John, the temporary manager, was awesome. While this is not a big store for West Marine they seem to have almost everything I need. Only a few times they don't have something but the experience and advice is always great.

This place is terrible because of Bernie I called there and asked for somthing like a fuze and he didn’t seem to happy I asked if he can stay there for 5 more minutes it was 4:58 he was like yea I can but I won’t then hung up like this is terrible I have spent over $2000 there and the least u could do is stay up a couple minutes more this guy doesn’t care about nothing besides his pay check if it was the other lady she would do it

Absolutely terrible, was charged twice for the same water pump. I understand that things happen however when I called to inform them of this the manager Becky told me that nothing on their end showed I was charged twice so she couldn’t refund me and that she would call me back, which she did not. I had to call her back MUlTIPLE days in a row and her answer was always the same “nothing on our end shows you were charged twice” even though I sent her screen shots of my bank account showing 2 charges for the same item. Finally I decided to call west marine customer service and someone helpful was able to get me a refund.

We shop at many West Marine locations but we really like Rock Hall. Although the entire staff deserves recognition, Charles stands out. He greets you by name with a smile and willingness to serve you. He follows through with everything he says he will do for you and if there is the slightest change or delay, Charles is on the phone with you keeping you informed. He has gone above and beyond so many times, I have lost count.Becky, the store manager, is also quite personable and always willing to help us find exactly what we need, even when that thing is at the warehouse or a different store.We are very lucky to have this West Marine in our small town. But, more importantly, we are blessed to have such dedicated employees that truly seem to care about doing their job well and passing down that positive attitude to the customer's overall experience.

Local stop for marine supplies. Not much here for sailing supplies more so for motor boats. Helpful staff and knowledgeable.
