This place is a hidden gem. They have a variety of quality products for dogs and cats. They have no rawhide products!!! Stella and Chewy for my picky pup and they have a refrigerated area. They do have fish but not full aquarium, more like Betas. I enjoy going off season for the great deals on pet wear including coats. Halloween is fun, great selection of costumes. Enough about the store. The staff there are so kind and helpful. I truly enjoy going there for my pet needs and if I have questions the staff is willing to assist me quickly. They walk with you to go look for a specific item. I hope you will go check this place out!

The space is quite large, with a wide array of food, treats, clothing, leashes, and other oddities for your pets. The pricing is pretty competitive but I've found cheaper prices online for the same supplies. Most of the time the service is great and the workers seem to genuinely care for animals. However, I have ran into two instances where it was quite challenging to find assistance although the store was empty both times. More like 3.5 stars but can use a little improvement!

Nice store. Generally tidy. Everything for dogs and cats. Prices seem competitive and there are products at a range of price points to suit everyone. Some store specific discounts seem generous. I've bought based on them twice. I've been going here for about 6 months since moving to the area.

My favorite pet store of all. It has a very mom and pop feel. They carry conventional brands and other higher quality brands than you typically find in boutique style pet shops so it's the best of both worlds here. They also have a ten dollar dog washing station where you can wash your own dog and it includes treats, shampoo, conditioner and a high pressured dryer. Great way to clean your dog without breaking your wallet. Staff is extremely helpful and polite, I prefer this place to pet smart any day.

I always find this place very clean and organized. The customer service is stellar!!!! Kelly is the manager there and she has hired the right staff. She is over the top in her customer service skills. She is very mindful of your pets needs and she has trained her staff to be the same. Always helpful, patient and pet friendly (staff love animals) they always show my dog love. Stop in and you will see. The store has a variety of foods for dogs, cats, birds and small animals. This is one of two stores that carry a huge variety of Stella and Chewy products in the Bethesda, Rockville, Silver Spring, Wheaton area! Huge plus. Not to mention they have a clearance section along with weekly sale items!!! They have treats in bowls throughout the store for your pet as well as a water bowl for your thirsty pet. They do have cat adoptions, so you may find a furry friend in the store. This store has e everything I need from leashes, clothes toys, treats include baked goods, wellness items to include dental to frozen/refrigerated foods and goat milk. Dont let the size of the store fool you, they have plenty of items for your pet(s).

They have a wide variety of foods and accessories for your pets needs. Very helpful staff. Often times I walk in and they're doing a dog training session in the front area of the store. Treats Bully Sticks Foods water fountain bowls leashes harnesses collars toys... Everything you could need.

Great people, very helpful and friendly. They patiently gave us so much information when we were trying to decide on what food to give our pyppy. Really good stuff at the store, can be a little pricey though.

Good variety of products, but unfortunately the Tuckerman location, right around the corner from the Cabin John dog park apparently doesn't have a dog wash station. Unfortunate! If this could be changed, I'd definitely be here more often, as my dog has a tendency to roll around in the damp soil on hot days at the park, and she isn't the only one. A nearby location with a dog washing station could be profitable and convenient

Pet Valu consistently has extremely nice and helpful employees. Their prices are similar to other stores but it's worth the trip here for good advice on pet products and a very good selection.

Hands down the best pet store ever. The manager Kelly and all her staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about all pets coming in.Only place to shop for my Shiba.

Very helpful...and honest...once I told the clerk what brand of puppy food I was looking for she was honest about the quality of the other foods...very refreshing..even though I already knew about the other brands...its nice that she didn't try and push a lesser food.

Petvalue is my favorite pet store and I go there on my lunch break and always spend so much money on my two cat babies Leo and Liz and then I'm always so excited to go home from work with new exciting things for the babies BUT I AM SO SAD THEY ARE CLOSING GOING OUT OF BUISNESS AND THE SALES ARE GOOD RIGHT NOW SO GO AND HELP THEM CLEAR OUT THE SHELVES!!!
