I had the opportunity to work at Bayside, but had to leave due to my own unforeseen circumstances.The office manager Haley was absolutely wonderful from the beginning to the end; everyone needs one of her. She was always so kind, patient, understanding and helpful. Literally a God send. I believe I only met 3 of the techs; Cati, Abbie and Brittany. They are also wonderful! So bright, cheery and friendly, they just love the animals so much, I wouldn’t want anyone else to care for my animals except for them. Their presence is just comforting!I did not get a chance to really engage with the doctors because they are so busy, but I never felt too nervous to ask a question if I needed to!I did NOT see much drama but there were moments during the training for receptionist position that were truly and unfortunately just plain uncomfortable (and not because of anyone I listed above) and I could not fathom the thought of losing sleep over a part time position. I was a little surprised that there weren’t any written SOPs for the receptionist duties, but I do honestly believe this is a wonderful place to bring your pets if they need care. I think the receptionist position would be awesome for someone who needs a work family, likes to accommodate other people and doesn’t have an issue speaking up when there is an issue.

***Update***17 year old little guy was removed from there service by Doctor for the "hurtful comments" Shows you the truth hurts and for 1 doctor there who got her feelings hurt they need to put the animal/pet first. The techs and other doctors again know the animals, they know the care needed, and they know their jobs. A true shame, service there is still great just be mindful of which doctor, one tries to do the same treatments the last vet did because they dont review the notes adding to the bill.Review needs to be lower now, and I did try and call said person was not there and I don't think it would have mattered. I was actually going to edit the post until he got the boot. True shame.Original post.Took sister's little guy to Bayside he is elderly and not ready to be put down.... Tip for vet read his file, get to know him...17 years there and can't get name right or see what last doctor had done. I get it tons of animals and they "all look alike" Used to be a great place but main "Vet" out to space and no rocket fuel to get home with bedside care.Their staff extremely helpful, kind, and you know they care about the animals, extremely welcoming and knew dogs name soon as we walked in. I feel genuinely sorry for them when they can identify the pet more so then the person charging and diagnosiing. We used to take all our little ones there but changed to another local vent when main vet couldn't remember the sex of our male dog and called him a she 80% of the visits. I will say their temp vet is amazing.

Dr Spofford and the Bayside team have been absolutely amazing with us and our pets. They provided much needed support when our Lucy girl passed a year ago. And are just as supportive and caring with our new rescue furbaby Leah 💜 we definitely recommend them 🙂

I have been taking my pets to Bayside Animal Hospital since moving to Cambridge about 8 years ago. The vets and staff could not have been more helpful and caring. I also board my pets there when I am away, so I never have to worry about them.

I had a great experience with Bayside Animal Hospital. It was my first visit with them and they made my dog Titan feel safe and welcome. They went out of their way to see that it is possible to get my dog in for his next appointment. because I do not drive. I took my dog Moose in for a torn CCL and he needed surgery. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to afford it at first because I’d heard it can be very expensive. It turned out that the price was extremely reasonable and the doctors and techs did an amazing job. Especially Lori, she was amazing at getting him to stay calm while he had his stitches out. Thank you for taking such good care of Moose!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Bayside. We switched from another vet practice that was bought out and had gone downhill (if you’re local I’m sure you can take a guess) and don’t regret our decision at all. They had evening appointment availability within 2 days of my initial call. Pleasant and friendly front desk staff both over the phone and at check in. Dr. Gosser is wonderful. Our dog has a lengthy medical history and a chronic condition that requires ongoing medication and monitoring. She took her time reviewing her history and speaking with us at great length, despite the late hour. I spoke with Savannah the following day to follow up on locating my dog’s medication and she was communicative, kind and efficient! She had our medication shipped to their practice the very next business day. We feel very confident in our decision to switch to this practice and I will be referring friends and family to Dr. Gosser.

I kenneled my dogs at Bayside for SIX days and when I picked them up they gave me Sugga he was basically lifeless. I rushed him to the emergency hospital where he stayed for three days and sadly he NEVER recovered. He is 15 years old and he has some muscle weakness in his back legs. I carried him to the car and I came back in to get my other pups. When I returned, I inquired how was Sugga’s eating and drinking. They said he ate and drank without an issue. They also returned two of my dog beds soiled (so confused). I would NEVER recommend kenneling your dogs at Bayside. They showed no concern for my dog. They were only concerned about their liability. I never thought I would be writing a bad review about Bayside since I have been going to them since 2006.Dr. Gosser is also VERY rude and unprofessional.

Great experience today with Dr. Spofford, his tech Alaina (I hope I got her name right), and other staff. My dog, Stogie, is a gentle giant who is always so nervous and scared when out of his element. And, they were both awesome with him. Going in, I was nervous about taking him to the vet on account of some experiences I’ve had with my other dogs in the past. But, they were excellent. Made my next appointment already. And will bring my other fur baby there from now on as well.

They are always so courteous and kind. I love boarding my dog here but still I worry why he comes home whimpering and cowering like he was hurt or something. Never really had any issues. If anyone knows anything, please reach out. I am a little concerned. It takes him almost three weeks to remain normalcy. The pricing is manageable but at what expense?

Bayside has been taking care of our cats for years. The staff is amazing and truly cares. The compassion they showed when our oldest cat crossed the rainbow bridge was so appreciated They take care of your pets as if they were theirs. Highly recommended!

We moved to Cambridge a year and a half ago and needed a new vet.Our vet in Easton closed through COVID and was terribly unresponsive even as things reopened.But vets aren't like coffee shops. It's hard to just switch. Our fur babies care is on the line.Bayside has been a joy to work with (we have 3 dogs of different ages). Reasonably priced and knowledgeable with good common sense approaches to our dogs care.

I’m a customer I’ve taken my dog and cats there multiple times!!! I just needed a second job temporary, they said they were hiring 2-4 people for the position! I put in an application about 2 weeks ago I got an email stating “employer has viewed your application” I called Friday October 9th to get an update and make sure they got my app. They were closed I left a message for them to get back to me. I called again Monday afternoon because I never got a call that morning and they told me that the office manager was busy they will give me a call back which I never received, I then called today at 11am they gave me the same run around “the office manager is busy she’ll call you back” I said okay here comes 3:30pm I still didn’t received anything and so I called again. I got what sounded like a young lady I updated her on what was going on just asking if she got my application she told me once again the office manager was busy they have 47 applications to look over in which I understand completely all I was asking was if they received the app. So I said you know what I want to withdraw my application because I feel as though you don’t have anymore positions and you guys are wasting my time because I’m sitting here day after day waiting for a call let alone I could’ve had another job or put in different applications somewhere else. The receptionist there literally only says “we don’t want you working here anyway” *click* and hung up on me. Wouldn’t recommend going there anymore! I hope karma does its job and I hope you’re happy you lost an applicant and customer in the same day thank you for wasting my time 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️🙏🏼

My dog was kenneled at Bayside for six days and when I picked him up I rushed him to the emergency hospital where he was suffering from severe dehydration and kidney failure. He died 3 days later. I would not recommend having your dog kenneled at this facility. They showed no care or compassion for me or my animal and was only worried about liability.Dr. Gosser is VERY RUDE and unprofessional.
