We have two 15-20 lb dogs and they were able to share an XL run. They had a great time! The pup-date video that Jackie sent was great and greatly appreciated! They loved running around the yard! They also enjoyed singing with all of their new friends for 4 days! I would definitely recommend this Resort for your furry friends!

We can't say enough wonderful things about Debendale! Our dog, Bailey, had horrible separation anxiety, so boarding and grooming were definitely not his favorite activities, but the staff made every effort to make sure he felt comfortable and safe during his visits, especially Jackie. She went above and beyond to communicate with us and alleviate his stress. She would call us to provide updates when necessary, and even drove to our vet's office to pick up his prescription while we were out of town. The staff loved him and gave him lots of attention, knowing it meant a lot to him as well as us.Unfortunately, our Bailey crossed over Rainbow Bridge this week, but we are so thankful that we had Debendale to help provide wonderful care when we needed them. We don't know when we will get another fur baby, but when we do, we will return to Debendale and begin our journey with our new friend. Thank you!

Jackie and her team are outstanding. They know their customers well (the people type and the dog type!) and Jackie is amazing about responding to last-minute texts and being flexible. The vibe at the Debendale is comfortable, laid-back, family-like...it doesn't feel clinical or frantic. My dog (pug) loves the whole team and is all tail-wags when he enters the door. We plan to be lifers with the Debendale, they are the best in the business. A great place for your furry friend.

This doggie hotel is the best ever. Jackie and her staff are caring and responsive to my dog's needs. My dog is huge, full of energy and considered a bully breed. While friendly as all get out, she is stubborn and certainly not a push button dog. She looks forward to going to Debendale - always chomping at the bit to see her friends again. She comes home just as happy as she left. The place is clean and managed well. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves their dog!

Our geriatric dog was so well taken care of by Jackie and her staff. It’s so reassuring to be able to talk directly to the person caring for our pet. We were able to get a full personal report and we were even sent pictures of our girl enjoying herself! Our dog was not exhausted when returning home which indicates to me that she was not stressed out during her visit. We already booked another stay for next month! Highly recommend.

Jackie is a wonderful caregiver! We are so happy to watch our big boy whenever we go away. Just recently while we were abroad she contacted us about a fast growing ailment with out 60lb pitty mix. She said she would keep an eye on it. The next day she was more concerned. We would not be back in town until Saturday and our vet would not be able to examine him until Sunday. She called to schedule an appointment for us for Sunday, when the office told her she could bring him in the same afternoon. She contacted us and said she would bring him to the vet that afternoon because it was the best thing for our beloved pet. She did not even charge us for this extra care and service. We cannot praise Jackie enough. We know she loves our pets as if they were her own. We would recommend Debendale to anyone worried about leaving their furry family member when going out of town.

Jackie and her staff are AMAZING! I was a nervous dog mom who was boarding for the very first time and they were understanding, patient and so sweet. The personal attention and care was so comforting. Being able to have our baby bathed and nails trimmed done before pick up was a super convenient plus. This is the best doggy hotel that you will find in Maryland. I did research for three weeks and for sure this is your best choice. The staff members are so friendly, and they will treat your furry children like their own. A++++Jackie and her staff will make sure that the dogs in their create have blankets, water, and they are always comfortable. During an extended stay Jackie went above and beyond by taking one of my dogs to the vet since she got a small scratch in her eye done by her brother while playing. THANK YOU!!

We took our dog and bird here for a weekend and they were great. My dog usually hesitates when we go to the kennel but he walked right in. The facility was clean and smelled good. They took great care of both our pets. Would definitely recommend and will use them in the future.

Myself and my family were planning a trip to an amusement park for the day but the issue was we had several dogs that couldn’t stay at home. We tried finding a place to board them and in our search we found “Waggin around at Debendale’s hotel and spa”. On our arrival to board the dogs the owner was so kind and inviting. One thing I noticed when I walked inside the boarding building was that the building was very clean and modern. It was kept tidy and organized. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Not only did the Debendale Hotel and spa take care of our dogs but they Baithed them both with no charge. When I picked up the two dogs I was greeted by the owner. I recommend this boarding facility to anybody and everybody. Friendly staff, clean and organized building, great care to the pets. This is my first time boarding in the area. I know that this will be the only place I will go to board my dogs. A+ 100% 5 out of 5 stars!!!

