I like Prince Frederick Giant, the best of the ones in Calvert County. The layout is easy to navigate and remember. They have most of what I am looking for in stock. They have a good selection of non dairy products.

This place is awful!!! The employees are rude, ignore customers, it's dirty, and the 60 yr old -ish female manager was very unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, and really seemed to just have a vendetta against the vendor workers that were there. She was the epitome of a bad boss! I watched her mess up what a vendor had nearly completed as if she has a vendetta against them or as if so she can complain to the chip vendor to get free stuff. It was fishy and unprofessional. She should NEVER be allowed to be a manager and should honestly be fired. I will no longer shop there. That lady better be lucky she didn't speak to me. If I were those employees or vendor workers, I'd sue that woman for harassment and sue Giant for allowing that level of awful and unprofessional behavior from her. What is sad is she will likely be the one to review this and nothing will ever be done about her. They will no longer get my business.

I have been shopping here for YEARS and the customer service has gone wayyyy done the last couple months! Cashiers don’t even greet you anymore! As a customer they make you feel like you are bothering them! Definitely need some staff training on customer service! I’m going to try Safeway out for now, no sense getting irritated when going to the grocery store! Do better GIANT!

So went to the local and good ole Giant today to stock up on groceries. Walked in staff was very welcoming (both elder staff and younger members). Covid or warehouse staffing is messing up the grocery store shelves...To say the least items are limited and not gonna complain about the prices it is what I have to deal with. So thank you to those still working and smiling at the stores. I truly appreciate and support your efforts.

Week after week, month after month, the produce department is appalling. Whoever authorizes the purchase of the produce for your store should either be coached, trained, or terminated if they can’t get their act together. Every week, peppers are old, soft and spongy, rotting in the bins. Cucumbers are the size of a thick carrot and they are old and mushy to the touch, yet, they allow it to still be on display to be sold.Why are the Calvert county giant food stores, in general, getting it seems whatever is leftover and not wanted by the other stores ? I guarantee you that store 175 in Rockville as well as the stores near Potomac, Md would not sell the product that you choose to sell in the Prince Frederick location.This needs to change and I mean change now!!! I can tell you this, Izzy ( for those of you old enough who he is) would have not permitted this substandard product to be sold period.I’ll save the other comments of mine for a later time. Let’s see if you can handle correcting this issue first

Giving 5 stars this time because of Mark. He is one of the assistant managers there. And he helped with a pick up order that wasn’t to my liking. He called me and was extremely kind and understanding, so thank you Mark. You are a great asset to the staff at giant!

Ryan and the staff at the pharmacy were great! They made note that the charge for the medicine I was picking up was very high. They spent time and energy to resubmit through my insurance provider on a Friday evening near closing time to make it right!

I stopped in this location, Prince Frederick, so it's layed out differently.With the canned name brand soda on sale, Buy 2-Get 3 Free, I would have given it 5 stars if the Grape Crush soda was available for purchase ...

The cashier named Butch was amazing!!! He was so kind and interacted with my son! It made my sons day! His personality is impeccable! He can hold a conversation and gave me a great idea for an air fryer meal! This man needs a raise! You need more cashiers like him!

Ordered a delivery front giant on Friday January 14th, the majority of my food was completely molded. I spent close to $230 on food just for it to all be riddled with mold. Wont ever be shopping here again.

I like the selection Giant offers, but it has become to over crowded. They are becoming quite a bit expensive, but if you truly are needing something Giant is the place to go.

I had to check myself out because the 2 lines open had about 8 people. If I’m going to do the checkout myself I should get a discount if not I will go somewhere else. Don’t cry to me about no help, it’s time to cutoff unemployment.

Well what can I say about Giant Grocery store but that it IS GIANT. Just isles and isles of food. SAFEWAY grocery, which is across the street and down a short way, is just dwarfed in comparison. We will be frequenting this establishment more often.
