So unbelievably rude from the pharmacist who was rude to the MD that called my script in to the business side. When are you going to do something about this? ….seems it’s a long history based your reviews. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I shared with your pharmacist that the doc was very put off by her behavior and she was non plussed. Does not care. Get rid of your nasty people! It’s just not necessary!!!!!

Always have had friendly interactions at this pharmacy. They are always helpful. The orly issue is that we never get notified by the auto calling that a prescription is ready for pickup.

The many one star reviews are well deserved. I made a 5pm appointment for a flu shot, and arrived early and checked in, and waited 30 mins without being seen before eventually just leaving. Go to the Giant down the street for flu shots / vaccines instead.

Wasted my time today. Made an appointment for the covid vaccine. Of course you have to get there 15 mins early because the line is always so long. Well anyways after waiting they didn't have the vaccine and told me to reschedule. To be fair they did call me 15 mins before my appointment ( I was in line @ the Walgreens and figured it was spam call). Not surprised as they never fill ur prescriptions or put it through your insurance. This is the last time I make the mistake and go to this pharmacy.

I'm shaking. I've never been treated this way for asking a question. I was blindsided and ended up getting off the phone in tears.We are new to town and are just trying to get meds transferred in a new area. New pediatrician offered me a paper prescription for one because there is a nationwide shortage. She advised me to call around to find someone who has it in stock.I called this Walgreens and asked if they had it in stock. What ensued is something I've never experienced before. In one fail swoop she yelled at me, accused me of lying, and then went to hang up on me. I wouldn't have argued back and would have respected any policies. I was blindsided and ended up getting off the phone in tears.

Disappointing, slow service. Poor employee attitude. Pharmacy employees work sluggishly and will not serve you if the clock just hit their lunch break; lines are always long because of this. Poor condition and sanitation of bathroom facilities. This Walgreens' overall biggest flaw is their lackluster pharmacy service. Very unfortunate and disappointing.

I switched to Walgreens a few years ago with my wife and I haven’t had a good experience yet. They’re either blatantly rude or sarcastic when you express your bad experience by saying things like “sorry you feel that way” I get questioned and pulled aside everytime I go to pick up one of my kids medicines because we don’t have the same last name. Their wait times are ridiculous and most of the staff has terrible attitudes. Do not recommend.

Consistent issues with PHARMACY. Long lines and slow service. Prescriptions not getting filled every month without having to call each time. No answers as to why prescriptions do not get filled when requested. Out of medications. Today drive-through closed, medicines stacked in a cart not put away, ATM machine broke.

If there were 0 stars or minus, I would have opted for that. I thought the last few times could have been an aberration… have been different times and has been the same thing. Plan to wait 30-45 minutes if using the drive through, depending upon if there is a car ahead of you. If 2… Don’t even bother. They won’t even acknowledge that they are aware of you being at the window! No “we’ll be right with you”, not even a wave! I have been using this location for almost a year. It’s gone from bad to worse. To make it even crazier, they keep saying their out of my monthly meds after calling to say it’s ready… also 3rd time in a row. Not a unique med (adderall), it’s pretty widely prescribed - maybe this is new management or new pharmacist I can’t say. Have used Walgreens for years albeit other locations. The location of this one is convenient, but I will be driving out of my way for less convenient going forward. If you are using meds that are life threatening to be without. Go elsewhere, you are risking your life depending on this location.

