Update: Bayside gets one of my best of 2023. They deserve this not only because it’s an exceptional place, but because of their philanthropic efforts on behalf of Rock Hall. They really are a pillar of the community.Your one stop shop for food and other necessities in Rock Hall is the award winning Bayside Market. If you’re visiting it’s likely you’ll be able to find what you’re looking for. In addition to the food staples, kitchen an bathroom supplies you’d expect, there’s a surprisingly good beer, wine, and liquor selection. There’s also a cabinet of good cigars. Highlights here are the selection of well-priced fresh meats, seafood, and the deli. Bayside also caters. If you stop in, you shouldn’t miss the fried chicken, which is better than what most (well, all…) restaurants in town provide. I took a 5 star chef here. She found everything she needed to make us a 3 course meal, paired with a great wine, and an excellent after dinner scotch. The staff are great, too. I genuinely enjoy stopping by and talking to them. So, give it a shot. Enjoy yourself, and don’t be an a$$h0le.

I like Bayside in regards to their meats and prices and their deli provides a nice selection. New owners are doing great! For that I would give 10 stars!! But the check out process is ruined by one single cashier. She is on her phone when you walk up, she will not acknowledge you. After scanning items goes right back to looking at her phone. That alone makes me never want to return!

I understand it's the only place in town but wow... the prices are high and it looks dingy and unclean. The deli floor was disgusting and there were flies buzzing around the food. There's just no way the health dept has been in there anytime recently.

Bayside Foods appears to be a locally owned grocery store serving the Rock Hall area very well. They have some Best Yet branded products for value shoppers. The store is neat, clean and well stocked. The deli area may be easily missed off to the side but be sure to catch the house prepared salads and the deli products. The fried chicken special was delicious. They were open late on a Sunday evening which was very helpful as we had just gotten into town and needed some dinner and some provisions. Be sure to grab a shopping cart outside the front door before get inside and you'll be ready to stock up on all of your grocery needs. Highly recommend this well run local business. Please give them your support to keep local businesses thriving.

Bayside is a local favorite and you can get most anything you need here. Their prices are marginally higher than the big chain grocery stores but it’s a matter of convenience if you live in the local area. The deli is a nice feature here. Excellent shrimp salad and other quick prepared foods.There is also a small selection of beer and wine. It’s a convenient place!

Awesome little store, with a surprising amount of variety and actual decent prices. I love the fact that I can go in here and get craft beers, good quality meats, and pretty much everything I need, whether I'm just grabbing some groceries or want to do a cookout. Bayside foods is a genuine hidden gem.

Drove from Delaware just to get their Seafood Soup! Well worth the drive! Beth was extremely helpful, advised me to call first to save myself a trip, just in case they were out lol. Subs were incredible as well (very full). Thank you Bayside! Ladies were delightful 😊

Love this has-everything grocery store that is a short ride from all of the local marinas! They stock everything I need for provisioning. The staff is terrific and helpful. And their homemade chicken salad rocks!!!

I love this place and visit every time the family goes fishing in the area. The grocery store has a comfy feeling to it and everyone is so friendly. The selection is great even though it is smaller than the average chain grocery store. Coming here won't disappoint.

Bayside foods reminds me of how grocery stores use to be in old days ( when I was a kid .( that's alone time ago )Fresh local produce, meats and daily baked goods and a friendly staff who always makes sure to to greet you.The employees at thedeli counter always when out of the way to be help full.!!!!Also make sure to try there Red velvet cake it is yummy !!!

Staff is completely rude unless you're local. Blonde running the cash register didn't respond to a greeting or a thank you. They might as well install an automated check out. For what they charge, they should be able to afford it.

I like this little, local market as I can almost always find what I need. There are not a lot of different brands for the same item, but they are well stocked with the basic needs of the community. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and polite and make the check out pleasurable.

It's a tight run clean ship. Best mests. Lots of house cooket foids.. they give discounts for large meat orders, you cant beat this store. They even sell beer and wine. One stop. If they dont have it, tell Jeff, he will get it. Five starss

Everyone is so friendly.....I can always find what I'm looking for and with reasonable prices. Their fried chicken is the best and the hoagie are packed full of meat and cheese....delicious.

Seems like a quiet little market. You can get your basic food needs met here. We can in town for a few days and they had all we needed from boxed goods to beer. A little pricey from where im from but expected in a little town.
