot to ask if they sell live plants.Thank you for making me feel welcome as a newbie.

$$$ The owners have an amazing variety of exotic salt water species, the only downside is the fish and equipment (tanks,accessories) sold here are outrageously priced. My friend and i walked in out of curiosity (we thought it was a restaurant) and casually mentioned thinking about getting fish, the store clerk proceeded to try and sell us a $800 tank quoting it as the best deal.

Always a good day when I can get to this store. They have a great selection of aquatic needs and wants , as long as you talk to the lady first and let the guy keep doing his thing (whatever he's doing) it's a pretty enjoyable experience always insightful and helpful with all of my questions and very personal and professional 9 out a 10.

So the owner guy is definitely rude - I can't argue with the other reviews here that state that. However, the lady is very nice and helpful and is very knowledgeable. You do have to be patient since it's just the two of them. That being said their stock is overall healthy and the lady there will let you pick individuals as much as she possibly can. I am building up my 75 gallon peaceful community tank and they have been instrumental.

Wish we could properly rate this store but we waited for 15 minutes after they were supposed to open and no one was there to let us in. Lost what could have been a lifelong customer. Guy looked at me twice but never came to open the door or even acknowledged I existed standing at the door with my two children in nearly 90° weather. We would rather drive nearly an hour to Glen Burnie House of Tropicals than try again here.

I highly recommend Go Fish! I Love this LFS. Lots of wonderful fish and all you need to care for them. The Owners are very knowledgeable. They have been very helpful for me when I am having tank trouble. I never even realized it was there till I started a tank after not having one for 10+ yrs.

When I walked into the store, I didn't see anyone, then I saw an older man who pretty much acted like I was invisible. Then I saw an older lady come to the front of the store, who was very kind and knowledgeable. Not the cleanest or most organized place, but not horrible. The tanks could use some care and cleaning. It's aslo a small store, not a large selection of anything. As well as not a lot of room to move around. Also seemed under staffed. Though for being under staffed, they they're good about answering the phone. Prices were reasonable, I would come back.

I always have a lovely time when I visit Go Fish. I have gotten a couple fish from them, and they are all gorgeous. Their aquariums are beautiful and well maintained, and their fish are happy and healthy. Easily my go-to for aquarium supplies and fish (as well as shrimp, snails, and others)!

Super friendly lady who works at the desk! The older gentleman, not so sure, never said hi to me once hahha they do have very healthy fish! They breed their own also! And the lady loves dogs so she won’t mind if you bring yours along :) that’s a big plus!

Absolutely amazing experience here! All the animals are very well taken care of and the staff was very kind to my 5 year old son! You can tell the difference between the fish here and the fish you see at Petco and such. (They’re actually happy, for one.) I cannot recommend coming here enough!!

When I first started out getting fish I had no knowledge at all. I went to go fish from a friend's reference. The place was packed people everywhere. I waited my turn and I was treated like royalty these guys know their business they have quality healthy product I love them. Two days before going there I had bought fish from another place I won't name it. They were dead in two days I've bought fish from go fish and they are the healthiest most beautiful fish I've have I'd go there every day if I could.

Let the buyer beware! While the plants I got seemed very healthy, they also came with 2 kinds of pest snails, eggs, duckweed, and flatworms! Make sure you thoroughly rinse your plants that you get from here, because you might be getting more than you bargined for.

We shouldn't have bought from here. The fish are cheap, but the aquariums are filthy. The Oscar we bought has white clumps on his gill. We're treating the tank for bacteria....will post an update
