Since it’s close to my house I’ve brought my car here a few times before, but I’m over it; I won’t be back. The staff is rude and unprofessional. Even if you make an appointment they act like they know nothing about it. They barely speak when you arrive, and act like it’s a huge inconvenience to check you in and work on your car. While checking me in, two of them were eating sandwiches and going back and forth in discussion about my car as if I’m not standing there. Honestly, the staff’s energy is very off putting and I’m uncomfortable. I will allow them to diagnose my car’s problem, but I’ll be taking it elsewhere to get the work done.

I had my car towed here from Owings Mills, as my insurance only covered 15 miles. They diagnosed the vehicle, but I wanted to take it to a shop I truly trusted and for good reason. I recently moved, so the drive to Randallstown went from 40 minutes to an hour. I had called them the day I was going to pick up my vehicle, asking if they would just leave the key in my vehicle since I knew I was not going to make it before they closed due to how far I live. The person on the phone stated that they would leave the key there for me. However, after driving an hour, we got there and my key was not in there, despite having already expressed how far I lived from their shop. If they can't remember something as simple as that, I do not trust them to do anything else on my vehicle. They are also the least personable people I have encountered. When answering the phone, the man sounded like he hated being there and that doesn't make me trust their shop anymore than I already do. Which is none.

Happy with the service I received. I made my appointment online and when I got there, they looked to be very busy. I understood when you make an appointment online the web system does not take full account of their workload. So I thought it was going to take a while but, my oil change was done in a timely manner. When my vehicle inspection was done and they found something else that needed to be done. That was completed in good time as well. Thanks to Darnell S and William E for the excellent service I received. Y'all are appreciated.

When I booked the appointment I was told it would take 1-1.5 hours to have my service complete. Since the time was reasonable, I didn't drop my truck off. Unfortunately, it took 3 hours to have my tires put on and a wheel alignment complete. I would suggest dropping your vehicle.

These guys are great! They've taken care of my car needs (more than once now) even when I've come in needing same day service when no one else around would. I really appreciate their understanding and their service, which is why I now go there every time, exclusively. Highly recommend this pep boys to anyone needing trustworthy, quality work/services to their automobile. I also haven't personally experienced any extra charges, fees nor fluff that I've gotten elsewhere. Been there 4 times and have nothing but praise.

10/3: Took my Toyota 4Runner into PepBoys of Randallstown for 4 wheel alignment and four new tires. Booked the appointment online and asked to if I could upgrade my alignment option. I was informed I could not. Darnell was the tech that serviced my vehicle and Marvin was the person that checked me in. I left the location and noticed a slight tire vibration and shaking steering wheel issue. I assumed it was minor balance issue.10/10: Called Marvin at the Randallstown location to inform him the issue was still present and to schedule a time to bring it in. He stated the earliest was 12PM as though they were busy but the online scheduling tool was available the entire day. I reserved a slot to add to the books.10/11: I brought the vehicle back in to Marvin and he assigned the same tech (Darnell) to resolve the issue. Marvin informed me the issue was resolved and gave me my keys. I noticed that the ride was harder and the vibration and shaking was very noticeable at lower speeds. Once I reached 55 mphs I nearly lost control of my vehicle on 695 due to violent shaking and vibration of the steering wheels and tires. I pulled over and measured my tire pressure to notice that my PSI on each tire was above 42 PSI and the cold PSI for a 2013 4Runner is 32 PSI. I was able to bleed out the air of each tire to about 35 PSI and I took it to the location in Catonsville. Upon their discovery they noticed that my tires were slightly out of balance and that my front wheel alignment was incomplete on the front right hand side. They worked the issue.This is unacceptable customer service and business practices by PepBoys of Randallstown, and I could have been injured or lost my life if I wasn't able to regain control of my vehicle. I am requesting a full refund and to be reimbursed for the hours spent trying to get an issue resolved that should have been resolved at the beginning. The Catonsville location exhibited professionalism and ensured my vehicle was safe to drive.

They always get everything right the first time whenever I come to this branch. If they don’t have it by the appointment time they’ll explain the delay and give options. Everyone there is personable, professional, and kind. I also like that they have a waiting area so you can wait with your vehicle. This is especially beneficial when you don’t live in the area.

We take both of our cars here for oil changes. Service is always quick easy and professional. We have never had an issue and the guys have even been helpful with items like tires and brakes. They are very knowledgeable. Will is always very helpful.

The tire was order and within two days I had a brand new tire for my vehicle. The tire was placed on for me and my car repair completed . Thanks Pep Boys again for the quick service.

I went to have my 5000 mile Service done on my car and the man asked me what that entailed. Aren’t you guys the mechanics to know that information?. I also wanted a squeaking, scraping noise checked on my car. Obviously it had to be a brake issue and I would have gotten it fixed that day. They return my car saying they didn’t hear anything and send me in my way, clearly they didn’t even check and lied saying everything looked fine. I took my car to another mechanic and they said my brakes were metal to metal. I will never return to this location you have immature young men standing around, don’t know what they’re doing with their manager yelling at them in front of customers. Unprofessional!

The service was good. My customer service agent searched for coupons so I could receive additional savings. They also price matched other area merchants.The tech that installed my tires & serviced my vehicle took the time to show me other items that needed attention. This location was understaffed at the time but was in the process of hiring. Additionally I returned to have a tire plugged on a later date and it normally is about $20. Surprisingly no charge!

Scammers!!! I went in for an alignment and a courtesy brake inspection. A few minutes later the guy tells me I need front and rear brake pads and rotors, and that my serpentine belt is dry rotted. And quoted me $1500 to fix it that day, I declined. I took my car to 2 different mechanics the same day and they both agreed my front pads and rotors were fine and even showed me that there were no cracks or dry rot in my belt. So basically I only needed rear pads and rotors smh. Beware of this place because they saw a single woman and figured they could tell you anything is wrong with your car and charge you whatever. I been going here for close to a decade but they will never see a dime of my money again.

Quality of service was poor. All employees were nice but the experience of dealing with the company was worst new tire install I have ever been through in 20 years of driving. I would not recommend anyone going to this company for tires. Period.

I would not recommend this location. All they want to do is make a sale. I went in for a simple tire plug and William told me my brand new 2021 car tires are dry rotted and that he won't be able to service my vehicle. They tell lies just to make money. Save your time and stay away from this location.

The customer service person I spoke with on the phone was accommodating and pleasant. The rating is based on my tire service itself. They did not inflate my tires to the recommended psi nor did they check it inflate any of the other tires. If they had don't that it would have been a thorough job.

I went to get my tire plugged and they took over an hour to plug it. A 15-30min job took over an hour. When I said something to them they acted as if I was the problem and subsequently told me it takes that long because they have to take the tire off to plug it. 5 men standing around talking and you mean to tell me it takes a hour. Nope will not be returning and I don’t recommend anyone go unless you enjoy being gaslit, and having your time wasted.