Absolute worst pharmacy. My baby was sick in Christmas Eve. The doctor said he HAD to start on his medication ASAP since he had a fever for over a week. After sitting on hold for 45 minutes, being hung up on then calling again and being hung up on AGAIN after another 30 minutes, I sent me mother. She waited in long be for over an hour. When she approached the pharmacy tech, they told her “Sorry, we aren’t filling prescriptions anymore today.” My mom told her she was a NP and she knows that they absolutely can’t do that and that her grandson was ill. So the lady responds with “ok, let me see it.” My mom gives all of the insurance info (which was already in the system), waits the 45 minutes, stands in line for another hour and is told they can’t “find our insurance info” and they have to see where they may have messed up. 30 minutes goes by. Still nothing. So my mother paid $75 out if pocket just to be done with it. Every SINGLE time I have gone since they have never had scripts ready on time, are super rude and can never “find” our information. I waited with my 7 month old for 2 hours today. The last time, 30 minutes after the last time they told me to wait another 10 minutes, he still hadn’t mixed the medicine yet. Enough is enough. GET IT TOGETHER. This will absolutely be the last time I ever use this pharmacy.Since I can’t write 2 reviews I’m updating this one. I get a call from them telling me I need to refill my script. I press 1 to refill then I’m told sorry, we can’t fulfill that request. So I call. The pharmacy has no idea what medication I’m refilling because she “doesn’t know the generic name for it.” Then I’m put on hold for 15 minutes and hung up on. I call back.... the pharmacist answers with “Yes?” Hands down the worst place you can ever go if you need ANY help from the pharmacy. If you can’t handle refilling scripts, stop calling people to tell them “it’s time.”

The store is fine. The people working in the store are great. The pharmacy hours are horrible! My bank has better hours than this Walgreens location. I don’t mind waiting in line that’s just how it is with so many people not wanting to work… however; if you are only open from 9-530 Monday through Friday??? Most everyone else is working those hours too! Unfortunately I will need to take my rx business elsewhere.

If I could give this Walgreens a negative star I would. I’m military who just transferred to MD and went to Walgreens because I’ve always do business there. The pharmacy made me wait for a week and when the medication was in he put a hold on it because he has to contact me dr. My dr called them, with no response. I called him to explain my situation and he said, he don’t care what the situation is, even if it was mental or not. He had other priorities to take care of like Covid. Mental or not, in my opinion, if he doesn’t want to refill it because it’s his decision. I hope Tricare goes away from Walgreens because he didn’t care if if I was a veteran. If military are transferring to this location go somewhere else. I had to go back and get my hard copy prescription and bring it somewhere else. The pharmacist had me wait a week and did nothing with it! I got it back and got it filled the same day. My fellow vets, do not go to this Walgreens!!!

I called the pharmacy right at 9:00 a.m. to refill a prescription. Despite having JUST opened, I waited on hold for 15 minutes before someone answered my call. The person put me on hold again (10 minutes this time) and then hung up on me. This is not the first time I have experienced this kind of customer service at the Market Square Walgreens.

Ordered COVID-19 test kits on line in the morning, spending almost $100 through PayPal. Certain kits were available in stored according to website. Never received a confirmation to pick up my order. Instead was told my order was delayed? Spent 1/2 hour on the phone. Was told the store didn’t have them in stock until the afternoon and shoppers purchased them all up within an hour or so. Meaning, I placed my order in the morning and no one pulled the order when they came in! I’ve never been a Walgreens fan (high prices and slow checkouts) and now I will never ever step foot in a Walgreens. At the present time I am on hold again with Walgreens to cancel my order and will have to wait weeks for a PayPal refund to my bank. What an awful company and poorly managed business.

The Pharmacy at this location is in need of serious improvement. They are consistently late filling prescriptions. I’m not sure they have ever had my medication ready on time. Contrast that with the Walgreens directly across the street that is always busy yet runs like a well oiled machine,consistently having medications ready when they said they would be. If the regional manager for these stores ever reads comments they should have the the manager of the hospital store take over this location. It is inexcusable that a pharmacy located directly across the street from a large medical complex does not have the knowledge or resources to dispense medication in a timely fashion. Do not go here until the management has either been retrained or replaced, you will be left frustrated at the same time you’re sick or in pain, what a wonderful combination, thanks Walgreens!

I was going to switch from CVS to Walgreens but now I changed my mind. They are so unorganized and the drive up window is always closed. Today I waited 1 hour for prescriptions that we're called in 2 hours ago. While waiting I used the public restroom that was so nasty looks like it's never been cleaned. The staff was nice and working hard but couldn't keep up. Where the hell is Management, do they read all these awful reviews? I'd rather drive to a CVS in Chesapeake Beach , good bye!

