Usually very well stocked. The staff (including supervisors) are well trained and very helpful to all customers. Well done!! Pharmacists & staff in pharmacy are extremely helpful too.

Do you like expired yogurt? Do you like expired fresh produce? Do you like paying more for your groceries than at Harris Teeter and Giant (I hate Giant)? Do you like excuses from management about why the expired yogurt problem (I only buy one of 2 brands so it’s probably more widespread than I am seeing) continues? Then you should shop here more often. I will say that the Pharmacy Deparment is exceptionally well staffed and always pleasant. I will never have to go to Walgreens again.

It's not very big, but it is still very goodParking is available easilyI liked the staff they were very friendlyWhat I didn't like was that the Starbucks as the server was very slow and an inconcederant. The sink faucet was broken and was dripping water during the 20 minutes of waitingCounter and sinks were not clean, and the batista seemed very tired and frustratedI could shout out for some management support

I did not have a good experience today at all. One register open with a very rude cashier, customer service was a joke. I usually really like going here because can get some decent deals and the lay out of store is easy to navigate but after today I'm not sure I'll be back or not

My wife and I shop in this Safeway every week. The store is ok, personal and managers are very friendly, but the seafood department is bad. The person who works there is very unfriendly. If you ask him something, he will make a very unhappy face. Very often the fish there is not fresh. Last time my wife and I wanted to buy salmon there. Based on previous bad experiences, we decided to unwrap the tray and smell the fish. The smell was terrible. The fish was rotten.The "owner" in the response below asked me to visit the 'contact us' page on the Safeway website and provide my contact information. I opened that page but unfortunately I was not able to find where I can leave my contact info. I would recommend "owner" to come to this store at regular basis as a regular customer and check products in the Seafood department. Especially the ones that are in the price reduced section. Very often they are not in saleable condition. And also, please check the department worker for friendliness. Very often his look says: "What do you need? Why do you bother me?"

Expired/spoiled food often found in produce section. I've gotten sick a couple of times from buying premade fruit bowls/salsa here.Dairy has similar problem, milk is often near expiration date.Pharmacist has a couple of argumentative staff who have refused giving prescriptions, so we've moved them to CVS instead.Everything is also very expensive. Often costs twice what I would normally pay at the near by MOMs.Staff is very friendly, and bakery & deli is really nice. Wish they had boars head though.

This Safeway is in an upscale neighborhood and the stock and upkeep show it. The selection of merchandise is above average and the quality of produce, bakery goods, packaged deli goods and even the flower section is very good. The prices reflect the area but you can play the sales so it doesn't impact the bottom line too much.A very nice grocery store.

I don't know if it was the expired celery juice I just bought today without looking that it was best last week!!! But my tummy hurts soooo bad!!! "Now" I read other reviews about expired food experiences...My tummy is totally freaking out! & there is no way to go back in time & read.

At the King Farm Safeway. A cart of fresh meats and sausages. Sitting out at ambient store temperature over 30 minutes and now leaving and still out. Buyers beware about this store. Bad practice and going to get people sick. Working on reporting this to Montgomery County now.

Steer clear of this Safeway location. If you have to order prescriptions, try someone else besides this pharmacy group terrible service. They have lied to me several times I won’t be visiting any Safeway’s in the future. Good luck.

Listen y’all…nobody wants to buy EXPIRED burgers for $5.99, and sure I probably should have checked the date but I didn’t because you typically assume a grocery store doesn’t sell 5 month expired meat. If these were lightly freezer burnt I’d understand, but they are burnt to the core, completely inedible. Looks like turkey burgers they’re so freezer burnt. And I threw away my receipt (and now the burgers) so not returns. Expired dry or canned goods at a discount are one thing, but meat-frozen or fresh, is a completely different story.

Still single file due to the carts out front as of 8/14 despite the reply saying it is taken seriously.It's like they don't even want customers to be able to get into their store. If every one of the carts they now have out front was in use, the store would be wall to wall carts and nobody would be able to move. Instead they line them all up in front of the entrances, making a fire hazard and violating section 504 of ADA since it creates an accessibility nightmare. Not sure who was in charge of ordering the new shipment of carts earlier this year but I think they accidentally put an extra zero or two on the end of the order. If you can manage to get through the cart obstacle course out front, the store itself is fine. A week later, minor improvement. Still enough carts for 3 or 4 grocery stores.

usually not overly busy. helpful staff and my favorite, smooth operating self checkout. clean and convenient. But, there pharmacy is the pits--too slow and error prone on refills and availability. (in fairness, I haven't used their pharmacy in over a year now, so not sure the experience is the same today.)

