My dog is diabetic and from the day he was diagnosed Dr. Meyers has checked in monthly with me to make sure he was ok and that his insulin is working. She has gone above and beyond to make sure that he has the correct dosage of insulin and all the information we need about pets and diabetes. She is very caring and a great vet! I highly recommend her!

We just had our first visit at Queenstown Veterinary. It was amazing! Everyone from the front desk to the vet tech to the Doctor were super compassionate, gentle and kind. They were able to see us very quickly. We recently moved to the shore and have been terrified to take our dogs to a new vet because we haven’t had great experiences trying new places in the past! But, Queenstown Vet was amazing with our nervous pup! We are very pleased with our experience and we will be visiting them again.

Dr Bailey and the entire staff at Queenstown Veterinary Hospital are truly exceptional, caring, and compassionate people. My first visit was unfortunately for an end-of-life situation. Without an appointment, they saw me within 15 minutes of my “please-help-me” phone call. The young lady that took my call couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. They made an unpleasant situation bearable by treating me and my cat as if they’ve known us for years. You can’t fake the compassion they had during my entire visit. Everyone I met there expressed their sorrow and condolences.After a few days I thought about the little things they did at an emotional time to ease the pain I felt at the loss of a beloved pet. Quickly moving me and my cat to a private room, taking payment at an appropriate time, ensuring my last memories were not of a pet in distress, having a separate exit so I didn’t have to go back through the lobby, and following up with a sympathy card. There is literally nothing they can do to improve their end-of-life process. Simply, Thank You!!

This facility is phenomenal. The way that they cater to your animal to make sure they have the best care possible is amazing. From the front desk to the top staff, they’re all very respectful of yor and your dogs needs. I would never go to another vet, because there is no other vet office that has as high of standards for their staff and facility.

I love this office. I love my dogs vet. But recently they made a change to their prescription policy. They will no longer approve prescriptions from outside pharmacies (chewy) via phone, fax or email. You must pick up a paper prescription. My dogs flea and tick is $118 for a 6 months supply on chewy. Through the vets pharmacy it’s $190 which absolutely absurd. There is already an issue with owners not being able to afford preventatives but now they’re making it harder? This office has 3 receptions. It’s really disappointing bc I love this office. But they’re making it super inconvenient & basically forcing you to use their pharmacy. Or drive to pick up a prescription. Obviously this isn’t feasible for owners who have there dogs on daily prescriptions

Update July 2022:Erin and Dr. Myers were the team that helped my cat and I again. They were very gentle and patient with a senior, arthritic girl. The CSRs were friendly and efficient during check in and check out. We'll keep coming back to QVH for our veterinary needs. Five Stars!July 2021:Dr. Myers was very thorough examining my cat and making recommendations for feeding to manage my senior girl's weight.The technicians and assistants were calm and gentle with her. Having gabapentin before our visit really helped my girl's stress be as low as possible during their restraint, so less was needed to keep her still for the exam.Checking out and checking in were very efficient and friendly encounters. All did a good job during our appointment. We were seen quickly after checking in early. We left through a separate door, minimizing traffic at the front entrance.

BEST. VET. EVER. I have a dog that absolutely hates car rides and dislikes the vet and they made him feel very safe. We went back yesterday to them and that was the happiest he has EVER been on a car ride. Everyone who has treated my dog, my sister's and my mother's dog has been the most helpful with them. Not only that, but they have been consisted in what they recommend to our dogs which is always amazing! Would recommend this vet! BTW the receptionist and the vet techs are absolutely amazing with people and the dogs as well!

Very professional & everyone was so friendly! Dr. Harkins and her technician, I feel so bad for not remembering the techs name as she is wonderful, were so loving and treated my doggo like their own. They are extremely knowledgeable and addressed all of my questions. The CSR staff from the time we checked in to the time we checked out were so friendly, quick, and efficient. I would 10/10 recommend Queenstown Vet to a friend in need of a Veterinary Practice for their fur baby.

We have quite a few animals: currently 4 dogs and 3 cats, and therefore we’re at the vet frequently. For some, this might be a chore, but honesty, QVH makes going to the vet such a lovely experience, that my kids and I look forward to it. And my animals, who’ve also had such wonderful experiences there, are so happy. Even my most vet-resistant cat has done amazingly well there. I can’t say enough good things about this place: from the friendly and helpful front desk staff, to the WONDERFUL vet techs, and the incredibly kind, supportive, knowledgeable and thorough vets, I can’t imagine having ever found a better place for our crew. If you’re looking for a vet in the area, you won’t find better than Dr. Bailey and co.

