We are most grateful to Sarah Elizabeth at the Prince Frederick Five Below, who went above and beyond today. I was on a shopping spree with my 10 year old daughter and 2 of her best friends… quite the whirlwind! We went into Five Below just twenty minutes before close, and she and her coworkers politely and pleasantly informed us that they’d be closing at six, but didn’t rush us. In the process of helping the three girls check out with their different payment methods, somehow my daughter managed to leave her phone and her ULTA bag behind when we left the store. When we realized an hour later and called my daughter’s phone, Sarah answered as she was leaving at the end of her shift, and kindly offered to wait out front until we could return to meet her. She greeted us with a sweet smile when we pulled up… and we discovered that she and I share the same first and middle name. Her kindness saved us from a great deal of stress and aggravation. Thank you Sarah!!!Overall the store was clean and well-organized as usual, and we had a great experience.

Like most Five Below outlets, there's always something to find. Even in the week leading up to Christmas, I was able to get help with a large checkout (Toys 4 Tots shopping) but like many stores, it's mostly self-checkout. I don't recall filling out an application to work there. I was fortunate that a kind and courteous employee saw my order and immediately came over to help out. I understand the self-checkout to keep prices lower but there should always be at least one or two people at the registers.

Staff at the store always offer to help. The self checkout here is manageable. Selection of cheap items is decent but beware any plastic toy or rc racecar- these things break quickly...plenty of candy and snacks up front and usually some cute seasonal decorations worth grabbing

Why is there only one self check out open and stuff all over? I know the entire staff changed but it USED to be nice.

The store is okay. Insane amount of candy/snack items for kids to choose from. I do not like that it is self checkout only. I do not feel a person in a wheelchair would have ample space to maneuver around in this store as you are kinda bumping into people or having to wait until other people (1-2 people) leave an isle before you can go.

Nice place to shop but not enough things you want to look to buy cuz it's usually the same stuff other than that I maybe picked out an item or two I would say this place needs more for selection with that said not bad 😉

I was helped by Laura she pointed me in the right direction of the product I was looking for. Helped me at the self check out even though I didn't need it but I didn't mind. Super friendly and made me feel welcomed. Thanks

Not what I expected ..Many items are way over five and don't like the feeling of being tricked plus I thought it was against the law to advertise one thing and price another..Should be 30.00 below but I did find a couple things priced in that range.

This is my new favorite location even passing the Annapolis, MD location. The store was well stocked, clean, and it is huge. I got a ton of stuff I probably didn't need but love anyway.

Seems like a great store but never got a chance to do much because they close way to early for especially a people that don't get off in the evening from work. 8:00 I think is just to early.

Employees are a lot nicer at this location they have a better quality of goods offered wonderful customer service I hope St Mary's county will take some notes

Great place to be and very helpful for people with a disability and handicap and senior citizens they have everything in sight in that store even groceries and even phone jacks and even anything you need I will continue shopping 🛒

There is always a very interesting mix of items in here but the value continues to decline over time. You really have to be careful with each item to be sure you are not over paying