Discriminated custmer service today because when you are an Asian you are a woman ! Asked to talk to store manager , been told no store manager on duty , and no other supervisor on duty ! He is the king of the store ! There is the worse custmer service ever as a more than 20 year king farm store royal custmer ! Had been live in the king farm neighborhood for more than 20 years , But the Safeway custmer service really go down the hill , especially the custmer service !

I come here mostly because of the convenient location and deals. The store is pretty clean and well-stocked, parking is good, and check-out is usually a breeze. They sometimes have good produce sales but are usually more expensive than other grocery stores. I have been occasionally disappointed by the meat, particularly pork chops or steaks that have black plastic spots stuck to the meat. I still come here often though and generally am satisfied and able to get what I need.

This safeway is my favorite. They almost always have what I'm looking for. The only thing I really can complain about is the Starbucks. They are slow, I feel like they make a lot of mistakes. Plus there is no way to tip on a credit card when they do get it right, like at a Starbucks store!

A Shih Tzu on a 10 foot leash trailing behind the owner is not a service animal. Dog dander floats and gets into food and on containers. This is not sanitary. Assistant manager said customer is always right, than take a stand like Target and put up signs that PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

Convenient location, easy parking. Recommend the app - deals are generally good; items are generally overpriced if not on sale/coupon, as with most chains. Deals on app for the in store Starbucks are nice.

I went out of my way to check out this Safeway cuz I saw a bakery in it. Their ready to pick baked goods were just not as nice as I hoped. Their seafood section had no canned blue crab or snow crab legs. They did have salmon which was good but I needed the crab on top. I also could find my favorite pressed coconut water. (Vita) Now!! I went on a Sunday at 11:21. A lot of grocery stores get wiped out after a weekend. It depends on the day and time you go. Maybe I just chose a wrong day and time. The staff was polite. Everything was neat and clean. Oh, I bought some roses too. So so for $10 (aging a bit thus the discount). I’ll be heading to another Safeway or a Giant food.

This one-star rating is relative to other Safeway. Safeway is easily my favorite brand of grocery stores. The prices and selection at this store are regularly disappoonting. Need fresh garlic? Good luck. A spice, say chili powder under $7...nope! They don't even sell Safeway brand spices.This store is a 2-block walk from my new apartment and I'm going to start shopping elsewhere.

Zero star for the Starbucks in Redland Safeway. They hires irresponsible playful ignorant employee at Starbucks cafe.I was there around noon on 8/4/22. I asked to order cold drink, the young tall curly dark hair boy told me to wait for his customer. After I stood behind her, he asked me if I need to order anything. I told him I’ll wait for the lady. He then told me to come to register to order, I thought he was ready so I went.He then giggled: “No no, you have to wait for my customer” and turned to the lady saying “It’s so fun to play, you know, haha”. I was mad when I realized he PLAYED me but didn’t say anything. After he finished and asked my order, I said: “Are you ready for my order now or are you playing?” He burst out screaming: “ I am not playing, if you don’t order , I get my manager.”I told him calmly: “ Yes you did play when you made me coming to another register for fun. But I just want to order my drink, don’t need to bother manager.”Can you believe he said: “ No, no order for you, I have to get my manager.”UNBELIEVABLE, RIDICULOUS behavior! I left without my drink and swear never go back there to be treated so badly 👎👎

I'm lucky enough to have a few different Safeway stores close to me. I stopped off at this location in Kings Farm because it was closest to another store I had to go to. This location has plenty of parking and multiple entrances so it's easy to get in and out of.Overall, this store is good. It's easy to shop at this location. They've got friendly and helpful staff. I can usually find what I want here. The deli is good. Although their fried chicken at this location isn't so great. The breading on the fried chicken is too thick/heavy and hard. Fried chicken at the Fallsgrove location is 1000% better.Last visit had plenty of produce, dairy and meat/seafood. I know a few other stores are having supply chain issues, but most of the Safeways I've been to have been okay so far.

Great place to stop first thing in the morning to pick up lunch items or other necessities. Not even the Starbucks had a line! Very convenient location.
