Im a consignor. Their pricing is all over the place. On apparel - too low, mostly - making it more beneficial to the buyers. And too high on toys, games & household goods/staples. NWT'S items & boutique/higher brand name priced item sometimes sell 25% or less of original retail price, but then you have the 40% cut and its priced so low its not worth it. Boutique/higher priced items ought to have their own rack. And depemding on who's sorting through your bin & how knowedgeable/familiar or not they are with the current and trendy styles, brands, as well as vintage fashion, for all ages, depends on how well yoir items will be priced. I prefer consignment shops where I set the price & hang & self-tag each item & the store simply provides the space and rings up the sale & takes their cut.

Let me tell you about my happy place! This store and ALL the staff are amazing. I love shopping and consigning here. The owner Beth and the entire staff including the young adults that work there are so mature, attentive, knowledgeable and caring. These are not kids, they are grown, capable ladies who help keep this business running smoothly, so don't be too quick to judge.They don't always take all of my items, but some things may be out of season, or just not a top selling item, ans I trust their judgment. After all, this is a consignment shop not a thrift store. If you have never been, run don't walk and you will quickly be greeted by some of the most amazing people, and fins your new happy place.No Worries i can share .. 😉

I was at the consignment store today and brought some very nice items to consign.The clerks going through my items looked to be teenagers which is fine if they know what they are doing. I was told several of my items were considered to be spring items and they should be brought back in the spring. One of those items was a small candy dish that said "Bless This House". I don't understand why that is considered a spring item. They also would not accept a purple floral arrangement in a delft blue vase because that was also considered spring. There were other arrangements in the shop that were more springlike (forsythia, lilacs, daisies) than the one I brought. I don't believe these kids are being trained properly as to what has value and what doesn't. I questioned why my napkin holder with weight to keep the napkins from blowing away wasn't accepted and the young girl said it was damaged. There is a small chip at the bottom that cannot be seen when in use. If someone is expecting something brand new, they should not be going to a consignment shop, nor should the owner expect everything to be in pristine condition. Every time I take things there I end up fuming but I go back thinking the next time will be different and it never is.

I've been going to this consignment shop for a few years now, both to consign & shop. Every time I bring stuff to consign, there are kids always working & the stuff that they don't take is ridulous. I bring nothing but nice stuff there & there's always some reason why they don't take perfectly good items/clothing. Today for example I brought a large $100 (retail) farmhouse picture from kirklands. The kid wasn't going to take it because It had a small blemish on it you couldnt even notice, likely caused by the 30min drive there. I was confused & said do u see some of the stuff you have in here? She finally agreed to take it. Its a consignment shop not a retail store with new items, things may not be perfect but that doesn't mean it's not nice & worth taking. Also when a friend called to make sure there were taking drop offs today the girl said yes but failed to disclose they weren't taking pictures or jeans both of which we had. That kind of stuff should be mentioned, so you end up taking a bunch of perfectly good stuff back home with u. I just don't think kids should be running a store, there should be an adult there to go thru the things people bring to consign. One more thing. I bought a cute gnome planter for $27 & it had a plant in it. Unbeknownst to me the plant was separate and was $12. I wasn't watching my things being rung up, I was talking to a friend I had brought. I get home & realize the plant was a separate charge, I would not have purchased it had I known. I emailed the store & was told I was standing right there, that I could have said something, they don't take returns but maybe I could get a store credit? Customer isn't always right in this case. I know there are a ton of other consignment shops I could go to, but I always keep trying this place.

My husband and I love this consignment shop! He never used to like consignment shops, but he always seems to find something here. We also are consigners and love the convenience of being able to see our items/balance online. We are thrilled they moved to Rising Sun, as we used to drive 20-25 minutes to get to the shop, while now it’s only about 5!I should add that my parents are frequent visitors too. My dad is particular in what he likes, but like my husband, he actually enjoys this shop! 😊

Love that we have such a big consignment shop in town. I have found so many cute outfits and items for my home here. It also feels good to have a place to sell items when I am done with them. Prices are fair and the staff is super friendly. I highly recommend!

