My pup and I absolutely adore Sniffers. The staff are amazing. Especially Jonathan. You can truly see the passion and love they have for the dogs. It warms my heart to see my little girl getting hugs and kisses from the team while I’m at work. When I adopted her, she was fearful of men and very nervous and insecure. The team has done such a wonderful job giving her space and working with her through her challenges. She has progressed so much in the few months she has been going to Sniffers. I love seeing her run for joy and snuggle up to all the wonderful team (both men and women) at Sniffers. Jonathan one of the main reasons we will never go anywhere else. Keep up the great work!

We came to Sniffer’s based on a friend’s recommendation. Joy did a fantastic job grooming our large golden doodle who can be reactive to people and dogs. I didn’t recognize her when she came out! Adorable! It was a relief to hear that they had absolutely no problems and that she was very well behaved which I credit to Joy being able to handle her.

Our puppy loves going to Sniffers and has learned a lot already, just in his first week of puppy training! It’s a great facility with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. They all really seem to enjoy what they do, and are great with the dogs. I’m so glad we found Sniffers for our puppy.

Sniffers Doggie Retreat has provided outstanding customer service! We boarded our pet Mosita at their facility for 3 nights in April 2024, and we were extremely pleased with their responsiveness, care, and attention for our pet. While my husband and I were traveling, I requested through their website a way to view our pet during play activities. Within 15 min, we received a text message back with the link on their multi view webcam. At a separate time, I inquired about how Mosita was doing through a text message, and I received an update within 15 -20 min. The facility staff seem to really enjoy and love caring for the pets. They are amazing! We highly recommend it!

We've been taking our dog to Sniffers for 3 years now, both for once-a-week daycare and occasional boarding. The staff is wonderful, and the facility is much cleaner than other places I've been to. Our dog literally jumps for joy when we go there, so I know she is well cared for and happy. A shout out to Jonathan who is always welcoming, great at handling the pups and the front desk, and seems to genuinely love dogs!

This was Winston’s first visit to Sniffers. He deals with separation anxiety and is picky about people touching his face. As far as I can tell, he is happy after his groom with Joy. She really listened to what we were looking for and did an amazing job. The girl at the front desk was really nice as well and provided excellent service. Overall, I only take away one star because this morning I was not greeted in a friendly manner by two other female employees…they ignored me. We will still be returning for grooming services in the future.

We were looking for a different boarding experience for our very energetic labradoodle. A good friend of our recommended Sniffers. We did a drop-in visit, which was super easy, and followed up with the temperament testing. Everything about the experience was easy! From then on we tried the drop-in daycare, which proved to very good experience for our pooch to socialize. We recently signed up for the subscription service, which we expect to enjoy as well. Lastly, we really appreciate Jonathan who we feel loves our dog and looks out for him. Thanks, Sniffers staff!

In short: Sniffers is fantastic, and Laura is amazing. Highly recommend for any type of training, but especially if you need help with more complex behaviors like separation anxiety. I enrolled my dog in the board and train program to address some persistent anxiety and fear-based aggression, and both mine and my dog's quality of life are vastly improved because of it. If you are honest with Laura and Dylan about the specific behaviors of your dog, willing to listen to the them and do the work alongside them, you will be very happy with the results.Longer review:I came to Sniffers in a pretty desperate state, after several years trying to manage my dog's separation anxiety and fear-based aggression. I couldn't leave her alone, couldn't have company over, and was bleeding money taking her to daycares and boarding facilities when I couldn't be with her. I'd worked with other trainers and followed various methods, but hadn't found anything that stuck. I contacted Sniffers at the recommendation of a local daycare facility, and Laura and Dylan were very fast to respond. Within a day, Laura was on the phone with me to discuss the specifics, and within a week she scheduled a meet & greet with me.Laura understood the behaviors I was struggling with, helped me establish realistic training goals, and patiently walked me through the process and steps she takes to address them. She ensured I understood what she does, why she does it, and how to continue implementing her methods to get results that stick. Throughout the 6-week board and train period, she provided very frequent updates on my dog's progress, including many photos and videos of training lessons. She met with me multiple times during the board and train to teach me the training methods and let me see how my dog was doing.After the board and train period, Laura has been with me every step of the way. She stays in constant communication, answering every question I have and scheduling in-person lessons to address specific needs. I listened to and followed her recommendations, and as a result have been able to leave my dog alone and have company over for the first time in YEARS. Laura is very transparent throughout the process and very committed to helping you reach the training goals defined at the start.Overall, I highly recommend Sniffers for any training needs you have. If you're honest about your dog's behaviors and willing to follow their recommendations, both you and your dog will have a better quality of life.

