LOVE Elysiem in Potomac. The store and grooming area are very clean. Love they take a few dogs at the time and they are quick with the grooming. Doggies don’t seat there all day long on a cage.I love Nicole, she does a beautiful job with my three little ones. She is also able to handle my little “naughty” one (who is a terror when it comes to being groomed).Judy is also a joy to do scheduling with and they all try to accommodate their clients.I’m very happy I decided to give them a try about a year ago. I do recommend them 💕

Alexis is simply the best! My dog goes right back with her because he knows she’s safe. She takes extra care with him and he always looks spectacular. He has a fancy cut and it shows when she does his styling

I recently visited Elysiem in Potomac, MD, with my puppy Coco for her first grooming session, and I was thoroughly impressed by the entire team’s kindness and professionalism. From the moment we walked in, everyone, especially our groomer Ashley, made us feel incredibly welcome. They treated Coco with such care and gentleness, ensuring her grooming experience was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.The attention to detail was fantastic. Coco came out looking adorable with a lovely bow, and the treats she received, which she adored, were a thoughtful touch. The whole experience at Elysiem was a testament to their commitment to providing excellent service and genuine care for their furry clients.I’m truly grateful to Ashley and the entire team at Elysiem for making Coco’s first grooming experience so positive. We will definitely be returning for all her future grooming needs. A big thank you to everyone at Elysiem for taking such great care of my little Coco!

This was such a great experience for our pup. We were seeing a mobile groomer for awhile but they moved away and had a hard time finding someone that could really cut maltipoo hair. Lauren did such a great job on our little guy and the customer service here was so good. We will be back for sure!

I cannot say enough good things about Elysiem. You know they are great when your dogs run in towards the door. From their ease of scheduling to their love and care of the dogs they groom…Elysiem does it better than any other groomer around. Special shout out to Alexis, my dogs groomer who our dogs (and us) adore. Alexis is not only incredibly professional but she is an expert in grooming. She performs magic and they never leave looking like “puffy poodles” even though they are poodle mixes. As long as we have Alexis, we will never go anywhere else. Thank you Alexis and Elysiem.

Ashleigh groomed our puppy for the first time she took care to bath and comb her and trim her nails feet and face. We did a second grooming 2 weeks later to cut her full coat. This was a good introduction in two phases. She was calm when I dropped her the second time and when I picked her up. I also like that dogs are taken by appointment time and not crated while waiting. .

We love Elysiem! Our dog has been going to Elysiem for over a year and each time is a great experience, for him and us. The staff and groomers are so friendly and knowledgeable, and we always feel comfortable leaving our dog with them (plus he’s so handsome once they’re done)! The store section is also full of great food, treat and toy options. We highly recommend this place - check it out!

I'm leaving this review after my second visit to Elysiem, but I'm so glad I found this grooming center. My pup Daisy previously struggled with haircuts because of how most places crate up multiple dogs in the back after their cuts are done. Elysiem only takes a few dogs at a time by appointment and doesn't crate any of them up. Every time I go to pick Daisy up, she's prancing around happily in the back playing with the other dog who is also waiting to be picked up.Ashley does an incredible job. She's very sweet, kind and will make sure to pay attention to your requests. She was even very accommodating and allowed me to bring Daisy back to get some touch ups on areas of her hair that I was concerned about.All in all a great facility with very friendly staff. They respond pretty quickly too. Really fair pricing and all around solid quality. Thank you!

Ashley is the best groomer! Been going to her now for about half a year and my dog loves it. Much more laid back then drop off places where the dog has to wait around all day. He’s in and out in about hour and a half. Always looks great!

Rueben has been grooming our dog for over 5 years (at the Bethesda location) and he always does an amazing job. The entire staff at Elysium always make me feel welcomed and like my pup is well cared for. Not only do they provide a wonderful grooming service but they are also very knowledgeable in regards to canine behavioral safety and management. Our dog is very anxious and recently was diagnosed with a heart condition. Both Alexis and Reuben have gone above and beyond to ensure our pup is as comfortable and relaxed as possible as to not exacerbate his condition. 10/10 recommend!!

