A very reasonably priced country cafe with all the right food and an ice cream shop built in. My wife had the cream of crab and said it was one of best she's ever had, while I had a delicious Cowboy burger. Lexi was a great hostess and continually helped out our waitress to ensure our satisfaction by getting us drink refills and answering questions. Definitely recommend!

Eats and Sweets did the catering for our wedding. We live local and have come the last two Fridays for dinner. Food is amazing, fresh and homemade, we are never disappointed! Tonight a family of 5 was seated and the young server explained there would be a wait and apologized multiple times. As time passed the women was getting more irritated and they ended up walking out. There was one server waiting on 8-9 tables himself. He was doing his best and was over whelmed, be more understanding people. If people expect lighting service go to McDonald’s or another fast food chain. Needless to say we will be back no matter how long the wait is because the food is worth it. I’d rather support a local restaurant and family than a chain restaurant.

I’m only giving two stars because I could tell the younger employees were stressed out about how busy it Had gotten shortly after we arrived, and it looks like they were trying their very best but me and my family (total of three) had waited 45 minutes without even getting an order in, I was upset because I had my two year old with us and we ended up leaving around 8:30 without eating. I definitely wasn’t mad at all of the staff but, Please accommodate for more staffing on busy days/ nights during the week.

We had never been in the area before and were just looking for a bite but we stumbled onto a true gem here. This diner has the best house made meats I've ever had in a sandwich. There was a gluten-free roll on the menu which made it especially convenient to get a sandwich. The fries were HOT and perfectly cooked. Although it was supposed to be counter service only from 2-4 pm they did bring our food out to the table for us and get us refills of our soda. The gal at the counter was very very nice and an excellent server!Dietary restrictions: There is a gluten-free roll

Great little place with excellent food and good service. We heard about Eats & Sweets from friend and was out that way so we decided to try it out. If we hadn't heard good things about it I'm not sure we would have ventured in so even if you don't read the rest of the review here's us telling you you'd be remiss to not give it a shot. It's not close to anything major and doesn't look like much but when you walk in the door it has a nice old fashioned diner or ice cream parlor vibe. The menu is smallish, a good variety and options (including a make your own sandwich with plenty of options) but to me that is a good thing. I like when places try to focus on making a light amount of good food rather than doing ok food but choices galor. We decided to have a bowl of Cream of Crab and split a mushroom swiss burger. The soup came out and unfortunately it was only slightly warm, we like our soup to be screaming hot normally and it was a crappy rainy day out so temp was even more important that night. We wanted to send it back to get warmed up but it was so good we just kept eating it, by the time the waitress came around it was mostly gone and not worth heating at that point. The soup was very good, slightly thinner then expected but great flavor and enough crab. If this had come out hotter it would have been stellar. So slight ding for the temp and the time it took our server to get back around to us.The burger came out and to our surprise was on a homemade roll. We ordered it medium (menu says they server their burgers medium and that's fine by us) and while it was cooked more than medium it was juicy and delicious. Now I usually order my burgers medium, with the expectation that they come out more cooked, but as long as they are not dried out I don't mind and this burger was anything but dried out. Definitely recommend it. The fries were hand cut and looked delicious and while they were quite hot and good they were not very crisp. I'm not sure that was on them though as I had fries at another restaurant a few days later that had the same issue, nice and golden brown looked crispy but just weren't. I think this is more an issue with the potatoes in general than the place cooking them. I've noticed similar problems at a certain burger chain known for their fries and (at this time) high cost. With the promise of hand dipped ice cream we planned on having some dessert, the wife had a milkshake and I had a scoop in a bowl. The milkshake was good (for a vanilla, her favorite not mine) and extremely thick. The scoop was good. We were slightly disappointed to see that it was Hershey's ice cream and not a local dairy farms but it was still good. The baked goods are supposed to be house made so I'd like to try something else next time. All in all we quite enjoyed the food and can easily recommend this place if you're in the area. We plan on coming back when we're close bye. We live a good 40 min away but are often close enough to warrant a detour here. Definitely check it out if you're in the area, the homemade rolls and baked goods are a draw and the soup was very good and could have been great.

Nice place. Really fantastic cream of crab soup and my hot open turkey platter was also stellar. Had a bite of my husband’s chicken salad and it was super tasty and savory as opposed to sweet which is just how I like it. Everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was pretty cute, too.

Paid $30 for my meal today. Fries were rock hard covered in grease! 3rd time this has happened to me here. Not sure exactly why this keeps happening but it seems they might have been refried or something. I called to let them know and the girl who answered the phone questioned me as if I was lying about it and pretended like that’s not possible. Well guess what it is possible just like this bad review! Never again!

Food was great! Me and my boyfriend's family went there and we don't normally eat out. Amazing food with huge portions and totally affordable prices! They make everything fresh and it shows. The ice cream was delicious and they had a humorous menu. Will definitely go again next time I am in Maryland.

One of my favorite things to do is eat at a mom and pop diner type restaurant. The food was amazing and prices are great and I highly recommend their homemade ice cream sandwiches.A friend of mine and I decided to meet up for lunch there. She had a cheeseburger and I had the French dip and it was so amazing. Please make sure you support your local businesses because you usually get the best things there

Great service, went during lunch. There were a few tables there. I got my drink refilled quickly, food was prompt and the waitress was very sociable. We got mozzarella bites to start, their weren't many and don't think they were worth the price. I got the Turkey sandwich which was great, my friend got a cheesesteak which he liked. We got sundaes and they'll let you try the ice cream first, so many flavors to choose. Banana pudding was what we both got. I'd definitely come back here again.
