I had an overall great experience with eastern shore k9 solutions. Going in my dog was reactive and all over the place. After 3 weeks she was transformed. She knows all basic commands, responds to her name on the first try every time and is a dog i feel comfortable taking out in public for walks, runs, hikes etc. I am very grateful for everything rachel did for me and my pup!

Rachel does an amazing job with dog training. I sent my boy Bandit to be trained for a month and when he came back it was like night and day difference. He had some serious separation anxiety and now it’s not a big deal when I have to leave the house and taking him out in public place isn’t as stressful. I would definitely send any future pets to be trained by her.

Update Feb 2, 2024: the same day that I wrote the initial review and received the response that Rachel didn't know who I was and that she had never worked with us I received a text from her. She stated she would refund the money later that week and asked if I would take down the review after she did so. I told her I would modify it. The end of the week came and went with no contact from her. She did not respond to texts the next day or calls he following week.I contacted Rachel for help with a Corso that came from a trauma background. She rescheduled just the consult several times while.continually asking for more money. I finally insisted on the consult or a refund and she came out then no showed for next session. I had already paid $250 towards training and she refused to answer then after multiple texts and calls would act like she would return it then nothing. This cycle lasted for over a year. I finally just gave up. No clue how she is with dogs. But as an honest business owner, don't trust her.

We loved working with Rachel for our 1-year old Corgi. He came in with a lot of typical behaviors of the breed - nipping, herding, chewing, and I didn’t realize how significantly he needed training until after the fact. Rachel has worked with Corgis and owns high energy breeds, so that made us super excited to work with her. She was extremely patient with both our dog and us, as we worked through commands such as sit and place. What I appreciated most was her ability to anticipate our dogs behavior before it happened (she’d call it a “temper tantrum,” lol like a toddler). We truly enjoyed our experience with Rachel and would recommend her!

Rachel has been so amazingly helpful! She always picks up and drops off my pups when i need them taken care of while I’m out of town. She offers grooming at an incredible price and is extremely flexible. I absolutely recommend her!

She kept our dog for 2 months, instead of 2 weeks. Kept bugging us for money constantly. Was full of excuses on why she wasn't ready to come back to us. We got her home & she was under weight & stained from urine from hips to tail, where she obviously sat in a crate full of pee constantly.

Rachel is an excellent trainer. Her love for the dogs is amazing. She took a 6 month old lab full of energy and has done things that amaze me. Don’t know how to act when I say come and she comes. Never had a dog do that.

Very disappointed! My brother sent his dog to be trained by Rachel. She’s been very unreliable and always has an excuse to why she can’t meet him. She made sure to get her money! When she did return my brothers dog she said she’d be back in a few days to go over the training commands, welp it’s been over a month and she still hasn’t been there. The dog still doesn’t listen, still jumping etc. total joke!! My mother had even made attempts to contact Rachel, but she won’t return calls to my mom.Pretty sad to scam people out of money who puts their trust in you to do a job.

Eastern Shore K9 Solutions are miracle workers! They helped us get our Belgian Malinois puppy on the straight and narrow with solid training and helpful suggestions. Rachel and Kelly provided a quick evaluation and came up with a comprehensive training plan. We are nearing the end of our initial training, and our dog is happier and calmer. However, I know that we have a ways to go and we know that Rachel and Kelly will be there for us along the way! Rachel is super responsive to all of my questions and concerns. She replies to my texts and calls almost immediately. We are lucky to have found Eastern Shore K9 Solutions.

If I could could give negative stars I absolutely would. Complete disappointment. Her idea of helping my dog reactive dog was just to take my shock collar and turn it up to the highest setting and zap him with any reaction. He was 10x worse after the one session. She leaned over him to take off his collar at the end and he reacted and attempted to bite her (never tried to attack a person before). She held his front legs off the ground for at least 20 seconds choking him with a prong collar. I paid for a package of training session and explained to her I did not want to continue with the sessions and asked for a refund of which she agreed to. But then there was always an excuse as to why I couldn't get my money back. I asked multiple times and never saw a dime. Honestly it's what ever at this point but she should not be allowed to train dogs. There was also an issue of even getting her to come do the training. It was only one session and she had to reschedule a couple times. She told me she has a German Shepherd that is aggresive towards her husband but that shes okay with that. Should have been a red flag. I was stupid and picked someone who was cheaper. Save yourself and your dog and go to a real trainer.

We got a puppy from Rachael. It was supposed to be trained and housebroken. She kept it an extra month. The pup was not housebroken does not walk quietly on a leash. Always messes in her crate ! We paid $2600 for a pup for my husband who has parkinsonsWhile this pup is adorable. It is totally untrained. She promises to come work with it here every Saturday. She never came. Always had some excuse. So I am totally disappointed in this service and her. I highly do NOT a recommend her at all.

EDIT TO ADD- most of the positive reviews on this are actually made by friends of Rachel’s and not actual customers. Please save your money and time and book elsewhere !!!!!!Rachel did not show up numerous times- would ignore texts time and time again. We finally got a refund (after threatening legal action) and now she is demanding the refund back ?????? She scammed us from the beginning begging for a second chance after a horrible first session where she brought her dog that barked and bark and barked from her car the entire session. She is absolutely awful to work with. Save yourself the frustration and get a training collar and train the dog yourself.

Overall I will never again recommend this company to train your dogs today is April 13,2021 . Racheal the "owner/head trainer" Is super unreliable and never stays to her word. Please let me elaborate. 2600.00 was agreed upon to put my 2 gsd through simple obedience training was also told I could make payments as she was doing board and training. Every week she would call me for money. To the points that she was completely paid of a month before she even returned my gsd back to me months after quoted. Once she dropped my dogs off she said she would return in a few days to go over the training commands that were taught to them.well folks its been over a year and after multiple attempts I still don't know these commands and now they are back to square one.I will be attempting to recieve my funds back as well as seeing to it that she be shut down.

My dog Holly went to train with Rachel. We were having a lot of issues with Holly which is why we called Rachel. She was able to work through things with her and she is a totally different dog. Highly recommend.

Spent a lot of money on training. Videos/pictures of our dog being trained were promised and never given. Personal in-home training sessions to review how are dog had been trained were promised and also never happened. Our dogs behavior was the same before as it was after and we have no idea how the dog was trained.

I have been training with ESK9 for almost 4 months now and the results are impeccable. I highly recommended checking them out. However they are very dedicated and serious about their course and training so be serious and dedicated yourself. Put in what u want to get out don’t waste their time. They’re good people and I feel very blessed and thankful to be training under ESK9. Anyone can reach out to me and I will show you first hand videos of my pup and the work Kelly has done. He is amazing with any age pup.And don’t forget to check out Rachel’s gear. It’s strong flawless and custom. I will never buy anything from stores again. U can go out on the field confident that your dog will stand out immediately and that the gear will last. ESK9 is where it’s at. Don’t waste your time anymore and call them.