Very friendly staff, they offer markdowns as items age, great customer service. They held an item I had seen until I could get back to buy it (Christmas present 🤶🏻) Lots of home decor, heavy on country, knickknacks to furniture. Small housewares section, pet section includes new raised pet feeding bowls. Kids section has books and toys. As expected, lots of women’s clothing, jewelry (new & used), shoes & purses. Clothing is a little cramped and hard to follow the flow of sizing on racks. All merchandise is in great condition.

I really like this place. Staff is very friendly, and consignment is easy. Great clothing selection! Minus 1 star because it was so cold, even in the dressing rooms. Will wait until the warmer weather to buy more clothes.

This place isn't it. Each time I've gone in, I smile and say hello to the workers at the front, but I have yet to be greeted by the people that work there, though they do greet other people. Putting that aside I've gone back multiple times and gotten the same treatment, for example at one point a raffle was being done at the store, both people in front of myself who got checked out were told about the free raffle and encouraged to join, the cashier said NOTHING to me about the raffle (I was interested, who doesn't like free stuff?). My worst issue was trying to sell/consign with them though. In going back as many times as I have, I have bought entirely too much from this place (shopaholic), so I decided to try to consign some of it back to them. They did not take ANYTHING. I had an excellent condition Michael kors snakeskin bag that was black and red that they didn't take (even though I had bought it FROM THEM 3 WEEKS EARLIER AND NEVER USED myself), 3 NEW WITH TAGS pairs of miss me jeans from Buckle, 4 or 5 pairs of vans in 9/10 condition, and tons and tons of other stuff. The teenager behind the counter first claimed they went through it all within 5-10 minutes, then they said they didn't like anything and I was able to take my things and go. On the paper they wrote that the stuff was out of season or worn excessively but y'all, 90% of this stuff hadn't been worn ONCE after I purchased it (which is why I was getting rid of it lol), but also in the stuff were sweaters and coats as well. They claim to take jeans all year round and my new miss me's weren't taken, my PURSE bought from them absolutely wasn't out of season or worn at all, etc. After getting my containers home I realized everything in the totes was exactly as I left it, like after taking pics of everything, it was obvious that nothing in either bin was even looked at. I cut my losses and ended up taking my stuff to Uptown Cheapskate and they paid me 240 FREAKING DOLLARS FOR JUST ONE OF MY TOTES. Not sure what's up with this stores staff not looking at consignment items or acting the way they do, (the older women that work here are usually much nicer and customer friendly), it's the younger females that seem to need a talk. I'm an alternative person and most of the girls here are definitely more preppy/girly so maybe that's their issue? But overall this place is just off, I did enjoy the good deals but after the experience in trying to sell and repeatedly being treated weird, I'll stick to thrift shops and uptown Cheapskate.

Very helpful staff, clean, and organized. The lady that was working understood my disability and offered to go upstairs and bring down maternity items for me to look at to make them accessible for me. I've never had an employee offer this anywhere! The atmosphere here is quant and welcoming. Will return!

This awesome shop is my peaceful place! I can count on genuine caring there, like I'm family. Help whenever I need it, yet not being shadowed. Two floors of such a variety of treasures plus a bargain room. Besides "buying" your favorites, you can take your gently used items there to sell. If you don't want your "unsold' items back, Beth, the owner, donates every month to charity. Her shop is the best thing that's happened to Southern Lancaster County. It's country, it's warm & friendly, it's needed down here.

This place is amazing!For the shopper, there's a wide range of quality items at great prices in their huge 2 story store! The $1 room is my favorite for last chance deals!For the consigner... They make it super easy to check your balance and know which items have sold with their high-tech computer system and website. I love checking on my items from the convenience of my own home!

Love the location and variety of items they have. they have a dollar room packed with last chance deals. I recently got 3 pairs of jeans, 2 shirts and a pair of shorts for 4.00!!! Regular prices are even good because they only accept quality items with no irregularities. They have just as much new items as used and priced the same, they have a room dedicated to primitive crafts which I love as well. They have a crafter who makes the items and brings them there. They are regular priced but so worth it. They always have 1.00 coupons and a club card to earn discounts. And selling there is a breeze as well

My first time going there to pick up some wish items the hours are from 9 to 6 very nice family very lovely artist she has a talent for Al's hand crochet halter tops very nice Cal at the thrift store has a bargain room with everything is in there a dollar I say it's moderate pricing but it's worth it name-brand and then they have color code system for everything being 50% off I stumbled upon this Jewel by accident picking up some wish items that I ordered
