Friendly staff! Clean, and organized, one of the best in MD. Only disappointment I can say I've had here was that a few things (toys/collectibles) in the store were broken ( I could/would have bought those still at a discounted price..... like most other big lots offer during those types of circumstances but wasn't given that chance here). Atmosphere is never crowded here and it's easy to get around. Huge selection!!! Recommend.

Clothing area is a nightmare! Unorganized, falling off hangers, laying on the floor, all larger & plus sizes. Not even worth looking!

Always a nice place to go. Quiet and always surprises me with things I didn't think they'd have. My 2 year old always gets a stuffed animal any time we visit.

I was very surprised. It was Friday afternoon and the place was almost empty of shoppers. So I took advantage of that and browsed for things I didn't really need but wanted. Most of the store shelves had an adequate supply of merchandise.

I was so thankful for the assistance of the manager...I had stopped in to look for a Shark steamer. They had been moved from the usual location. I was in a hurry and was quickly checking each aisle when a Manager pooped up beside me. He asked if he could help me find something, directed me to the item, smiled and wished me a good day. I appreciate good customer service and I received it that day!

A good place to shop you can always find different things and bargains. Some things can be a little pricey be careful cuz you may find some things out dated. The store is clean and somewhat organized. Service is good in Friendly. The furniture here is great you do have a lot to choose from just make sure when you buy furniture that it can be put together at home and what tools you may need I bought a so for which was very good but I could not get the legs on when I went back to the store the legs on the sample or not or not either. I asked him what to do and he never gave me any options so I was stuck with it $800 couch with no legs or they couldn't be put in the on the couch I should say.

Yesterday I went to this store. Last time I was there everything was clean and items were priced. This time it seemed almost every item I looked at, had no price sticker or label on shelves. This irritates me to no end. I will go again and hope it looks like the first time I was there.

The kindest and most helpful employees. The store is always stocked and clean. Prices are low and they carry pretty much everything. I definitely recommend everyone to go to Big Lots in rising sun.

Some good deals and some not do your shopping around its a place open to anything you mostly need at a discounted price given you the quailty for your buck depending on what your buying and its quick to get in and out when in a hurry. To bad theres no coupons or app with percentage off of your total stuff were they can give back to the people and community but still make there sales.

Employees are very friendly and helpful here with assisting to help customers.Floors and store is clean and organised. The only set back is a lot of items are not priced at all.As well aisles seem stocked well .Most friendliest one I've been in yet to date.

My friend was helping a homeless man by taking him into the store to purchase some things that he needed. On the second trip the employees including the manager were very rude to them. On there way out they stood out of the way but in between the two sets of doors so the gentleman could be warm and gather the things my friend had purchased for him. They were not in the way nor causing any problems. The manager proceeded to come out and be extremely rude to them and throw them out of the store. This was the rising sun store. I will never shop there again. I feel the managers and employees need to learn some basic human decency as well as some type of reprimand!

Rising Sun location is a big store. I found some really great deals. This was my first time at that location, I will definitely go back despite the long ride to get there

The big lots at rising sun was a disappointment. I purchased some furniture there recently and made a time to pick up the furniture. Very unorganized and all over the place. Manager not very accommodating for the fact that we had to pick up furniture all the way in Elkton MD because of the mistake of the guy that worked there. I felt as though we should have been given a discount or some sort of accommodation for the trouble we had to go through. I will never purchase furniture from the big lots in rising sun again. Elkton MD was much better, much more organized and done within a timely manner

The sales team on furniture the day I bought a tv stand was extremely helpful. The manager let me buy the floor model and the guys helped me load it in my truck. Excellent customer service!!

I work here at this Rising Sun Big Lots and no my rating is not based off of that. My rating is based off of other experiences that I had prior to working there... I have worked here for a lil over a year now as a stocker and truck unloader... when I was going here before I started work here the people were always friendly and very helpful... if they didn't have it in stock they would order it and hold it until I was able to pick it up... they have everything u need from snacks and quick meals, to home decor and nic naks, toys to summer toys and pools, any seasonal decorations from New Years to Christmas and everything in between, pet beds and food to chemicals... at big lots they stick to their motto SURPRISES IN EVERY ISLE EVERYDAY!