Our 5 month old pup, Stevie is halfway through the four week puppy day training program and we couldn't be more pleased!The trainers, Dylan and Sean are a great team, providing a wealth of knowledge and expertise and having a wonderful way with dogs (and communicating very well with the humans). They seem to tailor the training to fit the personality of each dog while giving the manageable number of dogs in the program the special attention they need.Stevie is making so much progress and she loves going there each morning, hopping out of the car, tail wagging as she rushes through the front door where the staff members at the desk are all so welcoming. Best of all, she comes home calm and relaxed and exhausted from her day of play and training.Thank you Sniffers team for all that you do!

We always kennel our dogs with Sniffers. The play area cameras are helpful- we even caught one of the staff carrying around our small dog and bouncing him like a baby- very comforting to see the personalized loving care.Also, our dogs have not complained yet about their stay.

Really appreciate this place, starting with their staff's professionalism and kindness from the moment we walked through the door. It is reasonably priced and multiple employees have mentioned that they bring their own dogs here, as well. That made me feel a lot better about the treatment of my dog, and the webcams that show play time add to their transparency. My dog jumps out of the car and leads me forcefully inside now. He LOVES it here!

After having a negative experience at another boarding facility, I am so grateful that we found SNIFFERS! I typically feel guilty about boarding my dogs, but I knew that they were in great hands at SNIFFERS. It was such a relief knowing that my beloved dogs were safe, comfortable, and getting great care, as well as regular stimulation and socialization. I could tell that Max and Haley were having a great time because I got to watch them live in doggy daycare thanks to the SNIFFERS webcams. For me, the fact that SNIFFERS offers live video feeds of their daycare rooms says a lot about the quality of care and transparency of the operations, and I was really impressed with all that I saw. Watching my dogs in action while I was gone was delightful and gave me total peace of mind. The staff are all clear animal lovers who strive to create a wonderful environment for the dogs; they truly get to know every dog that comes in, so you can rest assured that your dog will get personal attention, exercise, and attentive care. I would highly recommend SNIFFERS to anyone looking for doggy daycare and/or a wonderful retreat for their dog(s).

Our dog Biscuit has stayed at Sniffers Retreat day care and boarding and we have always had a great experience. She gets a bath after her stay at boarding which is the best part 🙂. We have had a good experience here and would recommend this place.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Sniffers! Can’t say enough great things about the facility. My pup gets excited when we pull up so this is a great sign. The groomer is amazing and the staff is very friendly. You just know that when you walk in to the facility, your pup will be treated like royalty. Whether you’re looking for grooming, boarding or daycare, just know you will be leaving your babies in great hands!

My dog has been coming here for months! He’s been for daycare, grooming, and boarding, and we are always happy with each service we receive. I love this place as much as my dog does! He’s always excited to come here, he has a lot of fun playing with the other dogs. The facility is always clean which makes me feel comfortable with leaving my dog. All of the staff are kind and respectful; we’ve literally never had a problem here. This is one of the best facilities I’ve ever brought my dog to, I highly recommend!

Ok I can not say enough good things about this place, they always take care of my dog and make sure he’s comfortable and gets his exercise in during daycare. The groomers are amazing! He gets cut to a perfect length every time that’s comfortable for him and so he can easily move around and go to the bathroom when needed and his nails seem like they are drilled every time! Which I really appreciate since when he just gets them cut they still seem to cut my mother and I and catch on to stuff. I can’t recommend this place more. keep up the great work sniffers!