We got my kitten at a shelter a few weeks ago, They went somewhere else to get her a hernia surgery on the 1st and it got infected. We got back from the store and noticed a lot of liquid stuff around the area. We called the veterinary hospital and they got us a appointment right away. They where amazing and and super patient with her. Edit: we have to go to check my kittens stomach again and our other kitten has been getting eyes so goopy he can’t see and we called and the scheduled our appointment for earlier so we can bring them both in they are amazing and distract the kittens with treats whenever they have to do anything to them there very gentle with the kittens. There amazing and there gonna be the permeant vet.

I took my cat there for the first time today and I was thrilled with the care and attention and time they took with her to diagnose her. The vet was very thorough in her diagnosis to me. She wasn't rushed and she didn't push extra services at me, she took her time to explain what she thought was going on and what she wanted to do for her. I was also very happy with the rest of the staff, the tech Jennifer was great and so were the office staff. I felt that my cat was very well taken care of and we will be bringing her back! Thanks so much for going the extra mile today!

I can't say enough good things about this vet. Although they are not my full time vet, they are always able to fit my dog in when emergencies have arisen when our primary vet is out of town. (because I swear it's the only time she needs to see the vet...) The only reason we have not switched is because our dog has had several medical issues and our primary vet has seen her through them all. The staff is so genuine and courteous, the doctors I have seen are amazing with our dog and answer any and all questions I have. The facility is beautiful, clean and well run. If you need a good vet, I highly recommend.

This was our first visit and we really felt at home. From the welcome sign to the new patient toy, Zoey was treated so well. Dr. Bailey was also super sweet and very thorough! Not much could be done to make our visit better :) Hoping our two dogs don't have any more issues but we will definitely come here for any future appointments.

We just made the switch here and so glad we did. Very kind and considerate staff. Wonderful vet who clearly cares about her clients and the animals. Every detail, from the design of the waiting room to the ease of scheduling appointments and the use of technology was thoughtfully designed to make pets more comfortable and for convenience to the owners. They even make house calls! I was worried about a health issue with my dog and waiting on blood work....the vet called me from her home on a holiday weekend so I wouldn’t worry! Go see Dr. Tesi you will be so happy you did!!!! Love this place!

Queenstown was wonderful with our elderly doggie. The vet and assistant got down on the ground with her and were gentle and caring. They were understanding and sympathetic to our doggies pain tolerance and figured out a wonderful treatment plan. Highly recommend them!

Dr. Bailey and staff are so caring and professional. I completely trust them with my aging dog’s medical care. Dr. Bailey has spent a lot of time communicating with me about my dog’s significant needs. We found Dr. Bailey because we have a vacation home nearby (our primary home is 1 1/2 hours away), but we now use Queenstown exclusively.

So far it has been great and with the TeleTails where I can see and talk to my Vet while she performs her exam is awesome. Makes you feel as if you are in the exam room with your dog. So for now I don't think Queenstown Veterinary Hospital can do anything better at this point. I will be glad though when we can be there physically for our pets.

We are new to the eastern shore and needed a new vet office for our 2 dogs. The staff was very kind and easy to make an appointment. Once I explained the few things i needed they went over the costs and emailed me the break down. This way I wasnt shocked by charges. But I was shocked! They are very affordable compared to our old office in Arnold and Annapolis. The dr was also so kind and easy to talk to. I never felt rushed. I never felt that they were trying to get more services out of me that weren't necessary. I highly recommend Queenstown Veterinary

We moved to Kent Island from Annapolis and tried a couple of different vets before we found Queenstown Veterinary Hospital. I absolutely love them! The front desk staff was super friendly and upbeat even though I was 10 minutes late. I saw Dr. Bailey and she was great at answering all my questions about our new puppy. She didn't make me feel rushed and seemed to really care that I was given correct information on our pup. Also, the visit was very reasonable cost wise. I paid much more at the other vet visits and didn't receive the same great treatment. I'm sticking with Queenstown for all of my dog and cat needs.😊

I was recommended by a friend to come to this vet. I found them very friendly. And my dog doesn’t fear going in even after the second time. Our first visit they gave My dog a squeaky toy which she loves! I paid about $100 less than my vet in Bowie to get my dog’s teeth cleaned with an extraction according to the quote. AND they gave her a nail clipping at no charge while she was still asleep! Definitely recommend.
