Cut watermelon was overripe and melty. So I got mixed fruit and it was hard ie under ripe. I was rudely reprimanded by the obnoxious mature woman clerk for not using a "bar" at the checkout . No one was behind me. Avoiding this Weis.

Only reason there's not 5 is their self checkouts are buggy. The produce department here is where I go when I don't have the farm stand. All winter long it stays fresh and looks great. Smaller but good looking meat department as well.

Love this market because it's quiet and everyone knows your name at the customer service desk, They are so kind to me. But that self check out is ugh! However, when you need help, you do have to find someone to help you work those machines . I will continue to go because I enjoy my relaxed shopping....until I get to the robot, check out machine lol!

Prices were much better than Giant or Safeway which is why they got a 4 but variety is less and also they are short-staffed in cashiers so be ready to use self checkout which is why they did not get a 5

I like the sales they have. I stock up on their sale items. Being disabled and having to depend on my husband when going anywhere, Weis, is my choice for staying local.Update 09/28/23; I still like their sales and still like to shop there because of the sales, but they rely on self check outs to take care of their customers. There was no cashier in duty when I was there. Customers should be given an option of a cashier or self check out. Some of us still like human interaction and prefer not to use self checkout. Especially when you have a cart full. I don't mind using self checkout when I only have a few things, but when it's a cart full, it's terrible. There was only one associate to handle issues, and he wasn't very friendly or informative when asked questions. I had a few issues that I needed him for and had to wave him down and wait. Which held up the customers waiting behind me.

Place is clean and stocked well. Shopped there most of the time for years now. They have installed automated checkout machines now and it's extremely inconvenient with a kid. I will not spend 300 dollars in groceries and check my own self out just for company profit. Have since taken my business to Giant and been satisfied. Wish they would change their practices.

I have never been in a store where there was not even one person to check customers out.. only option was to check yourself out. I was there at 5:45 pm on a Tuesday.. I asked a female employee who was standing and watching customers work ( to check themselves out) if there was anyone checking customers out….. I guess it was too much to even respond, not even a word. Crickets!!! So irritating the lack of customer service these days is sad.

I will NOT be shopping or stepping foot back into this store! This store discriminates against people of color especially if you use the self check out line. I literally try not to use the self check out line for fear of how I will be treated. I can’t even start to ring up my items before someone is standing over me checking my cart to make sure I’m paying for everything. It’s very uncomfortable and so very wrong. I am only writing this after months and months of being followed and watched Every Single Time I shop at this store. My husband who is white NEVER has the same experience as I do. Today I confronted a manager who could care less about my compliant and made excuses for the reason I’m being treated this way. I informed her that I understand theft happens but not every black person steals! This doesn’t happen to me at any other store in my area but this one. If you are a person of color please beware of this when shopping at this store.

Worst check out experience. No cashiers. Self checkout only, every 5th item fails to scan, fails to sense that you put item in grocery bag, yells at you if you put a full grocery bag in your cart even though the spinners full. Ruined the rest of my day, thanks Weiss, lost a long time customer. You can contact me, I'm not calling your number that you'll post as a comment on every negative review.

The past month or so there has not been a live cashier working a register. Every time you have to check yourself out and you fill all the bags and remove one to put in your cart to make room it calls for an associate to come scan their card. The associate is either overwhelmed or not in a hurry. I go to this store every week but I think today was my last time using this location.

Best store ever! Been shopping online since the pandemic began, they do their very best to fulfill your order as requested, and call if an item is unavailable in an attempt to secure a replacement. Upon arrival at the store the staff loads your groceries in your car with care, and expertise so to speak. Best staff ever, they are always professional, courteous, and kind. I highly recommend shopping at Weis not only for their products but also for at the wonderful customer service provided always.

one thing about this place is if the food isnt normally sold alot they wont change it out. in the yougurt section my mom wanted some cream cheese & they were so spoiled the date was june 29 -july 6 the lady said heres one it expires july 6 i said uh its july 10…… she went OH! so yeah good prices but please look at the expiration date!

Clean store. Plenty to choose from, compared to many other grocery stores. I'm not a big fan of self checkouts, but i do understand why they exist. Having 3 or 4 self checkouts, is okay. Not having any cashiers at the registers, is wrong. There were customers upset, because there were no register open with a cashier.

Just ran in to get some basics. The cash registrar was very helpful in donating use of the store card for discounts and organizing food into bags practically in a manner that made putting them away when I returned home was a breeze. Thank you, Weis.

Bagels sign said fresh, but they had mole on them. Waited to get a Weis market card and inform the manager of the molded fresh bread ten minutes no one ever came to the customer service centerNo wanting to be late returning from my lunch break I could not wait any longer.

Nice clean grocery store, always well stocked. Due to an autoimmune issue I have to eat gluten free, between Weis, Giant and Safeway in Prince Frederick, Weis has the largest selection of gluten free products at unbeatable prices. Highly recommend trying out this grocery store

I visited the Deli this evening. MacKenzie was VERY kind & greeted me politely, with a smile. She could tell that I was struggling with my choices, so she helped me make a few selections based on my needs. She even paid attention to detail when I requested how thick I wanted the slices. I was very impressed! If you want a Friendly Customer Service experience from Weis's Deli Dept., make sure to stop in and see MacKenzie!😁

Very disappointed with the check out. Only one actual cashier. All registers were self with debt only. There was 2 not clearly marked for cash, debit or credit card. May not shop this store again.

Employees are very nice and helpful. The store is clean for the most part. It appears they have a leak in the roof and I dont like that. But it doesn't rain everyday so store appearance is decent! Overall great store and awesome customer service.

I visit this Weis quite frequently since it is fairly close to my residence. They have a nice variety of things- produce, an international foods section, a fish counter, a meat counter, assorted canned goods, cookies, cakes and sweets, candies and assorted nut butters, assorted milks - whole milk, 2%, 1%, skim milk, almond milk, cashew milk, coconut milk, pantry shelf dairy and non dairy milks, chocolates and candies, assorted ice creams, ice cream toppings and waffle cones and waffle bowls, cream cheeses, butters, sour cream, frozen pizzas and frozen meals and frozen breakfasts, regular plastic straws, paper straws, reusable metal and or glass straws with accompanying straw brushes for washing, assorted chips, tortillas, tortilla chips, salsas, queso cheese, snack type chips, pretzels, rice, quinoa, canned chickpeas/garbonzo beans, hummus in assorted flavors, popcorns and popcorn seasoning and spices and extracts..... Great selection of grocery items, but they also have cleaning supplies too. Mops, mop replacement things, sponges, liquid dish soap, dishwasher cleaner, dish pods, liquid laundry soap, laundry pods, laundry bars, borax, baking soda, super washing soda, vinegar, toilet brushes and plungers, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, shampoo bars, body wash, lotion, toothpaste and toothbrush, mouthwash and dental floss and dental picks, hand sanitizer, face masks, medicines and vitamins, feminine hygiene things, baby food, diapers, wipes, sodas . . . They even have these glass bottles in the international foods section right by the produce area, glass bottles that contain Japanese style of sodas. I tried one once from a place in Baltimore and I don't remember what it was like and I'll admit that the one that I had in Baltimore was expensive but that was probably because it was from a Japanese candy shop in some mall, it's possible that the Japanese soda at Weis may not be as pricey. I'm not sure though, but if you're looking to try something new in the soda department, maybe give it a try. I know I would.