By far the slowest, most inconvenient place to get prescriptions filled.Don’t expect prescriptions to be ready for pick up same day..Prescriptions I’ve had sent over at 9 AM still aren’t ready at 5:30 PM. And then I’m told to wait another 45 minutes for them to fill...It’s been over an hour and they’re still not ready..Highly recommend going elsewhere unless you’ve got A LOT of time to kill...It sucks too because the staff is so nice. :/

Has to be the slowest Walgreens in the country. The line inside is always 8-10 people deep and the drive thru is 5-6 cars back every single time you drive by. I had a prescription called in the night before, I went the next morning to go pick it up, an hr and a half after they even opened, and they told me they’re still working on filling it. Place is garbage

I rarely leave negate reviews unless it is truly necessary, and after using this business for well over 3 years I would really like to see some changes made within this business. Let me preface this review by stating this does not pertain to the individuals who work in the Rite Aid store itself but to only those who work within the pharmacy.1) Each time I approach the counter to pick up my meds, almost ever employee seems perturbed. As if by filling my prescription I am disturbing them and the service is never warm and friendly, But instead cold and sometimes hostile.2) Next if there is ever a problem relating to a insurance problem or refill dates the pharmacist will at times get annoyed and loose their tempers and have an all around negative attitude about the situation. Making it seem like I caused the problem and by not understanding US pharmaceutical procedures makes me a complete neanderthal.I really hope this pharmacy can improve I know all customers are not polite or understanding, but try to understand not everyone has exceptional insurance and when a problem arises its stressful and sometimes scary knowing you may not get the medication you desperately need to live. I hope I can come back and change this review to 5 stars.

I had hoped that with the change from Rite Aid to Walgreens the pharmacy would improve but nope. The automated refill is gone. I watched our doctor fax two prescriptions over and 3 hours later they claim they don’t have it. Clearly we aren’t the only ones having this issue and I highly doubt Walgreens upper management is paying attention.

Generally expect to double whatever time they tell you you'll need to wait for your medication at the pharmacy. I understand that they're busy, but most people are and we would appreciate a realistic time frame. As a bonus, their employees smoke next to the door which causes problems for people who, like my family, have respiratory issues. It's a place where sick people pick up medicine after all, not a bar or restaurant.

Only reason I gave it 1 star is because negative star isn't an option. I genuinely wish I was exaggerating when I say they have NEVER filled a prescription when they said it would be ready....NEVER ... Literally dropped the prescription off at 10am, called at noon to verify it was ready, showed up at 3pm just be told it's STILL not ready and asked if I would like to wait an hour.....or come back later.... P.s. the drive thru window is still not working.... Just to add insult to injury. 100% will be the last prescription they get from me. Do better

Do you like unbelievable wait times , inefficient and rude staff ?Then this Is the pharmacy for you , I've only filled twice here and every time there are several extremely upset customers waiting or prescriptions messed up.I'm transferring my prescription elsewhere , I strongly advise anyone reading this to do the same .

Great service. Have to give credit to this location because of the friendly and helpful pharmacy team. Every time I call or need assistance I always get a courteous response and prompt service, even when it’s busy and inconvenient to do so.

I love that this store is very organized and has a lot more variety than the one that closed in St Mary’s but I do miss the Pharmacy Staff the Pharmacist at the Prince Frederick branch is rude, doesn’t even look up to acknowledge you when you come to the counter and when you say excuse me he gives you the impression that you’re bothering him, I know they have more than one and I wish I had gotten his name but if I have this problem again I will, I said something to one of the clerks on the floor about his unprofessional behavior and they apologized for him and they help me find what I was looking for but it was a pharmaceutical question, I don’t want to leave rite aid for his behavior. I hope that this situation will be resolved, I’m coming over the bridge in order to stay with Rite Aid

If you liked being hung up on, talk to the pharmacy manager. They also like to close early before lunch then say they did not. Pharmacy hours are horrendous! No weekends at all.
