You know a business is fantastic if you as a pet owner are unsure whether your puppy loves coming here for the treats, the food, the pets, or the staff (we love Courtney!).... But we are happy with either of those! She's literally so excited and happy to see all her regular friend are pets are home.For the hooman, I love the loyalty rewards and the flexibility of picking up a wide array of selection for dog food and raw alternatives. We just love this store!!

Love it! Great location, close to home. Helpful staff. If you let them know what the problem is they will help you narrow down your choices to get the best outcome. They were even super patient with my newly adopted pit who is scared of people. Courtney took her time and gave her treats to make her comfortable. 10/10 would go back.

Seeing that PETS ARE HOME has one of the healthiest food brands shows how much they care for their customers than other unhealthy manufacturer companies/storesThe staff has openly welcomed us in and took a picture of my dog (Roscoe) and placed it on their famous board lol we have quickly became members and during our more visits we’re always welcomed like it’s our first time⭐️

This is a hidden gem! I am so excited I found a place to get high-quality food, treats, and more for my puppy at a good price. The staff is the absolute best! They are extremely knowledgeable in their products, and listen to what my pet’s needs are to offer the best options. Plus, they always remember me and my pup, and his needs, whenever we come in. The best!

I have been in the pet industry for over 15 years so when a new place pops up it is exciting to go see what they have to offer. I am giving two stars for the quality of product there and variety of brands they carry. However it was not good after those facts. Prices are much higher than other boutique stores for pets, and they said they have lowered their prices…which I am confused on. I asked if occasionally they have any sales there, and she said exact quote “what is that?”I walked around to explore products and 50% of merchandise is not priced. So it is a guessing game and I had to go up and get two out of three things priced. This makes it difficult on the average shopper. The girls who were there stood up front talking about how much they got paid and how they were not compromising a nail appointment to help with the store. They continued to chat about personal stuff from the time I came in to when I checked out. No hello or welcome, no how can I help you, and no assistance when they could clearly see me searching for prices. Will not be back based on these items, I would rather go to Wag N Wash and support excellent customer service.

My dog Sammy and I LOVE this store. They have a wonderful selection of high quality foods, treats, and supplies and a caring and friendly staff. From the first time we visited, we were welcomed and it really feels like we are a part of a community of pet lovers :) I really appreciate the loyalty program, where you can periodically get discounts on purchases, and that they are open a little later so I can stop by at the end of a work day. Highly recommend this store and so glad they are in our neighborhood!

Pets are Home is my go to pet store. They are local small business and it’s obvious how much they care about their customers. Everyone who works in the store (both Rockville and Kensington) are super knowledgeable about the products they sell and it’s nice to be able to talk to people who equally care about pet nutrition. As a raw feeder I greatly appreciate all the options they have available. They carry both large and small brands which is awesome for those who like to rotate in multiple brands. While what they have in stock may be smaller than other stores, I’ve never had a problem obtaining what I need. I’ve been able to do special orders via email or phone and they help me save money by allowing me to order a brand’s bulk packages. They have a rewards program that is easy to understand and it will save you money.

I love this place! A great selection of healthier pet foods. Courtney has been amazing every time we have come in. We have a puppy and she has been super helpful and informative on what foods would be better and help settle his stomach. Highly recommend this store!

I loved it here and I’m definitely coming back. The staff was super helpful and recommended cat food (wet and dry food) and my cats loved both! I also bought some other goodies that they loved. My mom bought cat and dog food! I also bought some cookies my dog loved. This location has a great selection! Best pet shop in this area.

Their products are AMAZINGGG 💕💕 one of the Managers, Courtney, gave me advice on what foods to give my cat and she eats better than before and she get soooo excited for their food. Even their Goats Milk.. you CANNOT find it anywhere else.

So went in the store today and customer service was beyond on point. I Definitely will be returning back to buy a big bag of cat food and whatever else my cat will need. The gentleman and his wife were very kind and helpful. This stores location is close to my house which is super convenient. The dry food that was recommended is great! And my cat actually ate it.. I have had issues switching her food before. Not this time.. I felt welcomed and at home as soon as I walked in. I will not be going anywhere else. I am grateful. Nate is super great. I had the best customer service experience ever. I have a new puppy and had lots of questions. Nate was super kind and extremely knowledgeable with what to give my new pup. When we arrived home with the selections Nate suggested, my puppy was so happy, which makes me a very happy pet Mom. Thanks Nate for being super fantastic!

Recently found this new gem while browsing through the web around my area. I was looking for a new place to shop for my fur baby and I’m so glad I found them!Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. My family and I were out and about and we noticed a familiar sign - Pets are Home. We've been customers of the first store in Kensington since it opened. We walked in and we were greeted by Nate the owner who showed us around. The store is beautifully decorated and well stocked similar to the Kensington store. Nate and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful, something that you never see at the big box stores. I'm not surprised that they are expanding so quickly, their recipe just works.

We absolutely love Pets Are Home! And now so do our dogs! We took them in this morning to check out the new location near our home in Rockville! Our pups got to meet the owner, Nate, check out the new store, and taste new treats! We all love Nate! We always have a fun, allergy-safe shopping spree! Nate is so patient and caring, scouring ingredient labels to identify new treats and food toppers that are free of all of our dog’s various allergens—a nearly impossible feat! Fortunately, Pets Are Home carries many healthy and delicious treats and food toppers that work with her allergies! Our dogs snacked on their new treats right in the store and loved them! We also got a new brand of CBD oil for our dog’s anxiety. And we’re trying out a natural flea and tick repelant, to complement their NexGard when we go glamping at Getaway! Nate didn’t have our food in stock at this Rockville store, and his wife is kindly driving it over from the Kensington store by 1pm today. Now that’s customer service!