Reuben has been making my dogs beautiful since the mid 2000s. We started at Kenwood, followed him to North Bethesda and gladly followed him back to Elysium. He and his staff are friendly and wonderful. I really don’t want too many people to know about them as it can be difficult getting an appointment but I think the word is already out ;)

I stumbled upon this wonderful groomer today while taking my fluffy French bulldog for a walk today. The place looked impeccably clean and inviting so I decided to pop in for a quick nail trim for my puppy Oso. As soon as we entered the staff greeted us with big smiles and took Oso to the back for his trim. I could hear them speaking to him in such a sweet and gentle manner & It really put me at ease. It's always a bit nerve wracking finding a groomer who treats your pet with care but I'm so relieved to have found this place!! I'll definitely be making regular visits from now on :)

I took my precious Maltipoo for another trim work this weekend (March 30, 2024), and once again I was thrilled with my experience at Elysiem Park Potomac. Lauren is truly so fabulous with dogs! She is absolutely sweet, kind, caring and understanding! During the ENTIRE grooming period, Lauren kept 100 percent of her attention on my dog! She also tirelessly tried to sooth my dog (who is usually anxious) and make him feel at ease by constantly sweet talking to him, showing affection and love, and being simply patient. She is such a terrific groomer and an absolute Pro!! Seeing Lauren how she takes care of my dog truly impresses me; she just loves dogs!Also, there is something special about Elysiem. My dog usually barks at strangers and other dogs but, at Elysiem, he simply doesn’t. He stays very calm! There was absolutely no barking or hyper reaction when he saw another client walking in to pick up her dog. I can only credit my dog’s incredible behavior with the positive feeling he associates with Lauren and his overall experiences at Elysiem. Yes only twice since February, but I know my dog! This is a very special place for him!!! Once again, I give 10 out of 5 stars!~******************************************************************I took my 4 and a half year old Maltipoo for a few services (including nail and paws trimming) this weekend (Feb 2 2024), and was extremely pleased with my experience. Initially, I was very nervous since my dog is hyper reactive, and had a very negative experience with his first puppy grooming elsewhere when he was only 3 months old.To my surprise, my dog showed an immediate affection from the moment he met Lauren, his groomer, with no uneasiness or crying so he ended up getting a light trimming as well, way more than what I thought would be tolerable by my dog. This speaks monumentally of Lauren’s expertise, professionalism, love and care for dogs. She was very kind, patient, understanding, caring and empathetic. She will listen to all your concerns and find a way to help ease them.My entire experience was exceptionally positive. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, John, during my appointment who seemed very kind, dedicated, passionate and creative with his business concepts at Elysiem. He is a very impressive gentleman, genuinely caring about dogs and pets, and his clients’ needs. Elysiem is like a pet grooming boutique, and is very clean. I feel so blessed to have found this place which is also very near my house! This is truly the BEST grooming place I have ever experienced since 2019, and would give 10 out of 5 stars!!!

My dog is loved and cared for, that’s my biggest concern. Alexis’s groomed my older dog for 13 years, she’s wonderful and caters to their needs and quirks. My current dog is more high maintenance and he always looks great even the day before his grooming.

We bring our Ragdoll cat to Elysiem for a bath and nail trim every month, and they never disappoint! Nicole does a wonderful job of bathing him and making sure he’s comfortable; he always comes home all clean and dry. The whole staff is very caring and accommodating - I highly recommend!

Just took my 11 mos old terrier mix in for a grooming and WOW! Brittany is an artist! I’ve never had a terrier and so am unfamiliar with grooming needs of these breeds but when I dropped off my scruffy pup I never could’ve imagined how fantastic she could look. All the heart eyes over here, plus Brittany is so sweet with the pups and I love that it’s a cage free experience so when my dog was done she got to hang out for the few minutes until I got there. Great communication and given the amount and detailed work that was done it was very timely, just over an hour! The store and salon are also very aesthetically pleasing and grooming area SO CLEAN! Thrilled with this place and Brittany’s work!!