I brought my pups Isabel and Archer for a stay at Debendale 2 weeks ago. Everyone at the facility were very helpful and made me feel calmer about leaving my babies (it was my first time). They had a great stay and the owner updated me whenever I called and even sent me pictures! Thanks Debendale Kennel we will definitely be back .

This was the first time I had to place my dog in a kennel. I visited other kennels in the area and felt Debendale was the perfect place for Tiny. I loved the idea that someone was always on the premises and the kennels were very clean. During my vacation I was given updates and pictures of how Tiny was doing during her stay. I would recommend Debendale to friends and family.

They took great care of our dog. The owner is easy to talk with about what your dog needs. Our dog was rested and relaxed when we picked her up from Debendale, which shows the quality of the care she received there. Will definitely use Debendale again.

We have used this boarding facility many times for our 3 dogs over the last few years. They are always just as happy when they leave as when they got there and have never seemed traumatized by being left. I love the first day they get back because they are so tired from all the excitement. I would highly recommend this place. They were so kind to us last March when we didn’t have power and had to leave the dogs and stay in a hotel.

We were so concerned for our baby Max to be in a kennel but at this kennel it seems like its going to be hard to bring him back home. He is so happy and active. They love these animals and take very good care of them as a home away from home. I would recommend this kennel to everyone who needs for the pet to have tender loving care like they would give them. When ever you use a new place you wonder if u made the right decision. This choice was the best I made for my pet.My pet was housed here from August 24 to sept1. This was his first visit with Jackie. I’m so happy with the excellent care my pet received. Generally when I pic him up from a kennel, (I am very careful about choosing a place), it takes a few days before he’s back to my pet. It takes him time to start eating and drinking, he’s not as playful. He just seems sluggish. Over the years I came to accept this. This time he was the same lovable and playful pet. Jackie made sure he received his meds as well. I will use Jackie again.P.s.I forgot to mention what I liked most? The family atmosphere projected by the surroundings. This may not be a family business but it appears that way. The staff is excellent. My pet formed a bond with them. I like that it doesn’t house so many pets that they really don’t have time to get to know the animals. As u can tell I just loved this place.Thanks Jackie

We love taking our dogs to debendale, and they love going there. The owner, Jackie loves every dog that comes thru the doors. The office and the kennels are always clean and the staff are always friendly.

Jackie, her Kennel Manager, and her sister and even a little helper or two are ALWAYS on site to make sure every animal is taken very special care of. I happen to have 2 very high maintenance special needs dogs, and I was extremely nervous. From the minute I walked in I knew they were in great hands. Jackie mixes professionalism with her pure love of dogs so graciously that you can't help to feel comfortable.The kennel itself, while not the most FANCY that you may see, is immaculately clean. The dogs have plenty of space, and yet they are never "lonely" The staff makes sure the pets get comfy blankets, fresh water, treats and plenty of kisses, cuddles and pats on the head. My only complaint? When I dropped the dogs off... While walking thru the kennel Jackie MUST say hi to all her charges! No one ever gets left out!If you are looking for a fancy kennel where your dog sits in a sterile room all day with maybe a TV, then this is NOT the place for you. If you want your dog to go to a REAL kennel, with plenty of other dogs to socialize with, a private STAFF OF THIER OWN, and all the fun comforts of doggie camp? THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!I will add... while the kennel is CURRENTLY not the fanciest one you will see, Jackie is a brand new owner and is constantly making upgrades!! Its quite possible she is going to turn it into the Taj Mahal of dog kennels!! The waiting room has chandelier lighting...

I always get nervous about leaving my pets with someone other than family, but this place made me feel at ease! It's very clean and well maintained. I forgot to pack bedding but to my surprise, the staff had bedding and blankets. Will most certainly be a repeat customer!

My dog has been to this kennel three times this summer. So needless to say she's had a great experience and to top it off I've got her groomed twice and she comes back smelling good for weeks awesome place.... You should send your baby doggies there too
