I had first called the shop as I was looking for a particular firearm. They had informed me that they didn’t have what I wanted in stock but to email the owner of the shop John. I figured I’d be waiting a while to get an email response in 2023. I was definitely wrong though. John got back to me in under 24 hours, on a weekend mind you, and had the gun that I wanted in the shop in under 7 days. Beat my price expectations, was just a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. Safe to say being a Maryland resident now this will be my new go to shop!

Accusatory and dishonest. Ladies especially, if you want to go somewhere without bias and have a good experience, don't go here. As a returning customer, with a great experience the first time, I wasn't expecting my 2nd and last experience to be a prime example of bias and poor judgment while buying my first long gun. I had my husband with me and was denied sale after being initially lied to that I was denied due to my background check. When questioned on appeal processes, they turned around and confirmed the check was never even sent in, and instead of a sale, I was educated on what a "strawman" purchase was based on nothing but their poor judgment and understanding. They turned it into a very degrading experience. It's not a crime to have your spouse with you for large purchases. For all of that, you're way better off paying the higher prices elsewhere. They definitely lost my business.

Great shop with a very welcoming and knowledgeable staff. In addition to a great selection of firearms, they have a very well set up training facility. Very reasonable rates for the HQL course.Drove an hour to purchase a hard-to-find item that they had in stock. If they don't have it, chances are they can order it.All of the firearms I saw were also very competitively priced. You don't have to worry about getting ripped off here like you do at many other gun stores.

This was my first firearm purchase and they made it very easy and enjoyable. John was extremely nice and helpful. He explained the process and walked me through it. Even though they were busy at the time ,Mel still took the time to show me the breakdown of the gun. I will 100% go back to purchase future firearms.

Can't say enough about John and how he runs his business. Bought a Beretta shotgun from him. The shipping was fast and his prices are very competitive. I live in pa so I was able to place the order online and pick it up in store and did the transfer there. Great experience!

I ordered a RRA upper from John. It took much longer to receive than initially discussed, but this was due to the manufacturer. Even though it was no fault of Johns, he gave me a good discount on an additional upper. He was very easy to talk with and does everything he can to help. He also kept me very well informed. I would recommend him to anyone and will be my first stop on future purchases. A++++

I have purchased numerous firearms through John Lowe and had a few transferred to him from other sources online.. He is very personable, but also professional to work with.. I have referred friends and coworkers to him and they've all had the same outstanding service as I have.. I live in the Annapolis area and drive past 4-5 gun stores to purchase from J Lowe's guns. After much research, his prices are the best in Maryland.. He doesn't have much on hand, but he can order any Md compliant firearm you want and have it with in a matter of days.. Very easy to deal with.. All transactions I've had went with out a issue..

I ordered a Colt AR15 heavy barrel from JLowes guns and it was a great buying experience. The rifle arrived in perfect condition and it only took about 7 days to deliver to Texas. John the owner responded quickly and was very prompt responding to my questions by email. I highly recommend buying from this company the price at JLowes was the best price online and John kept me updated on my order. I've delt with Jlowe's Guns on several occasions now. Shotguns, hunting rifles, tactical rifles, etc. he has it. Johns a Vet, so I know I'm getting honest answers and the customer service has been down to earth and easy. I've recommended friends and family already, and will continue to do so for many years to come. It's always nice to find a localized dealer, where you can get insight on the product and trust that your buying from someone who wants you to get the gun you want, not just what he has in stock. Awesome guy, awesome service. I can't wait for next time.

John's a great guy who took time out of his schedule to accomodate my own schedule. I had purchased a a shotgun on Gunbroker and John did the transfer for very cheap. Not only that, I was unable to make time in order to get down to his store during his hours of operations, so John asked me to set a time and date and made it work. Fantastic customer service. Next time I look to purchase a firearm, this is probably the first place I'm going to look.

Wow if I only knew...I live very near to John and his business. He acted as my FFL for a transaction from out of state. We set a time I met him and we did our business. Easy as pie.
