I had an issue with Western Union, the person that I had sent money to hadn't received it.. although it was supposed to be money in minutes. The cashier was very helpful and would not stop until my problem was resolved.Thank you so much!!

Staff was very friendly. Be careful if you go alone. I have had several instances of older men talking to me giving weird vibes and then finding me in different places around the store.

This place had risen to a 4 for me over the last year. This place was a 1 a few years back. They now have better management, better/more food options, updated look, and no more lines thru the aisles while there are employees huddled together right in front of everyone laughing and playing(all talking bout they on break)

I enjoy this Food Lion. Aside from the panic shopping a few months ago, the store is always stocked. The people are friendly and I have never had a problem with the quality. Prices are a bit higher than Walmart but quality is a lot better too. Overall reasonable prices, good selection and friendly service.

I used to work here and was not scheduled for 16 days of no work and I found another job in the mean time and they let me go because "I haven't showed up". Yes I did not show up because I wasn't scheduled for 16 days and when I return to work after said 16 days I'm not longer an employee. Careful who you do business with here. You are treading on very thing ice here.

It's hard for this store to get good help, so they are lacking in customer service. Some of the employees are friendly and polite, while others are rude and unfriendly. The produce is often molding shortly after buying. The meat is often spoiled even when bought within the date.

I'm a regular shopper here bc of convenience but at times employees are standing around while there are long lines and their prices are never correct. I always check my receipt just in case I missed something ringing up wrong. About a 1 in 3 chance I have to go back into the store from them to refund an over charge. Always check your receipts!! Happy trail's!!😊

Let's face it, Food Lion is no Harris Teeter but its a perfectly fine and customery supermarket. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their selection will just about guarantee you will come away with whatever you were looking for. I've found their prices in line with most other eastern shore stores.

If service is what you like, than this is the place to go!!! Prices are a LITTLE higher than their biggest competitor, BUT when I walk in, they ALL know my name!!! From the well staffed deli to the friendly cashier's, and someone even helped me with my groceries a couple days ago!!! I keep coming back and will continue to do so

This isn’t the best grocery store ever but i must give a 5 star review for EXCELLENT customer service! Carol who works in this food lion is so great & seems like she thoroughly cares about customer service & it shows! i forgot my food in the store & she came outside in the cold to my car to give me the bag i left!!! so nice!! i didn’t see on the receipt where i could give her an awesome review so i thought i’d just do it here😊

Always only 2 lines open and lines are wrapped around the store whole they have more than 5 - 10 employees in store. Manger on duty didn't show her face until customers started complaining. One employee would only take one customer at a time in her line. Produce is always rough and old looking. Meats are always body and old looking.

I’ve literally been calling 8 times for the past 40 min to see if they have a item so I don’t come all the way from deal island for nothing (it’s formula) and not a single person is answering. Guess I’ll have to ride all the way out to maybe find out if they have it.

Produce was disgusting-- most of the fruit looked rotten-- and the selection in general is pretty sparse, but you can still manage to score some great deals! I usually spend about $50-$60+ on a grocery run & always save on average $5-$10 a trip. I've had better luck finding things at other Food Lions, but this one is okay enough.

Absolutely the worst customer service on the entire Eastern Shore. A couple weeks ago, the cashier, whose name tag said his name was "Josh", said out loud to me that he "hated every customer who came there". When I told him that without customers, he wouldn't have a job at Food Lion, he said, "they don't pay me, Food Lion does".This conversation came about because he was the only cashier open and when another lane opened up and the other cashier announced that another lane was open, nobody left his lane. That's when the other cashier said, "They must love you Josh". That's when his "hate" comment came out.And only two cashiers at this Food Lion ever says "Thank You" after you pay or interacts in a positive way at all with customers..... Becca is one and Tabitha is the other.The sad thing is.....a smile is free and a "Thank You" would go a long way. Being nice is not hard and even a lazy person won't work up a sweat doing it.I'm a local and only shop there as a last resort. If it wasn't for Becca and Tabitha, I wouldn't go there at all.

Stopped shopping as much here. They remodeled. Definitely passed it on to the consumer. And that is with the rising food costs. I hate the produce department the items are so high the veggies rot.
