Layfield's has been the best vet ever! Sadly, I had to put my 15 Year old German Shepherd down and while all the other vets were full, Layfield understood that we weren't asking for them to see a new patient, but instead we just needed help one time as our pup no longer had quality of life. I have since taken my other pets there and the service has been amazing! Would definitely recommend them.

My Pomeranian went for her first visit. Our vet is retiring and layfield was recommended to me. This place is a dream, and I honestly mean that .I am very protective of my furkid .From the time we entered the clinic to meeting the Doctor and his staff was all I can say ...AMAZING. Everyone was not just friendly, They truly put my mind at ease that they will care for her with love. I was fully prepared to take her across the bay if necessary to a vet, because locally many are not taking new patients. But now I know if anything should arise or just regular checkups. LAYFIELD VETERINARY is our new home. Miss Joey was happy and that makes me happy.

I’ve taken my rescue kitten for there first visit. Not only was the staff and DR super friendly but they made the whole experience very pleasant. You can tell they love what they do and was very gentle in how they handled the whole ordeal. Ophelia was relaxed the whole time and happy. The staff was very upfront so no surprise charges and they explained everything in detail. I’ve been recommending my friends and family to this place.

This was our first visit with our 2 dogs. The assistants and doctor went over our records carefully and Dr. Insley was wonderful with our dogs. He addressed every concern we had and took time and gave thorough exams. The facility is beautiful and clean.

I've been using them for many years. I currently see Dr. Lauren Abell. She is a great vet. Very sympathetic, good at explaining, responsive, and has friendly staff. We go to the Pocomoke location. We love them and the services they have provided our pups for many years.

We have had a wonderful experience with all the vets at Layfield. We have several dogs with ailments ranging from Cancer, diabetes to skin conditions and all of our dogs have been taken care of 100%. I highly recommend Layfield Vet Services.

Dr. Insley and staff are great. Have taken more than one kitty with serious issues to them. My Shadow had to be hospitalized for over a week, but I could rest at night knowing he was in good hands. Highly recommend this vet hospital and will always feel grateful to them.

The front desk/phone staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Staff is not compassionate at all, as both times my family has had animals put down there, the experience was not good. They are also more expensive than other vets in the area for similar quality care. Would not recommend taking your pet here, unless you have to.When I had my kitten put down last month, the vet who maybe spent 5 minutes total in the room said "don't worry, he'll be chasing mice soon", then injected him and walked directly out of room while my cat was still gasping for his last breaths.

I can not say enough about Doctor Daryl Layfield Instead and staff. We have had goats horses dogs and cats go to these wonderful group of people. If you want to listen too reviews then let this be your last. Point blank they all are the most compassionate people I have ever met with my animals I can't stand reviews that say they are expensive or staff is not on point one day ! Look they are human bad things happen at the vets office patient died it affects them and prices well dont get a pet they are expensive no matter were you go

My dog had a tumor which we had surgery done to remove. It grew back and the search began for a vet who was willing to take on new clients and this operation. Several places turned us down because they were either unwilling or not able to tackle the surgery. After calling several places, looking through Google, we made contact with Layfield Veterinary Services and we could tell right from the beginning that they cared. The tried in every manner to accommodate us but in the end, cancer took our pet. We never made it to surgery - he died a day before he was scheduled to be seen. Hearing of his passing, the office sent us condolences, something we have yet to receive from our regular vet. Kudos to this office! They are the utmost professionals and really do care about their customers and their pets.

There are not enough positive adjectives to describe how great our visit with Dr. Holly and staff was yesterday. They are caring and hopeful. She had the utmost knowledge and delivered help to us in such a personable way. Not sure the abandoned kitty Allie will make it but Dr. Holly gave her every chance of recovery with a very affordable treatment.Thank you all.

Dr Insley and his staff are the best, its truly shows that they love animals and what they do. He did surgery on my Rosie when others would not. He saved her life and made ours much happier. By far the best veterinarian on the Eastern Shore, you go once you will understand why!

Dr Darryl Insley is the best! He took time with our dog, Daisy and she loves him like her own peeps. Dr Darryl was very thorough and explained everything he was doing and also let us know our Daisy girl was very healthy.

The veterinarian was mainly interested in selling more tests, medications. and dog food. He came back into the room 4 times with different suggestions. I was not quite ready for the onslaught and ended up with $ 265 bill for services and overpriced meds I did not really want. I used to love this vet.

Wonderful experience! No other vet's office could fit me in when my lab experienced a emergency. We are so grateful that everyone in the office and staff was extremely helpful in getting my sweet pup back on her feet again and so quickly !

There are some very knowledgeable and caring vets at this practice. It is a bit on the pricey side, but I feel it is worth it due to the generally great job they do. I was a little put off by a recent development where I was charged extra when I needed to bring my dog in the same day due to a possible back issue. I was charged extra for a "work in" appointment, even though it was for late in the afternoon and I had called in the morning. From past experience, I know that immediate treatment for back issues can make the difference as to whether the dog ever walks again. I personally do not think any client should be charged extra for bringing in a pet during regular office hours that needs to be seen ASAP. I would have given a rating of 5 stars if they didn't charge extra for urgent visits during regular office hours.

While we were staying on the Eastern Shore in February, my dog became suddenly and severely ill with AIHA. I ended up taking her for care in Annapolis, 2.5 hours from where I was staying, but when she came home we needed to go for weekly blood tests to track her progress. Of all the veterinary facilities in the area, only Dr. Insley was willing to squeeze us into his full schedule and I am so glad he did. His staff are a delight to deal with and his clinic in Princess Anne is a wonderful place to see with horses, chickens, birds all around, I am so grateful that the Layfield team has been willing to help us

I have a 5 month MaltiPoo that was only 3 months at her first visit. I was so nervous and had a lot of questions because she's my first puppy. This office was kind and understanding. The vet gave me her email and responded right away. I highly recommend Layfield.

We love this place, the Vets, the staff and their official greeter, a cat named Joe.Besides the routine vetting, we took our senor German Shepherd Girl for acupuncture to help with her arthritis. It seemed to help her tremendously. They all are very competent, professional and pleasant folks.Our two German Shepherds look forward to going there... thinking they are going for a Party.Highly recommend this place.

Dr Layfield Veternary is the best vets I have had the pleasure of taking my fur babies to. They care and foresee what will and is about to happen. Have taken out animals there for over 20 yrs. He is located in Princess Anne which for.me is an hr away. But they are worth it. Thank you for the way you listen to our concerns and take action accordingly. You all are the best.
