I was visiting my family for thanksgiving and thought of taking something for their pets birthday and this place is good for its collection of pets treats and goodies.I bought a pack of donuts, cupcakes and cookies. Their pets loved it and they were really affordable.

I was very impressed by the depth of the knowledge of the person who helped me find appropriate foods for my new five month kitty. I also purchased some New Zealand - originating wet food for my other kitty. Both of them gobbled them down quick. It's 15 miles and 4 PetCos away from where I live, but I think I will eat the gas cost for the sake of good food for my kitties.

Owning 3 pets (2 dogs and 1 cat) it's a relief to have Loyal Companion on East Gude Dr, Rockville, MD close to home during the COVID-19 pandemic. As you can imagine, I need a lot of dog and cat food to keep my pets healthy and strong. I call with my order, they pull the items I want from the shelves as I read them my order. They accept my credit card over the phone so when I arrive for pickup of my order, they just roll it out of the store and place it in the back of my car. The staff are helpful, friendly and professional. It is such a relief to know I can stay safe (beling over 65) and feed my fur family members.

Ryan was extremely helpful in talking to my fiance and I about dry food options for our 6 month old puppy. He gave us a lot of great recommendations and was very patient in answering all of our questions. Even though they didn't have the exact bag of food we were looking for in stock, he was able to check and let us know they had it in stock at a nearby store. We will definitely be coming back here again!

The staff is always beyond helpful, from their knowledge of the products they carry, to pulling it off the shelf for you, and even loading your car. The people are so friendly. The owner of this location is such a sweet woman, who educates herself and stays up to date on recalls and new foods from around the world. The selection of products is always tip top, they always have what I am looking for in stock. They have a rewards program that gives discounts on the things I buy most often. Store hours are convenient. My fiance and I have been shopping here for our dog food for more than 3 years now and have never been given a reason to look elsewhere. Highly recommend making this your pet food and supply store!

Conveniently located close to my place of work, this is my go to place for all the goodies I need to spoil my 3 month old English Bulldog, Brodie. Literally the best pet store in town. The people working there are amazing and they have all the best stuff for your doggie. They’ll do special orders and they really care about their customers. They’re also knowledgeable about dog wellness and have feedback and suggestions. Not to mention it’s the only place near me that has Answers pet food, which is what I fed my dog after finding out about how terrible the pet food industry can be/is.

Very knowledgeable staff that have your pet's best interest at heart. If you're not sure what you're looking for, ask. The staff are amazing and can make simple recommendations or talk long term nutrition goals for your pet. Priced as you would expect a boutique shop would be, but well worth the expense for quality product and expertise.

My favorite pet store! Small, but an excellent selection. Some of the prices are even better than comparable items at large box stores and online. The membership card is worth getting, and they let you know if a pet food has a frequent buyer program (and will take care of it for you). The staff is friendly and helpful. They also keep a bin next to the door for donating pet food to a local shelter.

I just moved to the area and was happy to see a pet supply store so close to where I live. The two young men working at this location were extremely friendly and helpful. (One of them even carried the bag of litter I bought out to my car. In the rain!) This place had the exact cat litter I was looking for and they had a huge selection of canned cat food. I will definitely be going back!

The staff here has a low turnover and always remember me. I don't feel like a faceless consumer when I shop at Loyal Companion. I love their selection of high quality pet foods and treats. Their loyalty program is another excellent feature. It comes back to you in direct discounts that are not brand specific every month. I never shop anywhere else for my pup.

Fabulous knowledgeable staff. Been shopping there for years getting high quality pet food. They carry many brands, including raw, grain-free, frozen and dehydrated options. Helpful staff will carry your purchases to your car. Valuable rewards program - the most generous I've seen. Saves me $10-$13 every month. Staff remembers frequent shoppers. Her breadth of knowledge was vast. We left with a couple of different options and excited to try them all out!! Their line of Answers raw is amazing as well as other food lines. A++++

I've been visiting this location (previously Whole Pet Central) for 10+ years and was thrilled to see that the original staff (Liora, Sean, Landi & Nathanial) stayed on when it transitioned to Loyal Companion. Courteous staff with great list of inventory. I love that they carry supplies for exotic pets like guinea pigs (We have 3 piggies), bunnies and the like. They don't just carry hay, they carry Vitamin C supplies and other treats for exotic pets.They also have multiple rewards program which has helped us save good amount of money.PLEASE SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES.

Don't be put off by the high quality of the products they offer. There are great rewards programs if you shop there regularly that amount to 10% off plus free stuff. I don't go anyplace else for my dog and two cats' needs. You can't find these products on Amazon either. Shop local.

Prices are standard, they carry a lot of varieties and the lady running things is awesome with allergy/nutrient info on foods. Great unusual variety, my dog actually eats a kangaroo food. After the rewards program we save money compared to ordering online.

Outstanding customer service! I called to see if they had Wondercide flea & tick spray. The woman who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. When I arrived at the store 30 mins later, she had already pulled the spray and had it waiting for me at the register. I hadn't even asked her to do it. She said it was their last bottle, and she wanted to make sure I got it. Amazing!

This is our's and our pups' favorite store. We are able to feed our dogs healthy, good quality foods and treats that we find here - from Answers to Primal to Carna4, N&D, Vital Essentials, K-9 Naturals and Real Meat, Loyal Companion has it. The staff are friendly and knowledgable. They are dedicated and committed. There's always a sale on particular items and you can earn points to help save money, too. Loyal Companion has special event days that allow customers to participate and learn - puppy social hour, product demos and trick training demos. My pups always love when I come home with something in addition to their food - a fun toy! We also purchase supplements, shampoo, bowls, backpacks, and leashes here. We're very lucky to have this store in our community.