My dog has never been happier, the staff is always so amazing with him. As soon as he gets out of the car his tails wagging! The person who does grooming is also so amazing . My dog always looks so handsome after his visits! I was nervous at first to take him anywhere but SNIFFERS has made it so easy and an amazing experience for me and my puppy!!!

Our 14 year old Shih Tzu went for grooming. He's completely deaf, mostly blind, arthritic, and has high anxiety, which I explained when I called, even though he'd been there before. I set it up for 830am drop off and asked that he be done first thing to minimize stress in the crate. That was confirmed. I went over it all again when I dropped him off, and said I'd be nearby to pickup around 10 or 1030. At 10:30 I went there and was told he wouldn't be groomed until 12noon. No explanation why. I asked for my dog, expressed my displeasure and left. The manager was smug and unapologetic. Two hours later and my dog is limping. They had bathed him, a little too aggressively I think. Bottom line: don't go here if you have a senior or special needs dog, or anything out of the ordinary to communicate.

I love it here but my pup loves it more. I’ve been bringing him here for daycare and he’s having the best time. It’s every clean and organized and all the staff here are very polite and helpful. I’ll be going away for the holiday and I plan on sending my baby here for boarding. The best part is they have a free webcam so you can watch and see all the doggies playing.

Our dog has a challenging coat - to the extent that we end up shaving him every three months or so. We’ve tried a number of other groomers, but he always winds up too short with irritated skin or some other strangeness going on. At Sniffers, the groomer always gets it just right. Would definitely recommend their grooming services. Haven’t used them for daycare or boarding.

Incredibly impressed with Sniffers training program- their professionalism, dedication and genuine care about the dogs in their custody were truly transformative for our very difficult dog. They spent so much time with us explaining every aspect of the program, as well as long term roadmap. They took great care to situate our dog in our house after the program, as well as gave us open lessons with hands on instruction and demonstration. They also gave us all sorts of equipment and recommendations for products. They are not only experts in their field with many years of experience and demonstrated results, but also, they genuinely care about the individual need of each dog and dog owner. This was our first time leaving our little Marley with Sniffers. Marley has a ton of anxiety and paranoia issues, so we were concerned this wouldn't go well.To our surprise, Marley looked super happy this morning when picking her up. I adopted a dog last year and I needed a place that could provide training, daycare and boarding. I really struck gold when I found Sniffers. Their training staff Jordan and Dylan were amazing and really helped Hamilton adjust as a puppy being in a new environment. He was able to outgrow a lot of typical puppy bad Hahn with their help. The entire staff is always friendly and attentive and simply love Hamilton and he loves them (it’s like his Disney World). He looks forward to playing with his friends in daycare. I never worry on the rare occasions when I need to board him. They take such good care of him. I recommend them to anyone looking for a safe clean place for their fur baby!

My dog went to Sniffers for years. The staff was great and he really liked it. Got so excited each time we pulled into the parking lot.During pandemic customer service really dropped. A lot of turnover. Staff not as friendly or competent. After last boarding, I was given another dogs belongings. Left me wondering who's food my dog had been eating all week.My dog now goes somewhere else for daycare and boarding.

We have a large breed puppy and we were looking at local daycare facilities in the area to take her too to help run off some energy during the day. We liked that Sniffers required a temperament test before signing up for daycare days to see how your dog plays and reacts with others. After passing the temperament class we were offered free daycare days to use within a week to see if they were a good fit for our dog. The next time we brought her, as soon as we rounded the corner, she knew where she was and got very excited. She walked with the staff member without a glance back! It’s great to know she’s happy to be there and periodically checking the webcam and seeing her play with other dogs is such a good feeling. We will definitely be purchasing more daycare days!

I used to work here and I’ve seen behind closed doors. So I was a tad worried at first because my dog is my baby and I’m a helicopter mom with her but I watched her on the cams during her evaluation and I was so happy! She did so well and was so happy to be there! And was super happy when she came back out! I can’t wait to bring her there again.
